I think it's shocking that Hush are asking you to close your PayPal disputes, presumably on the hope they mess your refund up less than the rest of your experience Hmm.

I have another perspective on that playhouse Afreshstartplease

We have an older version. It was secondhand when we got it and has proved pretty durable, all things considered. Yes, it's tiny, but I don't think this is a necessarily a bad thing if it's going to be used in a bedroom/sitting room etc. Our DC are 6 and 8 now, and still somehow manage to both squeeze into it. Plus, despite having a large pop up tent, a proper tree house and a large fully furnished playhouse in the garden, it still gets dragged out fairly often, especially when it's cold and dark outside!

This photo shows the one we have, complete with a few children (not mine!) for scale. We have the 3-piece kitchen, but none of the other furniture, and our DC tend to 'close ours' up and crawl into it.

I think the DC were about 2 and 3.5 when we got it, but I think they've always used it as a play on knees type toy, so I'd probably only consider it if you have a carpeted room or large rug to use it on. I've replaced a few supports over the years, but nothing major.

The only real downside is that whilst it does pack down small, it can be a bit of a nightmare remembering where all the poles go if there's been a few months between assembling it. My top tip is to label them; something I wish I'd done much sooner!

I forget who posted about Pokemon Go, but they have now sold out. Missed them as I was doing RLS today - pretty foolish off me to try this with my two in tow though. Ended up buying them both the Primark Pokemon onesies as early Christmas presents (there are lots in the Edinburgh store). 😕
Also opened a dispute with PayPal re Hush.

Pink am interested in sweets too as I have to source sweets for grabber and not sure what to get. I need them individually wrapped but not so heavy they won't be picked up by the grabber. Wondering if little Haribo packs will be too heavy?

Thanks wheresthecoffee I'm looking forward to my red bag. My gh bowls arrived today but the box was a bit damaged so I may have to keep them for myself what a shame

Also regarding sweets - ds is having a Harry Potter film night with friends for his 10th birthday. I'd like to give them themed sweets but they're extortionately priced - does anyone know where I could buy paper sweet bags which could have 'Bertie botts every flavour beans' on? Or similar? Then I could add the beanboozled type jelly beans which are much cheaper??

Thekidsthatpukedxmas · 25/10/2016 18:55

If anyone needs a kids kitchen, this one if selling for £50 (it's a glitch so not sure whether it will last)

With the code EEQA it's taking off £100 bringing it down to £50!!!

I am planning on escalating it to PayPal if they don't refund me first. I agree that they have gone from an aspirational brand that I thought one day I could afford to a fucking nightmare of a company I wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

pantherfootballforever · 25/10/2016 18:58

Haudyerwheesht hobbycraft and homebargains both sell paper sweetie bags and I reckon you could put them through your printer and print on them yourself.

Badders123 · 25/10/2016 18:58

Perfume bought from the Fragrance shop, 20% off until 9pm tonight! Big saving, as a result of that purchase I now have a use once code for 10% off Thorntons chocs that I won't use, if anyone wants it let me know.

RoastieToastieReastie · 25/10/2016 19:27

Sleep how long are you giving then before escalating it with PayPal? (I don't even know how to escalate it!).

THOSE THAT HAVE ORDERED FROM HUSH AND NOT RECEVIED ORDERS PLEASE CHECK PALPAL OR YOUR BANK AS YOU MAY NOT HAVE BEEN REFUNDED

For sweets pick and mix is currently half price in all wilko stores. Meaning you can fill the extra large cup for £2. If your clever about how you fill the gaps you can get a huge amount in there.

ReindeerPoop · 25/10/2016 19:46

Gutted that the hot wheels advent has been reduced as I paid full price a couple of weeks ago Angry Sad

ReallyShouldKnowBetterAtMyAge · 25/10/2016 19:48

Hotel Chocolat tasting box arrived today but I can't work out how to cancel further boxes online, can anyone help?

DandelionAndBedrock · 25/10/2016 19:49

Poundland has 'metallic' acrylic paint in at the moment (in festive colours). I bought a few tubes and have spent an hour or so painting the different pieces of the little wooden Ikea tree.

£20 all in and would keep children quiet for half a day in the holidays - it would probably look quite nice with collaged offcuts of Christmas wrapping paper.

TheDrsDocMartens · 25/10/2016 19:50

Primark has a load of new Harry Potter stuff in. Got HP converse style trainers for £8. Also fluffy pjs.

Unicorn people they also had toothbrushes with unicorns 90p for 3.

kennythekangaroo · 25/10/2016 19:53

I couldn't find Harry Potter pyjamas at Asda a PP mentioned. But did find girls (9+) HP pyjamas and clothes at M and Co. There is a code- wish25 which gives 25% off and free delivery.

Pengweng · 25/10/2016 19:58

really i haven't received my box yet but i emailed them to ask them to cancel it as i could not find anywhere on their website about cancelling. They also said my box had been dispatched but would be here in 10 days!! Not sure why it takes so long.

ipswichwitch · 25/10/2016 19:59

John Lewis has a 20% off toy sale that's worth a look - quite a bit of playmobil there.

Asda aslo has a half price toy sale on. I've just ordered two playmobil advent calendars for £14 each (we're £19.99). The Lego Star Wars one was £24.99, now £19.99.

Oreocrumbs · 25/10/2016 20:04

Soooooo the hush fiasco continues..... did anyone else get this email today? Or am I an exception?

To clarify.... I have received my first order (tights) which I got from someone on here's link.

They cancelled my next 2 orders.... which I earned referral credit for by posting my own link on here, and I got the 'abuse' email. I didn't bother to appeal it. And then this!

Will wait to see if they actually send my orders...... But they don't like mumsnetters Shock an excellent attitude towards a group that they (I think) are paying to advertise too Hmm.

To.... not too!! Bad Oreo Blush

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 25/10/2016 20:11

Has anyone had an actual refund of their payments to Hush? I'll start charging them interest on my two pounds at this rate!

woodwaj · 25/10/2016 20:20

Wow! I didnt order from Hush but that email is bad! "You personally were not to blame" What a load of balls. They messed up!!

VoldemortsNipple · 25/10/2016 20:22

Mumsnet are supposed to be removing any mention of Hush as well as referrals. Anybody would think they didn't want bad publicity Grin
