@cowssheephens thanks for letting me know about the camera. Last year was so hard, its bringing back memories as we approach the date of her admission and I'm tying not to freak out. I just want DD to have a good time this year, at home,in her own bed.

BBBBQ26YH1F6 for 40% off gap

BettysCandle · 01/11/2017 10:16

@sixp - search for "John Lewis Mini Sewing Machine, Dusty Pink" it's £59 :)

PunkAssMoFo · 01/11/2017 10:17

Toots could you make your own and fill it with stuff she’d like?

Something like this:

Toots38 · 01/11/2017 10:23

@PunkAssMoFo that's a great idea, thanks.

ProseccoandPizza · 01/11/2017 10:46

The chip cup from Asda is available to order now. To be collected from in store from Tuesday 14th onwards for £5. Can’t find the B&M version and I’ve checked over 5 stores!

Toots38 · 01/11/2017 10:50

Would the SOS tins fit in a small bottle inside them? I was thinking about making emergency skin packs for my girlfriends, including the ordinary peel solution ( which is amazing) , the bottle dimensions are 10 cm height and 4 cm width - could someone who has a tin check for me please? Thanks x I know it a big ask!

DillieDoily · 01/11/2017 10:54

Thanks RJ- I’m very excited about the M&S advent calendar and have terrible fear I might miss it

Thanks to you lovely posters I checked my email and found a £10 Argos voucher with no minimum spend! It’s for online use only- does anyone know if I have to use it for home delivery or Can I do the pay and collect from store option?

cookiefiend · 01/11/2017 11:02

Who needed a red stocking with a white initial on it? Have you seen m and s here?

PunkAssMoFo · 01/11/2017 11:17

Thanks prosecco it seems to be home delivery only in Asda though. So I had to take advantage of their 25% off boots and knitwear offer to make the delivery cost worthwhile!

Annwithnoe · 01/11/2017 11:34

I know it's not very Christmassy but I need to find bargainous minecraft party favours. I was thinking something like a blindbag each (which the kids would probably appreciate) rather than a random bag of tat but I can't find them for less than £5 each faints bookkpeople have a set of 6 books for £6 I thought I could divide up but they are oos
Drawing a blank on this one. The kids are sophisticated 9 year olds so I don't think my homemade favours will cut it anymore and I don't have time to wait for the showboat from China.

bluesky · 01/11/2017 11:52

DillieDoily if you go onto the M&S website, you can ask them to let you know when the calender is out!

DillieDoily · 01/11/2017 12:30

Perfect thank you Bluesky

Casablanca78 · 01/11/2017 12:38

I saw on the Hamleys list of top ten toys for Christmas list there is a game called "Get a Grip" where you seem to have to do activities without using your thumbs. Has anyone got this and played it? Sounds fun but after last years craze for "Speak Out" which I thought was a puke of cr*p, I'm wary if this is just another faddy rubbish game? Thank you

Casablanca78 · 01/11/2017 12:40

Did anyone get an Aldi wine advent calendar? I tried at 8.30am but all sold out already online! (Went on sale 8am)

LBOCS2 · 01/11/2017 12:44

Shit! I was in Aldi at 9am today!

I didn’t spot it though...

imsorryiasked · 01/11/2017 12:45

@annwithnoe try searching for "pixel" or "tnt" party supplies instead of minecraft. Won't be licenced stuff but may be close enough to keep 9yo happy.

Ilikesweetpeas · 01/11/2017 12:50

Not Christmassy but sainsburys have the Halloween costumes down to £3. Just outfitted the DC for next year!

Fastnotfurious · 01/11/2017 12:51

Anyone thats looking for Luvabella dolls, Amazon currently have the blond doll back in stock. Hurry though, despite looking like a friend of Chucky’s, they probably won’t be around for long.

autumnintheair · 01/11/2017 12:59

ilIKE I wonder if you were in same shop as me circling the two 11 - 12 dresses available?!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 01/11/2017 13:10

Thanks @peachy94 I managed to get two sports bras for £20!

WhyamIBoredathome · 01/11/2017 13:25

Was the aldi wine calendar defo in store today? Their special buys are usually Thursday and Sunday so would be a bit odd if they came out in store on a Wednesday? They go up for sale online a while before they are stocked in store usually so maybe not due in stores until tomorrow or Sunday?

handmademitlove · 01/11/2017 13:32

Fingerlings in stock online at Smyths

cookiefiend · 01/11/2017 13:33

Those looking for matcha green tea this is at its best price on amazon £10 for 50g (Still Xmas Shock)

Tea might make a nice wee stocking filler for DH etc.

I need a gift for DN age 6. Budget about £15. Got her older sister a great science set. She loves making things and I wondered about Meccano or knex or something. I don't know which would be best. She doesn't have Lego or anything like it. Does anyone have any sets they would recommend?

Thanks

BettysCandle · 01/11/2017 13:35

I'm after Zomblings if anyone spots good deals :)
