I placed an order with La La Land on Black Friday but have yet to have a dispatch email or hear anything (says 1-2 days to dispatch on the site) - did anyone else order around then? I'm thinking perhaps since the site was linked to on here they might have had more orders that usual and be a bit behind but not sure

Anyone seen any offers on Costa Coffee cards- was hoping to add to Bridgewater mugs as TA gifts.

And sort of related does anyone know if all Costo Coffee outlets take the gift cards ? Was thinking of loading one up for friend who is visiting Mum at University College Hospital in London having chemo treatment save her keeping looking for change and according to website there is a Costo outlet there. thank you

Could be Christmassy or not but ideally decent quality and not very thin material.

Ideally £20 or less and bonus marks for long sleeves though 3/4 sleeves would be ok!
Don't mind if it's a good price anyway or could get that way with a code or voucher!

ive used a costa gift card at eurotunnel before fine, not that its anything like hospital but just saying they can be used outside high street stores

Does anyone have any thoughts on Nerf guns? My DS is five and is really keen on one for Christmas. We have previously had a no toy gun policy in the house as I am very anti, but with him now at school I am increasingly thinking that maybe I am making more of an issue of it than is necessary. I'm worried if I make it "forbidden" it will become even more desirable.

So, two questions:
Is five too young for this kind of toy?
If not, does anyone have any recommendations? Are there any which are more gentle than others? :/

Bealola I’d give them a call just to be safe. I’ve been in one costa coffee outlet (within a hotel) and they didn’t take them.

Our costa in a hospital doesn’t do loyalty cards either. I second calling them directly.

Bea - you could (or get your DC to) make a “coffee fund” jar or envelope or container - decorate it etc and put in a tenners worth of pound coins, 50ps, 20ps.

Bill we are anti guns... but have somehow acquired a stash of nerf guns Blush. Ds was first given one by a friend when he was about 5 and gradually increased his collection. He really loves playing with them with his sisters and friends and I feel they are harmless enough.
