Has anyone ordered the peppa pig plushes from aliexpress?

SolomanDaisy · 06/09/2016 16:26

We've got a kids fire. It has different age limits on it, but I think teenagers might be a bit disappointed by it. Though you can actually log out of the child's account and use it as a normal kindle (doing this is password protected). We have a blue cover, there's usually just a choice of pink and blue, though you could buy a replacement separately. The storage on the HD version isn't great and you can't add a memory card, so we got a basic one with a big memory card.

The free kids unlimited subscription is brilliant, loads of apps and films/TV to watch. The more educational apps, like reading eggs, aren't included but you can just buy them.

The machine is pretty solid and survives being dropped and having stuff spilt on it.

TheBathroomSink · 06/09/2016 16:31

Neddle - I suspect the 15yo would be frustrated by the controls on the Kids tablet, it does restrict access quite heavily, so it would probably not be of much use as far as watching shows on Prime or Youtube and I don't think it allows access to social media.

I would definitely think about getting an ordinary Fire for the oldest (not sure how old the next oldest is).

£10 off a £50 spend at Smyths on their baby department using code BS10 until Monday Voucher

LostMyRubySlippers · 06/09/2016 16:38

neddle the code I used was new customers only & had to spend £25. I can't recall if it was same code as it was few weeks ago, but presume they would keep running similar offers for new customers?

neddle · 06/09/2016 16:55

Sitson Fence just looked at the offer for the Bug magazine and I initially thought the same as you. The free gifts actually come with the 'deliveries' which is 4 magazines at a time. So not actually as good a deal as it looked.

Thanks for the Fire reviews; my kids are 15, 11, 8, 5 & 2, The oldest uses Instagram etc, they all like YouTube (seriously, who thought watching people unwrap toys could ever be a thing?)
Maybe normal ones for the older 3 and add insurance and kids ones for the younger two. Keeps pondering.

Polkadot1974 · 06/09/2016 16:57

I'm just about to try and sell our Octopod if I can find all the bits!

FrantasticO · 06/09/2016 17:10

Hi all.
Cliniq ur are doing three travel size products for men plus two samples for £5 free delivery.
Hope that helps someone.

Looking for shopkins bargains and gifts for two 70 year old nans.

FrantasticO · 06/09/2016 17:11

That should be clinique!

SolomanDaisy · 06/09/2016 17:16

You can watch YouTube on the kids kindle, through the Amazon kids web app but it is a limited selection of videos.

FeelingSmurfy · 06/09/2016 17:21

Any more information about clinique? Not sure what it is you add to basket

torthecatlady · 06/09/2016 17:26

Is achica any good?

Sorry Vino :(

luckiestgirl · 06/09/2016 17:35

Satsuki I remember a previous poster saying she bought two rock crawlers but they do both work off the same frequency unfortunately.

FrantasticO · 06/09/2016 17:39

Sorry about the long link.
So far I've received the toothbrush timer, small but cute.
The panda eye masks. Good.
Apron good for money but thin
Saltrock hoodies and t shirts fab

I'm still awaiting shark bed and resisted the razors.

Jessica78 · 06/09/2016 17:41

Achica is fine, but delivery can be forever depending on what you order & by forever I mean a couple of months...

FeelingSmurfy · 06/09/2016 17:47

The clinique doesn't work Sad says it's added to bag but when you look at bag it says nothing in your bag

itmustbemyage · 06/09/2016 17:50

I've just tried the Clinique link but you cannot buy the kit on it's own. Must be just as an add on. I thought it too much of a bargain on it's own. Will have a proper look later.

HungryHorace · 06/09/2016 17:50

If anyone is buying for an almost-walking baby I saw the VTech walker in store for £19.50 today, which had about £15 off. My two loved this!

RJnomore1 · 06/09/2016 17:50

Achica is good if you are not in a rush - my Xmas bedding is due delivery end of September. If anyone wants to order I can refer you for a £10 voucher - I get one too if you order. Others might be able to refer too, don't want to hog any referral credit, but I'll PM a link to anyone that PMs me for a referral.

HungryHorace · 06/09/2016 17:51

In store being at Tesco. D'oh!

itmustbemyage · 06/09/2016 17:51

Oops crossed posts with Smurfy

torthecatlady · 06/09/2016 17:51

Thanks for the feedback Jessica!

Hmm the Clinique isn't working for me either! Shame, would have been a great stocking filler (with the razor) Grin

FeelingSmurfy · 06/09/2016 17:54

I don't think it's an add on, I think they are just out of stock

FrantasticO · 06/09/2016 18:06

Sorry guys.
Mine went through as a single purchase not as an add on.
