Thread 6 - the one where the shark beds go astray and we try not to eat our chocolate hauls

Rubbish title but I'm off to bed in a min (it's been one of those days).

As usual links are on post two.

If I've missed anything good (which could be very likely as I'm getting back to work mode atm) let me know.

If anyone else has ordered their Amazon shark beds (or anything else) from either Fasun or Qianxing they are most probably not going to arrive, apparently they 'have left the Amazon platform' Confused. If you contact customer services they should send you a refund.

Posted in the last thread but reminder there is 20% off M&S starting tomorrow to 19th - will pop the online code on again once I haul myself out of the bath

InYourHonour · 14/09/2016 20:35

I've been following what I can of the last thread and have bought the lumi dough and unicorn and super hero ducks. Think there was other things but can't think at the moment.
Best bargains for me so far this year were play doh sets from Argos last week which were heavily discounted (star wars set 19.99 to 7.99) and hax bug nano things from Tesco.
I've started wrapping today!

Well if we are comparing breakages...my ds, 7, wins. He wins the medals. All of them. Look what he proudly showed me after falling out of a tree.

EmGee · 14/09/2016 20:42

Crumbs monkey that looks painful :(

RJnomore1 · 14/09/2016 20:44

Oh Christ monkey face I haven't seen anything that turned my stomach like that since Henrik Larson in Lyon.

Envy

Poor lamb.

WuTangFlan · 14/09/2016 20:45

monkeyface I didn't get what I was supposed to be looking at until I enlarged the image. Now I feel ill. Envy Your poor DS!

RoastieToastieReastie · 14/09/2016 20:53

monkey

I have a challenge to find a Barbie swimming costume (as in for a Barbie doll not child sized). Just a normal swimsuit not a bikini. All I can find are cheap eBay knock off ones which look really badly fitting or handmade ones which from what I have managed to find don't look very suitable for regularly getting wet or look cheap. I thought this would be something easy!

Reastie I'll have a look in our Barbie box tomorrow if you don't mind second hand? I'm sure we have swimwear.

MrsBungle · 14/09/2016 20:56

monkey my dd's arm looked just like that after she fell off a climbing frame on the very first day of the school holidays! She finally got her cast off last week. Hope your ds is ok.

RoastieToastieReastie · 14/09/2016 20:59

That's very kind Jesus. I don't have an issue with second hand but I don't want to put you out to go to any trouble.

If anyone sees any gifty things around campervans/VWs suitable for adult male - but not clothes - I would be v grateful if you could let me know. Thought I had found a great travel bag thingy from Argos but they're sold out. Budget £15 or under?

SideOrderofChip · 14/09/2016 21:08

campervan chocolate

CaveMum · 14/09/2016 21:09

99percentchocolate · 14/09/2016 21:13

Ouch chips! Hope you are feeling better soon.

Glad people made use of the Baby Annabell bargain. Can't link for some reason but it's the newest one listed as available in 2-4 weeks for the pp who was asking.

Popped into Aldi today and they're advertising their baby sale starting on 22nd September. Nothing on their website yet but the magazine shows a lot of great deals including toys for babies and older children as well as baby care items.

I've just had an email from Very with the code

6TF3H

It's gives £30 credit when you open a new credit account and place an order of £60 or more. Seems a good offer for anyone willing to set up an account.

Wormwoodm · 14/09/2016 21:16

For a barbie swimming costume have you looked at the cheaper dolls. Are they the fashionista or something? Anyway I'm sure we have one from a party and she was wearing a swimsuit.

Polkadot1974 · 14/09/2016 21:17

Yikes that looks sore. Thanks for him help but when i try and add to basket it says not available. Grrr.
Dithering over that Playmobil helicopter now...

AdmiralCLingus · 14/09/2016 21:17

Well I didn't dream my claires order as I've just gone to see my friend out and it was on the doorstep! Can anyone shed any light on what other parcels I might be waiting for???

KitKatCHA · 14/09/2016 21:19

Anybody have thoughts on Bunchems? Just seen this shared, a mega pack for £9.49 down from £24.99 but I don't know if they're any good or not Hmm
