Can anyone recommend gifts for an artist for about £10-£20 please? They are very experienced so nothing for beginners. Struggling to find anything!

PathOfLeastResitance · 02/11/2016 12:59

Just had a look on their website and it's not there anymore but they do have others if you search 'torch'.

PiePieChickenPie · 02/11/2016 13:13

Book people big Christmas book bundle deal on now until 2pm for £25.

HighDataUsage · 02/11/2016 13:17

Firstly, the Works has upto 20% off over a £10 spend using the code BOOM20 (this is availablle just for today 02/11/16) and chalk pens are available for £2 for a pack of 3 pens.
Secondly, Toys r US are giving £15 gift coupon if you spend £100 or over (t & c's apply.
Finally, I want some advice on the leap frog tablet as my dd has asked for one for her birthday. It's not until after Christmas so should I wait for the January sales and hope for a bargain or buy now in case they sell out? Many thanks.

kavvlar could you join up with other family members and buy your nephew a group present of driving lessons? Maybe other family/friends are struggling with ideas on what to buy him so instead of endless stuff a joint gift of 10 or so driving lessons would be very useful for him.

Buttercupsandaisies · 02/11/2016 13:31

My order from www.ce-uniquedesigns.com arrived today....it's fab and dd will love it!

Highly recommend - I got a naughty calendar for my secret Santa too!

Well just had my best bargain so far ... despite never having bought anything from Boden in my life, I received a £15 voucher with no minimum spend, plus 20% off and free delivery. So just ordered myself a nice travel mug (I've been after one for ages but not got round to actually buying one) and it was absolutely free Grin

Tiggles · 02/11/2016 13:40

Sainsbury's halloween stuff all still currently 50% off. Ours has helpfully split it into about 6 different locations around the shop so thought they didn't have what I wanted to start with.
Managed to get big bags of glowsticks reduced from £10 to £5 (think someone was looking for some before).
They also had some toys very reduced (not sure if just our store) e.g. a Lego City rescue helicopter was done from £40 to £20.

Unluckycat1 · 02/11/2016 13:59

Thank you for the playmobil codes, I wasn't going to get the kids toy advent calendars this year thinking that maybe they are a bit excessive and we have lovely home made ones that get filled with chocolate, but I've cracked and I'm sure they will be super excited (plus they get one each for the first time!)

Nzou1050 · 02/11/2016 14:13

Thanks pathofleastresistance will check it out.

OneoftheseBoxes · 02/11/2016 14:17

torches for kids that also project things

Natural History Museum have a dino or museum exhibits one. If you go on the website you should get a popup box for 15% off when you sign up to their mailing list:

www.nhmshop.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=torch

Amazon have a space projector torch for £5 delivered with Prime

LemonLime11 · 02/11/2016 14:24

Excellent price for this red Chicco Bullet balance bike reduced from £34.99 to £16.95

winewolfhowls · 02/11/2016 14:26

Thanks for the playmobil codes, bought police station and also a police helicopter that was already on sale and codes stacked fine.

Also bought spy and headtorch for child (think that the UV torch is supposed to make the little man light up) for less than a fiver (is 14 quid on amazon!)

Topman have 20% off with code BIG20 until tomorrow for any tricky DS's

Lolly12 · 02/11/2016 14:50

If ordering from the Works make sure you go via Quidco if you use it, as they are offering 21% cash back at the moment. With their other deals and Boom20 code it's a big junk off order total. They've got a few decent items on the two for £10 deal that are handy to put away for kids birthday parties.

PixieMiss · 02/11/2016 15:05

Topman do a good range of Hype bagpacks too!

1stTimeMama · 02/11/2016 15:07

Can anyone remind me about the Trouva offer please? Was it a referral? I think it was £20/25 off a £50 spend, which I can easily do!

IHeartKingThistle · 02/11/2016 15:12

The works have never honoured my topcashback when also using one of their codes - do they do it for quidco?

PamelaPatricia · 02/11/2016 15:19

Try Quidco for cashback from The Works. I have always used codes and always received generous cashback. Don't forget that The Works also offer a points card.

ToastyFingers · 02/11/2016 15:41

Hello!

I've been lurking a while and have had some fab bargains! Thanks!

If anyone wants a next referral pm me.

verytiredmummy1 · 02/11/2016 15:51

Sorry to ask again. Any ideas on where to get cheaper gift cards? Had problems with zeek so looking for an alternative x

GerrardWinstanley · 02/11/2016 15:52

Has anyone had their Beerhawk advent calendar delivered yet? Just wondering if it's obvious what it is? I've made a boo-boo and it will be delivered when DH is home Blush

yumyumpoppycat · 02/11/2016 15:55

Not 100% sure but I think the works only do cashback if quidco/ TCB have your bacs details, and I havent put mine on the account as I cant understand why they need this when other companies are ok with paypal.

whatnextfred · 02/11/2016 16:23

Got the mermaid blanket and the hotel chocolate advent calendar via quidco. Thanks all
