Rubbish title but I'm off to bed in a min (it's been one of those days).

As usual links are on post two.

If I've missed anything good (which could be very likely as I'm getting back to work mode atm) let me know.

Ikea or BigJigs train were good for us (and compatible with Wooden Thomas & Friends). You can usually get good bundles second hand on Ebay.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 18/09/2016 11:56

Agree with BigJigs. We get boxes of track there and then get extra one off bits of track from Wilko, like cross sections etc, and it all fits together.

Just spotted this Schelich Dinosaur Advent Calendar on another thread about Christmas ideas for boys...

Not particularly bargainous at £24 but if you had dc that loved dinosaur models and were buying for them anyway, might be worthwhile!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 18/09/2016 11:59

Just had one of my (many) boxes delivered, delivery person came through my gate shouting 'hello hello hello' as if expecting me to be waiting for him right at the threshold. Then instead of knocking on the door he shoved it through my kitchen window. I didn't even get the chance to get my arse of the sofa!

RJnomore1 · 18/09/2016 12:02

FeelingSmurfy · 18/09/2016 12:24

I have two codes for 20% off at the little white company London - send me a message if you want one

I also have 2 codes for 20% off at joules, both the same so I assume it's unlimited - PRINT

Both came with an order from the entertainer

FeelingSmurfy · 18/09/2016 12:30

Banoffee It doesn't see to work on the cupcake cases, they don't have the thing about the offer on it, but it works on the other 2 items. Should look like this when you go to basket, all I did was add to basket then went to basket and it looks like this

confuugled oh no Sad oh well, still a good deal

Are advent calendars included in the Argos 2 for 3. Just trying to figure out the cheapest way of getting them.

SnowBodyforrrrm · 18/09/2016 13:00

Major twitch for the unicorn for my twin girls (4) but do I buy one or two!? They're quite used to sharing but I'm not sure whether this would be one they'd like each. On the plus side, I would be finished their gifts and stockings if I got these, on the other hand I was waiting to see if Fur real unicorn drops in price for them to share.

Where would I store them before Xmas?
One or two?
Robert or starlily?

Too many bloody unicorn questions Xmas Confused

kavvLar · 18/09/2016 13:00

For those still looking for Mermaid tail blankets I ordered two from twinkle deals. They are great, very soft and look like they do in the picture. The children's ones are small though, I got this one www.twinkledeals.com/blankets-throws/stylish-yarn-knitted-sleeping-bags/p_495933.html for my two year old thinking it'd be massive, but because some of the measurements include the added tail/fin bit at the bottom, it looks like it will just work for her. I've also got this www.twinkledeals.com/gifts/comfortable-multicolor-knitted-mermaid-tail/p_437827.html for the six year old but I intend to pinch it for myself when she's in bed. Good quality and reasonably fast delivery came in about two weeks.

SideOrderofChip · 18/09/2016 13:10

Anyone got any Claire's codes? Attatched is my poorly finger. I need to make myself feel better!!

GinAndSonic · 18/09/2016 13:21

I'm not even tempted by the unicorn. Nope. Not at all.

GinAndSonic · 18/09/2016 13:21

But if I was tempted, it would be for me Grin

mayathebee · 18/09/2016 13:23

We have finished up being a playmobil household. DD1 is very girly (prefers the fairies, playground and horse sets) and DD2 is definitely not (has the police sets, pirates - she also has lots of tiny babies but they are often kidnapped by the pirates or witches!). It is played with every day and has kept them amused for hours from around 4 years old. Nothing has broken but we've never had buildings before. The big hotel was massively discounted after xmas last year and I picked it up for about £39 thinking they can use it as a house/hotel/school/whatever but does anyone know whether its as bad as the houses for falling apart?

mayathebee · 18/09/2016 13:26

They also love the playmobil advent calendars. In the past I have just bought whichever one I saw reduced but I haven't spotted any bargains so far this year and now they have given me specific requests (the fire rescue one and the dressing up party one if anyone sees them) so I see this being an expensive xmas advent wise!

weebarra · 18/09/2016 13:36

The Lakeland offer hasn't worked on anything in my basket. Weird.

woodwaj · 18/09/2016 13:39

Ouch chips!! That looks sore!!

Ive decided i am not going to use my very code. I think its single use but i dont think its unique to me.

Its £15 off £50 (or a credit if you get it on your account) and it expires on the 23rd

Send me a msg if you want it :)

weebarra · 18/09/2016 13:44

The Lakeland offer hasn't worked on anything in my basket. Weird.

GinAndSonic · 18/09/2016 13:44

Do lakeland discount the heated airers at black Friday? Also, do they make the house feel hot, or are they ok?

SnowBodyforrrrm · 18/09/2016 13:47

You keep telling yourself that gin Xmas Grin let us know when it arrives!!

Also late September last year (that was really hard not to type "back in 63...") someone posted a photo blanket deal from dinkleboo. I ordered one, it was amazing, so I went back and ordered another. It would be the perfect gift for my lovely cousin who welcomed her first baby and my precious goddaughter into the world in January. But they're at full price around £100ish. So if anyone sees a bargain photo blanket, please please give me a shout!

Methenyouplus4 · 18/09/2016 13:50

gin not sure about discount but only warm if you stand close to them. We generally drape a large thing over the top e.g. jeans/towels/bed shwet which helps keep the heat in and dries things faster.
