ChoccyJules · 02/11/2016 20:44

woodwaj · 02/11/2016 20:48

Im off to look for books, poundland/world toys with a quick stop off at baker ross!

Loving the present lucky dip idea!

verytiredmummy1 · 02/11/2016 20:49

Thank you changing not sure what I'm doing wrong. It doesn't give the £10 off? :(

Atticmatic · 02/11/2016 20:52

Mipe thank you for the David Williams book tip. Ordered for DS1 who is a big fan. Smile

Toffeelatteplease · 02/11/2016 20:55

Mipe Thank you for the David Walliams book!!

Changingagain · 02/11/2016 21:00

verytiredmummy I'm not entirely sure, but I think you get a voucher after your first order is dispatched rather than one you can use for the first order.

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 02/11/2016 21:03

Does anyone know how Argos 3 for 2 will work. I need 6 things. Am I better off ordering the 3 most expensive and 3 cheapest separately? Do they do free click and collect? Nothing ever seems to be in stock locally...

EmGee · 02/11/2016 21:03

I am doing a calendar and need some codes ideally 50% off. I used Snapfish last year and managed to get a code around about this time. Please post if you see any! Doesn't have to be Snapfish. TIA

KitKatCHA · 02/11/2016 21:06

Chicco Pink Arrow Balance Bike, reduced from £34.99 to £16.95, just ordered one for my 2 year old.

FireflyGirl · 02/11/2016 21:21

Anyone thinking of ordering the Chicco bikes - either the one KitKat mentions above or the bullet bike earlier - just be aware that I ordered it yesterday and it was delivered today -- with absolutely no packaging ShockHmm. Luckily DS is only 19 months so he's oblivious but anyone with eagle eyed older DC BE AWARE

Mrsmadevans · 02/11/2016 21:26

Verytired I am so glad you found them helpful I posted it for you Happy Christmas lol

confuugled1 · 02/11/2016 21:32

Woodwaj nit sure if anybidy has suggested it and i can't fibf your post now but in the past I've done the pound footballs very successfully as party gifts - along with a slice of cake or sweets. Asda and poundland have them; often with non-foitball designs on if there are girls/boys that hate footie going. Woukd recommend taking a sharpie so you can name them as you hand them out so they dont get muddled (at the party or at school afterwards if dc can take them in)

Poundland usually have hotwheels cars for a pound too which can be a nice gift if the age group is right.

If you want to put several bits in, sports direct do tennis balls which have gone down well for about 30p, I've supplemented with some bubbles from poundland (box of 9 for a pound) and notebooks from poundland (several in a pack) that had blank covers that ds decorated for each person.

LostMyRubySlippers · 02/11/2016 21:37

emgee email from snapfish, large £20 calendars are buy one, get 2 free- code 3FOR1

LostMyRubySlippers · 02/11/2016 21:38

Think tesco photo may be half price too

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 02/11/2016 21:53

Thank you for the Works info - DS2 has been desperate for Prankipedia! Just ordered

confuugled1 · 02/11/2016 21:54

Seeing the sainsburys diaries recommended they also have nice desk scratch note pads that cost about a fiver (or about £1.50 if you time their clearance deals right!). I gave one to dh for a present several years ago when trying to make up a 3 for 2 in M&S but he has asked for it to be repeated and the sainsburys ones are fine (especiallt at £1.50 even if they do have pandas in odd glasses on but have splashed out on a nice masculine one for a present!).

They also now have a pad with mon - sun marked on it to fill up which I'm finding useful to keep on track with the dc and he is finding useful as something not as formal as a diary.

gaggiagirl · 02/11/2016 22:06

able b&m have loads of character cups, mugs, water bottles etc.

SmileAndNod · 02/11/2016 22:07

Albelli photo calendars are also 50% off. I've spent this evening swearing at the laptop putting together calendar for the grandparents

Mummytron · 02/11/2016 22:10

I'm after Merida magiclip if anyone sees one. Ridiculous prices on Amazon!

Any ideas for table presents for Christmas day? Always do a scratch card but like to do something quirky. Last time everyone got an oversized inflatable something (mobile phone, saxophone, flamingo) such fun! Grin

KitKatCHA · 02/11/2016 22:11

I know not everybody likes it, but Lucy the Dog has 40% off at Amazon at the minute Smile

KitKatCHA · 02/11/2016 22:17

Thanks for the tip Firefly, mine's coming tomorrow so I'll have to stash it round the side so she doesn't see it. What are they thinking sending with no packaging!

Haudyerwheesht · 02/11/2016 22:48

howmanysleeps you get the cheapest thing free when it goes through checkout (either online or in store), it's easiest ime to do it in 2 different reservations of similarly priced items .

You can reserve from stock in store - I think tomorrow you'll be able to reserve until end of Friday BUT only if it's in stock at your chosen store. Otherwise sometimes it gives you the option to order it in which is fine but it isn't always in during the 342 offer.
