A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

Coffee That was me, how can I help?

BWatchWatcher · 12/12/2017 23:10

The phoenix is a good comic for boys 8-11?

HoneyDragon · 12/12/2017 23:34

Yumyum do you have a local comic store? They often do vouchers and loyalty schemes.

1stTimeMama · 12/12/2017 23:43

Does anyone have a Lisa Angel discount code at all please?

CoffeeAndEnnui · 12/12/2017 23:43

@TellMeItsNotTrue, thank you so much for replying! I'm trying to buy a sock subscription for a friend but the only offer I'm seeing is a discount for members when they log in. And presumably I'm not a member until I've subscribed which will cancel out the discount?!

I thought I'd remembered you saying a multi sock box option came up at check out but the offer has either ended or I'm doing something wrong. The only gift option seems to be a dual subscription right now...

For the person who needed arty ideas amongst other things for their 12 year old, one thing I've bought successfully for art-mad people of all ages is a drawing book with black paper pages and white, cream and very pale blue colouring pencils.

I usually get it from Hobbycraft as that's my nearest art shop but you should be able to get it very reasonably from most art shops and suppliers.

Apparently it's a very good thing to do if you're still learning to draw as you're drawing with light rather than dark so you colour in the highlights and leave the dark bits blank, the opposite way from drawing usually so a new way of thinking about and doing things you take for granted.

margaritasbythesea · 13/12/2017 06:14

mayathebee - I have been watching for cheap Sylvanians for ages and apart from the odd sudden price drop on Amazon, I haven´t seen any good deals. Sorry.

snowbellina · 13/12/2017 06:22

Amazon Echo is down to £69.99

youokayhun · 13/12/2017 06:34

Any ideas how to get a discount on very (I can't use the credit option unfortunately!!!) I tried using the 10% off first order code on previous page but says it's invalid and I don't want to pay full price Sad

Also any barginous ways of getting some men's Molton brown stuff?!

Oreocrumbs · 13/12/2017 06:47

Has anyone had a problem when ordering with GAP? I ordered dd's Xmas party clothes from there last week, they took the payment and had confirmation.

I've heard nothing since and now I've just checked the bank and the money for gap is no longer a pending payment it's back in my balance.

gingerbreadmam · 13/12/2017 06:49

Transformers mega pack on Argos has 23 pound off if any good to anyone.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 13/12/2017 07:42

I still have a Lakeland £5 off a £30 spend if anyone wants it!

PlaymobilPirate · 13/12/2017 07:58

Argh - I bought an Echo at 89.99... it's being delivered today 😣😣

keepitgoing · 13/12/2017 07:58

Wanting an aquadoodle, anyone know any good deals?

Taffeta · 13/12/2017 07:58

Gap: not a problem with payment, but items took a long time to arrive. (Around 12 days)

Jenni2legs · 13/12/2017 08:12

If anyone has a spare Adidas or Reebok code I'd thankfully take it off them Xmas Wink

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 13/12/2017 08:41

I have a Reebok one. I'll PM it.

prominent5 · 13/12/2017 08:44

Unidays have 30% off both Adidas and Reebok. I could pm you a code if you like @Jenni2legs

lookingforbaubles · 13/12/2017 11:00

playmobilPirate if you bought the echo direct from amazon its worth going on live chat with them and asking for the diference refunded as they can be very helpful

Saladtongs · 13/12/2017 11:51

Tesco has reduced this BIC 100 piece set to £6 from £22. Ideal for present drawer or last minute gifts

claireybeee · 13/12/2017 12:32

Can anyone recommend anywhere to get a snuggly blanket for a stylish teenager? Thank you!

bunbunny · 13/12/2017 13:01

claireybeee snuggliest throws and blankets at best price - Costco.

Mostly plain or cream Sherpa backed so go for the best colour - not an exciting or cool design but they won't care as they're so snuggly!

claireybeee · 13/12/2017 13:02

Brilliant thank you, I’ll check them out

SymphonyofShadows · 13/12/2017 14:34

Gah! I can't decide what to do. I have some money for a new laptop and I've seen one I like in JL, which has been reduced, but I can't decide whether to get it now or wait to see if I get a better deal in the sales. I've put it in my basket and left it, just in case they decide to send me a voucher!

slimyslitheryslug · 13/12/2017 14:40

Playmobil family fun cruise ship down to £54 on Amazon which is its lowest ever price according to CamelCamel. It's usually around £75. I am trying not to twitch... Not only is still a lot of money but I don't know if we physically have room for it in the house
