Rubbish title but I'm off to bed in a min (it's been one of those days).

As usual links are on post two.

If I've missed anything good (which could be very likely as I'm getting back to work mode atm) let me know.

Sleep shopping!! I end up sleep bidding on stuff on ebay Blush

Pinkladymel · 14/09/2016 21:27

KitKatCha I saw people last year having their kids hair shaved off because once you brush past them with hair you can't untangle them. I'm sure if you Google it you'll find some horror pictures. (Not as horrific as the broken bones on here though, dear lord 😲😁)

Millie2013 · 14/09/2016 21:27

I ended up with a slipper covered in bunchems earlier, I must have hoovered them up walking around the house!
DD loves them and has been instructed to keep them away from her hair, but they are so bloody clingy Grin

SideOrderofChip · 14/09/2016 21:27

Dh has said hes going to wrap me in bubble wrap. Doctors have said one more injury like this and they will look more into it Sad

disneyprincesswannabe · 14/09/2016 21:28

Bunchems depend on hair type really. And yes I'm being serious. My boys (both grade 2/3 hair) love them, long haired girls can be a different matter. Google it Wink

Pinkladymel · 14/09/2016 21:28

Lots of people have been asking for a Matalan code. Sign up for a reward card on their website (or via the app) and a week later you will receive £10 off £25 online or 20% instore codes.

SideOrderofChip · 14/09/2016 21:29

reastie i think next thread title should be 'the one without broken bones!'

needyounow · 14/09/2016 21:31

Thanks to the posters for the bucket and homemade photo book ideas, away to have a wee Google.

Shine0n · 14/09/2016 21:38

Evening bargain hunters :)

Glad some were able to get the Clinique sets before they sold out.

Anyone who gets groceries delivered from Tesco - be sure to check the toy section on the Groceries site. I found a Playmobil police car that's usually around £20 on there for £5. I added it to my groceries order not really expecting it to be delivered but it was! Really happy with that as my DD has already asked for it for Christmas.

KitKatCHA · 14/09/2016 21:41

So bunchems and a swimming cap then Grin

Shine0n · 14/09/2016 21:42

Sure I could have fitted a few more 'groceries' into that post. In case anyone missed it, I meant Tesco Groceries Grin

Darkswan · 14/09/2016 21:42

Dd has bunchems and likes them. We had a talk about not getting them anywhere near her hair, complete with horror pictures. We haven't had any issues.

Not related to bargains, but when doing dd1 doe people normally do the child's age or their order eg 1 for firstborn?

Oreocrumbs · 14/09/2016 21:53

Not bargainous but this little beauty popped up on my Facebook tonight! Unicorn Gin!! Now there's a gift that says 'mumsnet' Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 14/09/2016 21:59

Grin sorry.

I'm a decade on MN I think that was my best ever place mark!

Honestly, the boy is fine. Not a single tear. He is dead proud that he 'did it real proper' instead of a rubbish fracture 😂

He's having the pins pulled out with pliers on Friday, without sedation, and the weirdo is looking forward to a day off school for it!

Anyway

As you were.

Catanddogmake6 · 14/09/2016 22:09

Shine0n or anybody competent. When people keep talking about the toys on Tesco groceries - where do I find them? I've looked everywhere on the website. Even searched toys and all it came up with is dog toys. I do not like their website. Humph.

Shine0n · 14/09/2016 22:17

Does this link take you there Catanddog? If not then when you're on the Groceries site go to the 'Home & Ents' tab and you'll see the subcategory for toys.

www.tesco.com/groceries/product/browse/default.aspx?N=4293103959&Ne=4294793660

You will need to sign in to see what's available in your local area.

LostMyRubySlippers · 14/09/2016 22:18

catanddog on mobile site, go to drop down menu, select Home Ents, then toys at bottom of there

LostMyRubySlippers · 14/09/2016 22:19

Cross post!!

Shine0n · 14/09/2016 22:19

Here is the Playmobil Police car I got:

www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=284295618#r:d:Cat00005835:23:1:1:77026342,browse

FeelingSmurfy · 14/09/2016 22:19

Ouch those injuries are bad! I've had plenty of fractures and breaks but none that look anything but normal, even fractured a bone twice on each hand and broken it on one hand, they don't even show up on an xray for 2 weeks!

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 14/09/2016 22:27

I just got a fantastic octonauts bundle for £45 on eBay, quick reminder to always check for people who have no idea the value of what they are selling if you don't mind second hand!!

strawberrypenguin · 14/09/2016 22:35

darkswan it's usually birth order. So for example I have DS1 and DS2. 1 is 4years old and 2 is a baby.
It doesn't always help with birth order as you could have DS1, Dd1 and Dd2 for example! Usually if people want to do ages it will be DS(4) in my case. Hope that makes sense!
Sorry nothing on the bargain front to add!
