Whoever was asking about cloud pets, they work well for us. I have the app on my phone and I can record messages which the pet then will say when you press it. Other people can have the app and sync it to the cloud pet for dds grandparents could also leave messages too but they never do . We don't tend to use it a lot but that's more us than the actual function of the item iykwim. Dd likes to play on repeat me singing her a message it's really annoying but she loves it

Bitten the bullet and ordered DD2 a 'Fingerling playgym with 2 monkeys' from Argos for £30.
It seemed a reasonable price given that the monkeys are £15 each....and now I can relax, knowing that I have a couple of the elusive creatures. Phew!
