Cupofchar · 25/10/2016 14:49

Sorry can't remember who, maybe carrot? But bnms have Pringle crackers in.

happyscrappy · 25/10/2016 14:59

Totally not a bargain (sorry!) but if anyone was waiting for Pokémon go plus to be back in stock, ninendo has some in now (£35 not the £80 people are flogging them on eBay for Shock!)

happyscrappy · 25/10/2016 15:00

Oops better link here!

postitnotes · 25/10/2016 15:08

More shoddy goods arriving! I bought the fabric bag for storing wrapping paper and bits in from Amazon, and it's got a hole in it and one of the velcro straps has been stitched in the wrong way up.

I feel bad about complaining because there's obviously a reason these Chinese goods are so cheap, but i wouldn't have picked it up and paid for it in a shop so i don't want to part with my cash.

postitnotes · 25/10/2016 15:15

Oops, my mistake! It didn't come from China. I seriously question the full price on Amazon at £12.99 though, it's not really worth the £4 I paid for it.

MumboNumber5 · 25/10/2016 15:17

I had the same hush/PayPal email - closed the case and still no refund (luckily only £2 but still annoying).
Hush have gone from a nice, aspirational, treat brand to one that is just awkward and annoying and mean, in my eyes.

AmyAmoeba · 25/10/2016 15:19

needyounow it has "farm puzzles " and "frog families" pictured for 24 Nov and I think they were to have a 3-in-1 set this Thursday in the special buys.

HerSpookyFattyness · 25/10/2016 15:20

I need help. Can anyone find me any dressing up costumes for my 1 year old son (18-24 month size or 2-3 years will do) he loves dressing up and is forever bringing me his sisters butterfly dress to wear. (I have some awesome pics Halloween Wink) so I want to get him some of his own for Christmas, but not the crappy ones from studio. (I've had them before for DS1 and they ripped really easily)

LikeSilver · 25/10/2016 15:20

coldilox I used your secret sales link, thank you. I'm hoping it worked for your credit as I'm on my phone!

AmyAmoeba · 25/10/2016 15:21

Aldi also have leather gloves on 6 Nov: I think someone mentioned gloves up thread? Sheesh, you'll all think I'm fixated on aldi!

SweetPeaPods · 25/10/2016 15:26

Asda have pink hatchimals for £45

SweetPeaPods · 25/10/2016 15:27

Her spooky have you tried sainsburys?

AmyAmoeba · 25/10/2016 15:33

herspooky I picked up some great costumes in the week or two after Halloween for the kids when they were small at great discounts. Might be worth waiting a few days. I haven't been paying attention specifically this year but shops like m&s , h&m and primark often have cartoon or movie character costumes in their Halloween stock that gets discounted, even though they aren't spooky as such. I picked up buzz light year, spider man, a lion costume and a bee costume a couple of years back. Not sure what's around this year though.

Apersonwithnoname · 25/10/2016 15:33

Went RLS yesterday to B&M. They had 'Make Your Own Hampers' at the front door, a light and dark brown colours. Lovely sized with the straw too. Smaller size (although still big for several food and drink bits) £4.99 and larger one £8.99.

They also had this lovely Hot Choc set with Mason Jar Mug for £2.99. It was super cute and a bit different than just a traditional mug.

Also picked up a couple of bars of Magnum chocolate for stocking fillers at £1 each.

Primark also have £2.50 Prosecco and Strawberry large tin candles near the till.

Went to Sainsbury's this morning and noticed the 25% off clothing. Wanted to get dd school tights but none in her size, and also have been waiting for 25% off to get dd a Star Wars costume but none there as they seem to have been pushed out for Halloween stock. So all in all quite unsuccessful. I did, however, get a Nutella jar that I can personalise.

Apologies for repeating sleeps hush Paypal drama which I too am having. I have replied saying I will not close the case until I have received a refund.

Postitnotes I think we bought the same wrapping paper bags from Amazon. Green and red? I bought two, only opened one so far and don't have any issues with the bag really (although very cheaply made) but it is supposed to hold about seven rolls of wrapping paper flat and held in place with velcro, but it doesn't work at all. No matter how you fix the velcro the paper rolls just bunch up in the bottom once you move the bag. Very disappointing, am considering going back to the Boots wrapping paper bag which I was using previously!

Badders123 · 25/10/2016 16:05

All blox at wilkos is half price (Lego compatible)
I got ds2 a velociraptor for his stocking for £1! Smile
They had lots of nice decs too so might go back nearer Xmas!

NorbertDentressangle · 25/10/2016 16:14

Seeing the mention of B&M reminded me.

DD bought some lovely glass mason jars with handles, lids and straws from B&M for 69p each (they're not on the website).

She's planning on customising them with different contents according to her friends interests - nail varnish, craft stuff like washi tape, sweets, face masks etc

Might be an idea for people's DC to do for friends or family.

lionsleepstonight · 25/10/2016 16:16

Thanks to this thread I have now finished ( excluding husband who is impossible to buy for...) my Xmas shopping! In October! I am amazed and delighted so thanks to anyone who's posted a deal. I feel like I bought them all. Now to just sit back and twitch......

ChocolateWombat · 25/10/2016 16:19

Last year Kindle Fire was down from £49 to £35 on Black Fri on both Amazon and in John Lewis.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 25/10/2016 16:20

DOES anyone know when Get Into London Theatrw starts or if I've missed it?

Am buying DM theatre tix so a saving would be grand!

SheStoodInTheStorm · 25/10/2016 16:32

Oh no! I looked at those wrapping paper bags as they sound great but after reading the Amazon reviews I decided against them.

VoldemortsNipple · 25/10/2016 16:34

afreshstart we had a Rose Cottage in nursery where I work. The little kitchen is only about 40cm high and the older children would have to sit on their knees and didn't have much space to play, especially if there was more than one in the house.

Don't get me wrong, it's very cute and I'm sure a 3 year old would love it but I just wonder how much use you would get out of it.

In my opinion, you would probably get more use out of a small 2 man pop up tent, sleeping bag and little fold up chairs for the same price

Apersonwithnoname · 25/10/2016 16:40

Spotted on HOTUKDEAL so can't take any credit for this but Hotwheels Advent Calendar now £15 at Tesco link
