Bigarse your DD sounds like my DD1 and I was trying to think what she was into at that age. I don't know if she has any of the Nick Sharratt books where he retells nursery rhymes? They come with a CD as well and are funny and irreverent. If you get some puppets they can then reenact the stories with the CD. This one is the three little pigs. It is very similar to what we did in some of our language therapy but it was fun. Also You Choose by the same author is great for speech stuff as it starts discussions about what you like but in a controlled way. I'll try to think what else she liked - some have already been mentioned.
