It was in-store for the Thornton's by the way....

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 08/09/2016 17:21

I'm afraid I can't remember the persons name but they asked about Tummy Stuffers size. I don't have any yet but I do believe they have two different sizes on the works and relatively cheap also!

NapQueen · 08/09/2016 17:25

Finally I've soemthing to add. Lego Frozen Arundel Castle Celebration. Down from 50 to 33.

RJ have you looked on my supermarket for pink champagne deals? They'll tell you which retailers have discounts on.

I always check in there before buying more expensive stuff on my weekly shop, toiletries/washing powder etc.

NapQueen · 08/09/2016 17:36

Would love a Next code if anyone still has any!

RJnomore1 · 08/09/2016 17:40

Ooh I haven't thanks it's nice! Best ice foubf so far is Lanson in a box £25 on Amazon prime.

Darkswan · 08/09/2016 17:55

Have you thought about doing an online shopwith someone like ocado for the champagne? I need some prosecco and i haven't shopped with ocado before, you get £20 off your first order of £60 so im buying 60 worth of prosecco and then getting £20 off

RJnomore1 · 08/09/2016 18:06

The last time I checked ocado don't deliver to me, it's a great idea though thank you.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 08/09/2016 18:07

Is it reasonable to want a set of Lego for £10 but work around £20? Any style but classic or city would be good. Or will I not see that type of discount?

CurriedEggs · 08/09/2016 18:40

RatBag that beer advent calendar is great, I've just ordered it for DH. Thanks.

BrollySmolly · 08/09/2016 18:42

Napqueen - I bought the Arendelle castle a couple of weeks ago from toys r us - it was £33 and came with a free Olaf Lego set worth £4.99. I can't remember who found that fab deal for me!

Haudyerwheesht · 08/09/2016 18:50

Sorry to ask for suggestions again but it is kind of bargain related honest!!!!

Ds is turning 10 soon and I need maybe 2/3 presents for him that look actually quite substantial when wrapped up. He does understand the value of money but it's hard seeing his wee sister get massive massive (cheaper) gifts and all his being small.

I've ordered him one of those maesto car things. Anyone any other suggestions? Not Lego because he has 2/3 sets he bought which he hasn't opened yet. He tends to take ages to get round to them because he plays with them one at a time!

He did ask for a BMX but they are crazily expensive. His bike he has will do him another year.

Any ideas for biggish (in size) presents that don't cost the earth??!?

Haudyerwheesht · 08/09/2016 18:50

God sorry that was a bit long!

WuTangFlan · 08/09/2016 18:58

Quick update - the Wilko blankets are big enough to get 2 shark blankets out of, fitting a tall nearly 8 year old with room to spare. (I didn't use the tutorial in the end, kind of made it up as I went along, it wasn't that complicated really. Teeth and eyes to be added later.)

Asda have the snow glow elsa and Anna singing dolls for only £28 here

Also the Lego city fire station only £54.97 here

It's worth a look because quite a lot of their Lego city and Lego superheroes stuff is reduced. They also have quite good things on the 3 for £20 deal. Pretty sure you can usually order to collect in store too.

Tesco also have some toys on half price here including my little pony, peppa, hexbug v2 and the playmobil school bus.

neddle · 08/09/2016 19:08

Woah! Major delivery day today.
Candy floss machine arrived from Clas Ohlson.
Part of my IWOOT order and five packets from the postman.

Laser pegs rocket looks great for the price and not small.
Lite Brix figures to go with it.
Christmas gliders good enough for stockings or when you need to buy a token present for lots of kids.
Cornerstone box for my dad (my link).

wutang that's amazing! I'm in the process of making a pencil case of my own design. Haven't even thought about making shark blankets. Very tempted by the Wilson blanket though - you can't buy fabric for that little.

JsOtherHalf · 08/09/2016 19:21

Thanks to whoever said Primark were doing Harry Potter clothing.

Look what I bought today. The nighties went up to size 18/20 and were £5. The slippers were either size 3-5, or 6-8 and were £3.50.
