A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

Scrunched tissue paper? Could turn it in to postal beauty box - naive box loads of tissue and a ribbon?

Cupoteap · 12/12/2017 06:11

Dragon maybe a few of the smaller sets then? There's so many, is he into anything g like Star Wars or avengers that they do sets of?

LostMyRubySlippers · 12/12/2017 06:16

woodwaj you used to be able to as I def have in the past but think they’ve changed it as I tried last week & it wouldn’t let me use the bday code on things that were even slightly reduced

ReindeerPoop · 12/12/2017 06:57

I'd like to put a nice (maybe metal) water bottle in DCs stockings. Something like Chillys bottles but without the £15 price tag... any ideas? Flowers

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 12/12/2017 07:07

reindeerpoop I’ve several chillys and I bought an Asda one in the summer for about £6 and was pleasantly surprised how good it was!

My chillys bottles do keep it colder a little longer (16h to Asda’s 10h roughly) but the Asda one was definitely far better then I thought it’d be! Alternatively if you do a bit of fiddling about you can often get a chillys bottle cheaper on amazon if you take the time to look at the different colours (my green one was £10 this way) and the new and used section

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 12/12/2017 07:08

Card factory currently have some absolutely lovely gift boxes v reasonably priced if anyone’s looking for a gift bag alternative!

NoMudNoLotus · 12/12/2017 07:16

Hooray!!

The echo dot is back down to £35 on Amazon!

imip · 12/12/2017 07:18

Thank-you for the Chilly’s review! I’ve been meaning to fine out more about these type of water bottles. Anyone tried the Smash water bottles? They are £12 in Sainsburys. Since starting back at the gym, I’ve resurrected my 12 yr old, well-beaten Sigg bottle. My kids keep knocking it for sport and now, yet again, I face giving them something way more fancier than I’ll ever have!.

imip · 12/12/2017 07:19

They Knick it, not knock it!

spellingstress · 12/12/2017 07:29

mud - Echo Dots also down to £34.99 at Very, so if you open a new account and get the 10% first order reduction (with code LXJUD), this goes down to around £31.50 😁

pollyhampton · 12/12/2017 07:49

Does anyone know if the Echo is likely to go down in price before Christmas? Have decided to get one instead of the Dot but not sure when to hold out to!

woodwaj · 12/12/2017 07:56

Thanks Ruby that's disappointing isn't it

Paddington bear back in stock at m&s for £12

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 12/12/2017 08:04

Gin offer from Beer52 attached.

Polly - I'd like to know the answer to that too. We bought 3 Echo dots (from Very) last night and I would have bought an Echo too if they were reduced.

I forgot the key information in my midnight post - they will be a Christmas present for me from DH, hence the relevance to this thread Blush

ProseccoandPizza · 12/12/2017 10:08

Hot Wheels ultimate garage is down to £42 today on Amazon Lightening deals! RRP is £80 odd.

PiePieChickenPie · 12/12/2017 10:15

Ooo I've just bought the Christmas Radio Times and Tv Times in Tesco. Not a bargain unfortunately but a necessary Christmas expense in this house.
It was £8 in total for the two - Eek! But it's very exciting! DC will be marking what they'd like recorded after school today and they'll continue to leaf through them daily. I'm forbidden to peek until they've been presented with them Xmas Grin

Scoleah · 12/12/2017 10:32

BeaLola · 12/12/2017 10:49

The PurpleGirl sorry I have no Boden voucher but code NNG7 gets you 20% off items including those already reduced

ThePurpleGirl · 12/12/2017 11:09

@BeaLola thank you! Makes it a bit more palatable. I don’t know why but I have a real hang up about spending money on things for myself, even when it’s DH’s money I’m spending on his behalf!

CarrotVan · 12/12/2017 11:20

@rjnomore1 I got my Great British Food gift which was a very good bottle of Italian wine

No sign of the magazine though Hmm

Fuckingfuckssake · 12/12/2017 11:45

Hello, I'm planning on taking my DD 5 to her first Build A Bear workshop when we visit Edinburgh next week, are there any deals or vouchers we can use in store or is it only online? Never set foot in one in my life. Also I have a code for £20 off a £50 spend at Adidas if anyone would like it.

AgnesBrownsCat · 12/12/2017 11:58

Tyrell Katz has free delivery with DELFREE

I got some bargains in Poundland today. Hotwheels star wars die cast spaceships for £1 each and small Lego Ninjago and Nexus Knights bagged sets for £2 each. My local store had loads of the lego sets. Both will make great stocking fillers. Might be worth popping in to a store if you are near one.
