Thread 19 - loling with our fingerlings

Reastie · 05/12/2017 18:51

A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

Thank you for the reminder for the Gund offer. I placed two separate orders to get the free toy for each of my dc.

onedayatatime73 · 06/12/2017 13:28

Do I need to "set up" the fingerling or does it work out of the box?

Spam88 · 06/12/2017 13:56

20% off full price toys from ELC with code TOYS20

SomethingOfTheNight · 06/12/2017 14:08

Could I some "bulking out " suggestions please for my 13 yr old ds? I seem to have amassed mountains of lip balms, bath bombs and such like for my girls, but not much for him other than books, bit of smelly stuff and a stupidly priced xbox game. Ideally around £8ish .

HouseworkIsASin10 · 06/12/2017 14:14

Jenni2legs Thanks for the tip, just ordered for DD.

I really need to stop looking at this thread now!

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/12/2017 14:29

Who actually buys chocolate bumholes? I can't think of a single person I would contemplate giving that to!

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/12/2017 14:30

something How about a gaming magazine?

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/12/2017 14:31

Some nice gloves? A manly lip balm? (scent free or minty maybe?)

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 06/12/2017 14:59

SomethingoftheNight - how about edible stuff (like Marshmallow Fluff, Reece's), popcorn container and popcorn with a DVD, Guinness Records Book Gamers Edition( £4 at Tesco Direct), drawstring sports kit bag, neck pillow for travel, earphones

ThePurpleGirl · 06/12/2017 15:18

@chocolatepudandchocolatesauce Thank you!

justkeeponsmiling · 06/12/2017 15:32

@ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual thank you, I might just go ahead and order and get a treat for myself after xmas Grin

Casablanca78 · 06/12/2017 16:09

@ThePurpleGirl - it's officiallondontheatre.com
If you click on the menu and select tick promotions and then new year sale

BrawneLamia · 06/12/2017 16:15

Has anyone seen any bargains on a lego set for a 5 year old? She is quite a girly girl so would probably like something pink or princessy. Budget around £15-20.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 06/12/2017 16:18

oneday it works straight from the box, has a paper instructions telling you how to make the fingerling do each thing.

gund is good, I placed 2 orders within a couple of days and I got an extra free magnet with each! definitely one I will order from again.

i was real life shopping today, not very inspiring but a few things I found.

tkmaxx had lots of book box sets at reasonable prices. and quite a few busy books including olafs frozen adventure which I hadn't seen before. also bought a despicable me unicorn plush backpack for £6.99

primark - managed to find a pusheen Christmas top for £6 dd will pretty much explode with excitement. bought her a size 4 (she's 9 and normally in 9-10)

poundland - had a selfie magnifying lens and lots of elf stuff. also chocolate oranges, matchstick, malteasers selection box. they also had the Cadbury classic selection box for £5.

now I need your help, I'm getting married in January and I have a corset but am trying to find a white swing skirt in a size 10 - plain preferably tulle material. I'm starting to get a bit desperate now 😬

Llamacorn · 06/12/2017 16:30

Thanks reastie, checking in.

Been back in hospital again, completely lost any hope of Christmas spirit this year I think.

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts I've bought lovely tulle skirts from asos before, they have this one in, Is that the sort you are looking for?

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/12/2017 16:36

Bit of a weird one... Organicup menstrual cups are doubling all orders using code xmas17
Basically bogof on menstrual cups - might be good of you know someone who'd like to try one and you do too?

BrawneLamia · 06/12/2017 17:05

Whyami I might go for that myself, not sure who else I would give a menstrual cup to - it would make an interesting secret santa gift Grin.

SomethingOfTheNight · 06/12/2017 17:23

Thank you whyami and specialagent, travel pillow would be really useful for him as he always insists on sitting in the middle in the back of the car and obviously doesn't then have a window that he can snooze against Xmas Grin. Manly lip balm good too as I'm convinced he doesn't drink enough as he always has dry lips. Confused.

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 06/12/2017 17:30

@Notso, glad to have helped. You can't do a festival without wellies!

@AdmiralClingus, sorry to say you've missed the only pre-Christmas double up. 😢

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/12/2017 17:31

If he doesn't drink enough what about a fancy water bottle like a camelback or something?

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/12/2017 17:32

brawne laughing here at the idea of someone being very confused opening their secret santa gift Xmas Grin

Penguinbeaver · 06/12/2017 17:35

nocuts have you looked at Lady V of London?

Jenni2legs · 06/12/2017 17:37

Can somebody explain the Gund offer? I've scrolled through the last thread but have Gund blindness

HoneyDragon · 06/12/2017 17:53

Getting comfy, still need stocking fillers and hoping for an illusion gift voucher code discounts

Reastie · 06/12/2017 17:54
