Lavender, I could do a NEXT referral for you?

bettythebuilder · 04/11/2016 00:01

Congrats on the thread baby, Dibdab!
IHeart another thanks for the Unfortunate Events Kindle info, I've put them on dd's Kindle.
Whatdoesaturkeydo, excellent, that could be dh's 'highlight' present this year... he doesn't need to know how little it cost Xmas Smile
ladylambkin did you get the Boots offer in store? I've just looked online for dm to buy for dd (it's dd's 14thbirthday on Christmas Day, so we have to think of twice as many presents, any ideas gratefully received!) and it said free gift oos but dm is going rl shopping tomorrow so could pop in to her local Boots.

Yellow Moon (arts and crafts stuff) have 15% off everything until Friday night. It says excludes sale stuff but almost everything in my basket was reduced and it still took 15% off when I put the code in. Happy days. So much glitter coming my way!

The code is on the webpage by the way.

SweetPeaPods · 04/11/2016 05:27

Hobby craft have the felt Christmas trees back in stock online

Duchessofealing · 04/11/2016 06:48

Coast have 25% off with the code CELEBRATE25 - nice for party dresses and accessories Smile

QuilliamCakespeare · 04/11/2016 07:15

Mermaid blankets are on Amazon Lightning Deals at the moment; I think someone was looking for one recently. They're on for the next three hours but 36% claimed so might not last that long.

Kirriemuir · 04/11/2016 07:16

Is there something wrong with Argos? It says 3:2 but nothing is showing when you click into the toys. Is it just me missing something?

woodwaj · 04/11/2016 07:16

Hedge im a first time Bodener (?) The voucher code goes on the page before you make a payment and the £15 off goes on the screen you enter your card details like a gift card. Hth

PamelaEwing · 04/11/2016 07:26

Re the Boden code. The discount taken off by vouchers often doesn't show up within the final total amount on the right hand side of the payment page even if it's been deducted. If you look on the left hand side of the payment page where you input the voucher code it should say in green "voucher applied" or whatever. I always have to double check that my discount has been applied before I click confirm payment, but it's always been correct and the voucher has always applied. HTH :)

Matilda2013 · 04/11/2016 07:59

I've checked mine in my trolley to make sure they're included Smile couldn't see the purple things though..

GlowWine · 04/11/2016 08:00

Anyone still waiting for their Beerhawk advent calendar? After I queried, got a prompt reply back saying they'd had a bit of a delay but we're despatching now and lo and behold, the box was waiting for me when I got home. It is rather big and heavy (obviously, with 24 bottles!), and does say Beerhawk on the outside in big letters. I have 'hidden' by leaving it in plain view ( see pic) but with a blanket draped over, because I really didn't want to lug it upstairs.

GlowWine · 04/11/2016 08:01

were despatching of courseBlush

BrieAndChilli · 04/11/2016 08:11

No purple splats and the 3-4-2 links gave me an error but when I put things in the trolley it took off the 3rd item.

LikeSilver · 04/11/2016 08:14

I got an 8 year old boy in the Met Office appeal. Is Lego a good call? My own kids are much younger!

SestraClone · 04/11/2016 08:32

I own an 8 year old boy, and yes to Lego!

Strawberryfield12 · 04/11/2016 08:44

Oh dear, the beerhawk are not shy with putting logo on their boxes. At least by the time it arrives there will be about a week left being questioned "what's that?" before DH gets it as part of birthday present.

Hedgyhoggy · 04/11/2016 09:27

Little Tikes helicopter disappeared in front of my eyes in the 3 4 2 at argos at 6.30 this morning!!! However, new Walliams and wimpy kid books for £5 in Sainsburys

Tiggles · 04/11/2016 09:29

People looking for Minecraft stuff, my 8 and 10 year olds are currently lapping up the Elementia Chronicles which are an unofficial minecraft fan story. They are currently in the 3 for £10 on Amazon which given they are £7 each in Waterstones and they are really thick (think last Harry Potter book size) is a really good deal.

KitKatCHA · 04/11/2016 09:31

K'Nex Deluxe building set reduced from £24.99 to £12 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CU65FOI/ref=nosim?tag=4938-21

Lapinlapin · 04/11/2016 09:50

Has anyone got any good or unique stocking filler ideas for a 3 and 6 year old? I'm really stuck this year. I've spent more on biggish presents this year, which is fine as it's for things they want and will play with, but it means I don't want to spend a fortune on stockings. I realised last year how quickly it all adds up!

Also we seem to be drowning in toys so it seems pointless buying things for the sake of buying. I don't really want to get any more 'party bag filler' type toys as it just seems a waste.

But I do actually love doing the stockings and they obviously love them too. I just need some good ideas for things to go in that will be either lots of fun or useful rather than just buying for the sake of it.
