Blue Trunki is reduced to £22.50 in our local Tesco, still £26 online so it may be a local thing.
Patterned Duck Tape is £2 in The Range

IAmAPal thanks for commenting on The Works dino game as I was going to buy it! Dodged a bullet there.

Checking in

GerrardWinstanley · 21/10/2016 18:53

woodwaj Thinking back to our childfree years together, a bottle of champagne was always a good present. Aldi Champers is usually around a tenner and gets fab reviews. Or I think Sainsbo's have had a multibuy offer on the last few years so you could combine it with some bottles of wine for you.
They can toast in the new year and then sleep in, the gits

Snooky17 · 21/10/2016 18:54

Placemarking tho I don't actually need anything but I can't miss a bargain .....

OhHolyFuck · 21/10/2016 18:54

All joining the "pissed off at hush" brigade Angry
Don't run a bloody promotion if you can't fufil it

glenthebattleostrich · 21/10/2016 18:54

I missed the hush controversy, was going to order a dress using the code but won't bother now.

d270r0 · 21/10/2016 18:55

My chalk pens arrived today- only ordered them yesterday and I don't have prime!

EvermoreEvermore · 21/10/2016 18:55

Hush - Owing to ongoing abuse of our refer-a-friend scheme...

Surely, they should have set a minimum spend or set a limit on referrals. An apologetic email that they got it wrong would go further than calling it abuse!

ChorusLine69 · 21/10/2016 19:00

Inthehighcastle, carrot and freezing - thanks so much for tea set recommendations, I'll check them all out ( sorry if I missed anyone else)

RoastieToastieReastie · 21/10/2016 19:04

Helpme I saw private eye annuals in Waterstones today and wondered about that for difficult to buy for men folk.

Badly it's the activity tracker I'm having issues with from iwoot too.

Sorry I missed the works stuff there admiral, please do repost if you don't mind and I'll try to add to list I'm doing really badly this year aren't I

Thanks to the person who gave a heads up about the free heat tech top from Uniqlo. I got mine today in Westfield (in a lovely pink!)

OrangeSquashTallGlass · 21/10/2016 19:33

'ongoing abuse of our refer-a-friend scheme...' Is such a ridiculously strong way to word it.

Two questions:

  1. Why don't they honor their orders like all other companies in similar situations?
  2. Why don't they come here and explain (as they already have links with mn)?
MammaGnomes · 21/10/2016 19:37

I'm looking for daft table presents. So far I have the reindeer hoop game (in order, fingers crossed) and elf yourself. As cheap and silly as possibly under £5 preferably game type things

Mummyshortlegz · 21/10/2016 19:40

toblerone ikea blankets / throws are good.

dementedma · 21/10/2016 19:40
