I bought my dd individual make up items from Primark.. those palettes/sets you can buy irritate me. She's got a nice Superdry make up bag (£10) for it all to go in

CarrotVan · 17/10/2016 16:06

I'm mostly done and the remaining things need to wait for payday as they are big items.

and yet I'm twitchy

Oreocrumbs · 17/10/2016 16:14

Ooh I also braved thebourside world and went shopping ....

Marks and spencer have 3 for 2 on their Christmas stuff including perfume sets (I'm a big fan of m&s perfume

Thorntons have their £7.50 boxes of chocolates on 5 for £20

Primark have loads of really nice pjs. I was only shopping for me not gifts but I love their 100% brushed cotton pjs £8 (ladies) and they have some really gorgeous designs, including good old fashioned red tartan if you want Christmassy.

Ikea..... not impressed with the Christmas stuff, I bought the winter candles they have a lovely smell, but decorations and wrapping wise I don't think it's worth the trip!

Millie2013 · 17/10/2016 16:17

Hello,
Has anyone bought the random mixes of shopkins on eBay? And if so, are they ok? Most seem to be shipped from china, but they're way cheaper than over here (I've just spent £2.50 on two of the flipping things) Grin
I know nothing about shopkins but DD has just got into them
TIA!

MooseyMoo · 17/10/2016 16:26

millie There are lots of fake Shopkins. I personally wouldn't buy them from China. Moose Toys is an American company so expect them to be fakes. If your DD is just starting out Argos have a 20 Shopkin Tube for £20. It's also on special 2 for £30.

Season 6 has just launched so not sure if Argos has season 5 or 6. I'll be checking instore this week. Season 5 had charms and the necklace only came with 5 or 12 packs iirc.

Sainsburys will have Shopkins in the Toy Sale on Wed with 20% off.

MooseyMoo · 17/10/2016 16:29

Sorry forgot Argos link to 20 pack tube

Also, I find Cookie Swirl C on YouTube useful for figuring out what is in the season. She does lots of unboxing clips

MooseyMoo · 17/10/2016 16:36

I meant to check before I posted but Moose Toys is an Australian company

Millie2013 · 17/10/2016 17:01

That's great, thanks Moosey, it's all very new to me!

wornoutboots · 17/10/2016 17:03

CarrotVan they had them in home bargains

monkeyfacegrace · 17/10/2016 17:06

McNo I must have a different email as there's no link on mine. I'll just be patient and wait....AngryGrin

Strawberryfield12 · 17/10/2016 17:15

I received dispatch confirmation from Hush, I ordered 2 pairs of tights as they have multibuy on some and with £10 off it felt like a good deal. Haven't tried to buy anything with my referral credit yet...

OutwardBound2016 · 17/10/2016 17:20

Palaeontologist - do you have the codes for Boden to hand? I would be very grateful Flowers

Whatsername17 · 17/10/2016 17:31

I've made the mistake of putting dd's stuff in a pile. It looks really small but I've spent a decent amount (not as much as it should have all cost - I've barging hunted). Dd is 5 and so far she has:
A secret diary visual
3 sets of lego friends kits
Kiddie superstar
A dress up outfit
Shoes and tiara
A dvd
Bunches set
Ticket to see The Twits at the theatre
Two mechano type sets that she loved when she saw the ones dh bought for his class.
Any ideas for little things that won't cost the earth?

Darkswan · 17/10/2016 17:42

I have had an email saying my hush tights have been dispatched, but not my other order.

ReallyShouldKnowBetterAtMyAge · 17/10/2016 17:42

FeelingSmurfy Flowers brilliant idea, I've just adopted a snow leopard for DD Smile

MooseyMoo · 17/10/2016 17:43

ReallyShouldKnowBetterAtMyAge · 17/10/2016 17:47

www.florencescoveljewelry.co.uk/collections/all?sort_by=best-selling&mc_cid=5a444f3b56&mc_eid=520280286b Florence Covel have a sale on with free delivery.

TryingtobePrepared · 17/10/2016 17:52

Someone has probably already said but John Lewis click and collect easies way round it is this. Minimum spend eg £35 want an item that's £20 buy other items to get over the free collection threshold and viola no fee. Items collected can be returned via the same method,so keep wanted item return whatever else you ordered. Haven't yet had the cheek to do it in one trip but can't see why you couldn't!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 17/10/2016 17:54

whatsher how about a tent? Has the wow factor if already put up - we have the ikea one was about £17 and is big enough for me and 2 dd's to sit in comfortably and can be folded down :)

Beanbag for her room?

Art tray - we have a plastic one from argos currently £7.99 dd's love theirs for lego/arts or colouring.

New bookbag/lunchbag for school that you may already be buying

Cd player and roald dahl audio books (reasonable on book people)

Busy books - £5 in supermarkets/Tkmaxx lots of characters available - dd's love little figures and these are cheapest way to get favourite characters (have bought them the corresponding dvds/books too for zootropolis and finding dory)

McNo · 17/10/2016 17:56

Hopefully yours will be there tomorrow... This is a screenshot of the email, I clicked on coupon code and it generated a code I could use on Amazon.

ScarlettDarling · 17/10/2016 17:58

Where has the hush referral thread gone?! It was on my 'threads I'm on' but no sign of it and no deletion message?

OutwardBound2016 · 17/10/2016 18:14

Thank you Moosey!

BeBesideTheSea · 17/10/2016 18:17

From my Sparks card: 20% off clothing, beauty and homeware at M&S with OCT16A25 valid 20-24 October.

QueenOfFuckAll · 17/10/2016 18:17

I read the title as Crocodile Dildo Blush

usernumber007 · 17/10/2016 18:28

Thank you for the imaginext hall of doom. Ordered for ds3.
Hoping to get some chalk pens tomorrow
My first hush order (£2 tights) I've heard nothing about but my second order with my referral credit has been dispatched. I hope they do dispatch, sure a few free tights and chocolates won't be as bad as the massive black mark against their reputation
