If anyone has a Rituals store near them they are offering a free full size shower foam if you sign up to receive their newsletter. You can order online but need to pay £2.99 delivery.

Thanks Carrie for finishing the thread.

Re blublu, dd was desperate for this last year after seeing it on an advert. It's big and she never played with it! We ended out getting rid of it within 4 months (which is unheard of for dd as she's a hoarder of toys!). Although realise it's pretty impossible to talk a child out of something they are convinced they want!

I notice mn swears by email has as what Mners have been buying this week as hotel chocolat tasting club boxes for £9.95. We've all been getting them for £6.95 right? Just should you see the email and think about getting it for £9.95, we can beat it!

Thanks for new thread. Can’t get PH36 to work on Debenhams toys- anyone else having trouble?

SnowBodyforrrrm · 19/10/2017 20:46

I haven't caught up yet today so sorry if there are any duplicates here. I had quite a successful trip to Sainsbury's. Some of the stuff is definitely cheaper elsewhere Confused but I had my phone out so only got what was worth it. I found a few nice gifts that weren't discounted but as I'm struggling for my boys stockings (6&10) I bit the bullet and went for them.

They had some lovely shark and mermaid gifts. I got my son this lovely shark tail blanket. It was £12 but looks dearer. I got a coordinating water bottle with wallet (£7) and a test tube puzzle for £2.50.

I got my eldest son a cool hammer shaped multi tool for £10 and some hilarious family jokes for £3.50. I also picked up so great movie style tickets, the idea being he can exchange them for movie and popcorn nights.

I also got myself a great hydrate bottle which has times on it to encourage me to drink as well as a towel inside, some hairbands and a trolley token key ring, it would make a really nice gift for a teen for £8.

I picked up a Disney carry and go castle which fits the snap on princesses which my girls love! This was down to £17.50.

I picked up the obligatory blind bags 🙄 And also some playdoh which was good value. The glittery set was £3.99 and the normal set was £1.99.

TheImprobableGirl · 19/10/2017 20:50

Yep @insertimaginativeusername - have you seen one lurking??

Placemarking! But also reastie I kept trying to get the hotel chocolat for £6.95 and could never get a link that worked - if anyone can put one I'd love it please!!

SnowBodyforrrrm · 19/10/2017 20:52

Wow triple post! Sorry 😳

Llamacorn · 19/10/2017 20:57

Bannoffeepie - are you ordering more than £25 of toys from Debenhams for the code to work?

Minster - took me so long to get a hotel choc link to work, all mine came up as 9.95 or page not found. You have to use www.hotelchocolat.com/invitedfriend

But be careful when you open the link it adds more to the URL after /invitedfriend - so you have to delete anything after that or type in the address yourself, hope that makes sense?

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 19/10/2017 21:00

I’ve got a 15% off code for Lily O’Briens chocolates online - LILY15 on www.lilyobriens.com

Is the amazon echo/dot worth it if they already have a Bluetooth speaker? Is Alexa useful enough to warrant it?

Whattodowithaminute · 19/10/2017 21:04

Carrie76 · 19/10/2017 21:14

Also meant to say thanks for the new thread reastie!

AgnesBrownsCat · 19/10/2017 21:15

So of course I couldnt resist the smiggle code , I was quite devious though and ordered three girls butterfly pencil cases in the sale for 5.?? each , then I went to the 5 for £5 section and ordered 3 each of notebooks, mechanical pencil sets and those multicoloured pens to go with the pencil cases and then an extra mechanical pencil set for DS stocking all for the grand total of £26 . So that's 2 nieces birthdays sorted and my friends daughters birthday . Pencil case alone is £12.50 so I'm delighted. I used Code FREE1017 for free delivery with a £20 spend so huge thanks to pp for posting . No more shopping for me tonight .

Polkadot1974 · 19/10/2017 21:15

Thanks for the new thread. Panicking about lack of time to order from Ali now. Got a few 925 silver jewellery bits so will see what they're like

insertimaginativeusername · 19/10/2017 21:18

@theimprobablegirl

I have one! Did post on the last thread but had no takers. Was about to return it tomorrow but it's yours if you still want one, I'm local to you.
