I think it's just out of stock too as I already had a lipstick I have my eye on in my basket and it's still saying not currently available to me.

PopsicleBopsicle · 06/09/2016 18:20

Hi guys,

Just a heads up about Cornerstone. I half signed up but didn't complete my purchase and they sent me a link for 50% off my first order, which may work out better if you want to shaving creams or the leather wash bag.

SitsOnFence · 06/09/2016 18:22

Sitson Fence just looked at the offer for the Bug magazine and I initially thought the same as you. The free gifts actually come with the 'deliveries' which is 4 magazines at a time. So not actually as good a deal as it looked

Shock

Not a good deal at all then really! Glad I decided just to stick with the scorpion!

AlfrescoBalconyWanker · 06/09/2016 18:38

I paid £16 for the Tomy Ice cream foam thing last year - it got a lot of use for a couple of months, from a then 5 and 8 year old. I might fill it up again tonight. It doesn't leak and does what it says on the tin - makes foam.

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 06/09/2016 18:44

So, I told my husband we had better stay in tonight instead of going out as I was a bit short of cash due to buying a lot from this thread. He was genuinely interested in what I had got although was really puzzled over a couple of things and who they were for. Said I didn't know and didn't need them but I would probably give them to the Christmas kids appeal as they were such a good bargain. He scratched his head and said " so basically the bargain thread is where you buy things you don't need with money you don't have for people you don't know" !
Um... Can't really argue with that!

woodwaj · 06/09/2016 18:51

So i am thinking thread 5 - show us your haul! Post a pic of your buys it might inspire other people and find someone a bargain they missed.....or just make us all laugh at how are kids are getting the same things!!

BrollySmolly · 06/09/2016 18:52

Great idea!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 06/09/2016 19:18

cute unicorn hairclips

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 06/09/2016 19:20

^^ should have warned that although cute, they are not a bargain!

RoastieToastieReastie · 06/09/2016 19:21

Tomy ice cream foam is £13.98 on Amazon now. Still hoping for it to go lower

SnowBodyforrrrm · 06/09/2016 19:24

I've picked up a few good buys over the weekend.

This acrylic makeup storage was £2 in primark. They had other sizes and styles but my annoying OH was hurrying me up, to be fair they didn't have air con and I'd been in there an hour but I don't feel the heat while I shop Xmas Grin Ideal gift for a beauty hamper or teen stocking.

These hair chalks were also from primark for £4. I like how they're in a straightener type thingy so they're less messy to use. Lovely stocking filler for my twin girls!

Possibly a stupid question but tempted to buy quite a few mermaid tail blankets from twinkle deals for my nieces, daughter and myself. I've put off ordering them wondering if I could get charged tax by customs or is that more for electrical goods etc? Has anyone ordered about 10?

SnowBodyforrrrm · 06/09/2016 19:30

These were £3.99 from h&m and again are nice stocking fillers.

I love the idea for the new thread 😂 "Reasties Bargain club -Where everyone has the same haul and noone has a clue who its for"

disneyprincesswannabe · 06/09/2016 20:26

Finally caught up on the thread and ordered a toot toot house for ds3 and amigami thingy for dd. Thank you.
Need to go and do a primark/Harry potter haul at some point for dd as I though I'd do her a Harry Potter themed stocking this year. Have ordered some jewellery and a wand from aliexpress.

Out of interest, how do you find the mega prime-only deals on Amazon? Is there a special link where they all are or something?

woodwaj · 06/09/2016 20:38

I just found the toot toot by chance disney but id be keen to know that too!

Keepon123 · 06/09/2016 20:41

Finally order twinkle deals blanket but didn't realise could go through topcashback!-grrr.oh well still a bargain.

featherpillow · 06/09/2016 20:45

Grin Littlereindeer. That made me laugh

AdmiralCLingus · 06/09/2016 20:50

Thanks for all the ideas for the random gift!! Too many ideas now though haha! The garlic peeler thing is one of the things she's bought me... it's useless! 😂

99percentchocolate · 06/09/2016 20:51

Can anyone remember the website mentioned a couple of threads ago by a pp which sold discount baby doll things? It was one I hadn't heard of and they did lots of discount toys but it was in response to a pp asking about baby doll things.

Also need some ideas for a woman in her 50s who loves baking, gardening, and history. £10 or less. Any ideas?

SnowBodyforrrrm · 06/09/2016 20:56

Was it Bargainmax?

99percentchocolate · 06/09/2016 21:02

Yes! Thank you so much snow! Flowers
