Not that cheap, but I found a UK map on Amazon

neddle · 07/09/2016 21:17

User
There's mini American Girl dolls on Amazon UK, but I second buying from Amazon US. I've done it before and not had to pay any extra on delivery. They add the customs fees onto the item price when you order.

This link came up on my fb feed tonight:
MoneySavingExpert have a link to save money on giftcards at Zeek.
Details on their page and you have to click through them to get £11 off your second purchase.

Nothing on there that I wanted to use, so I haven't tried it, but there's companies like Toys R Us, Debenhams, iTunes, J Lewis and Starbucks.

Hello :)

Delurking with my first Mumsnet post to say I have found my home!

And I saw these mermaid blankets on a Facebook bargain page - £8.99 plus £3.99 postage... Hope the link works

I have been using zeek for more than a year and never had any problem with them. I've never sold any card to them but all the cards I bought (a lot!!) were accepted in the various online and rl shop without any problems.

user1471454524 Wordery have American Girl mini dolls (uk online)

monkeyfacegrace · 07/09/2016 21:56

Zeek is really good. It's basically shops/people selling off their gift vouchers. So if you know you are buying something from somewhere, check here first for gift vouchers. Because they are vouchers and not discount codes, they can be used against sale items etc.

So I was buying a bike from ToysRUs for £100, had an extra 20% off code, so it was £80, then I bought £80 of gift vouchers from Zeek for £70 to pay for it.

Does that make sense?!

RubyFlint · 07/09/2016 22:00

Thanks Larva just bought 2 reindeer with gift boxes and wasn't charged for the gift boxes.

Strawberryfield12 · 07/09/2016 22:06

Was looking through the everyday cash back offers on my lloyds account and there was a 10% cashback offer on purchases from Getthelabel. Did a nose around, they are selling some Christmas and Christmassy jumpers man and female, prices from around £9-£15, there is free delivery code on website for orders over £60, and 10% cashback if paid by lloyds card.

PinkSquash · 07/09/2016 22:07

Flowers Vino it's horrible isn't it. My job finishes on the 17th and it's scary thinking of the future.

Zeek seems a great idea to reduce the spending down in larger stores and the Starbucks card would come in handy for the obligatory Xmas Eve hot chocolate and cake extravaganza.

Theimpossiblegirl · 07/09/2016 22:12

Hadiever- There were loads of nice wallets in TKMaxx last Christmas.

Haudyerwheesht · 07/09/2016 22:19

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Letustryagain · 07/09/2016 22:26

Rockchick - yes that's exactly the sort of thing I was meaning. It looks great and also comes in a Brunette version. My only worry is that the reviews about the actual walking part aren't that great... It's so tricky but she would love it I'm sure, just not sure I could cope with the disappointment on Xmas day if it doesn't actually walk like it says it does... Decisions decisions...

But thank you!!

I still have one Next code left if anyone wants it.

onesparesecond do you mind me asking where you found reasonably priced world scratch maps?i've been looking for one for a relative for Christmas. Thank you

AndersArms · 08/09/2016 06:17

Joules has a 25% off everything sale until Sunday with the code "QUACKERS"

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 08/09/2016 06:52

I've hardly bought any Christmas presents but just spent £100 on yet more clothes for DS because they were bargains. This thread bankrupts me every year Grin

glenthebattleostrich · 08/09/2016 06:55

Lands End sent a kids catalogue with a code for £10 off a £50 spend. Code is FOX

Bought DDs summer clothes from there and they still look new despite a very active summer. Their leggings, while not cheap, are brilliant and come in gorgeous colours and patterns.

confuugled1 · 08/09/2016 07:23

keepon123 The scratch maps of the world can be found on eBay.co.uk from about £3-5.

I'm on my mobile and it's not giving me a link but if you go to eBay, do a search on 'scratch map world' then change the sort order to 'lowest price including p&p' it will put the cheapest at the top.

I bought one last year and although it came from China (or similar) it was absolutely fine, you just have to wait a bit longer to get it!

If you want a map of Europe then type Europe in the search (or USA or British Isles etc). The European maps are about £5.50 for the cheapest ones.
