I really enjoyed Bad Mom's Christmas and thought it was really funny - same language and crude humour as the original, which I fully appreciated, but then I have a bit of a potty mouth! Well worth a watch.

mammyaroundmadness it might be worth risking it then!

The flying tiger online catalogue is showing lots of unicorn related stuff and a cheap advent calendar you fill yourself.

toots and Mister the SOS tins are just over 8.5cm by just over 2cm.
Here's a pic for scale.

I've moved hospital rooms and have much better wifi!! I've missed you all and your wonderful barganous ways!

I need some budget ideas for dd1 who's 15. She has very expensive tastes and I'm struggling to find anything to sort of bulk her presents up with iyswim. It's her birthday in 2 weeks too, she loves make up but is very fussy and all high end stuff. Its exhausting! I have some body sprays, slippers & house coat but can't think of much else.

I need to get out of here and get my bum in gear! At least I can shop online for now so any ideas please send my way Smile

llama - I have a very expensive 14 year old and am struggling with what to get.
An idea I heard on here once (for if they have asked for money) and I might do this year is to wrap £10/£20 notes in with little token gifts.
I have been wondering about an Echo Dot...
I’m also thinking about getting her a naked marshmallow toasting kit as they make gorgeous gifts she she’ll probably love it!

RJnomore1 · 01/11/2017 19:12

Expensive teenagers? I have one of those llama.

Things that have gone down well for bulk in the past:

A blanket or fleece throw
Cushions
Does she have a music pillow? About £15 tops and the best thing I ever bought dd
Big bath set - there's usually a god soap and glory one about £20 in the 3 for 2 in boots
A marvel print canvas for her room
Storage for her vast makeup collection

Any good?

The Naked roasting kits were a huge success with my dc last year - ages 8 to 16. The eldest suggested we get one for their cousin who is also 16!

Mine love their Asda fluffy fleece blankets too, plus I get them a CD, DVD, iTunes voucher, book (this year I’ve got them an audio book set each from the book people).

I’ve decided against gift sets of toiletries for this year and will get each of them a shower gel, shampoo, sponge/flannel/scrubber based on their favourites.

Dc1 (the 16yo) is getting concert tickets as her main present - Jake Bugg?

I bought a toasting kit for my sister and it did look amazing!

Other things on my list are a light box, Spotify and a Costa voucher.
