So why is it when my (much wealthier and very generous) friend asks what he should get the DCs for Xmas (we are spending the day with them) I can't actually suggest a single thing!? I hate asking for stuff!

NowBringUs.......I have no idea what an Amiibo is!! I'm the least technical person in the world, I literally see these things on their lists, do an internet search and press 'add to basket'!!!

However.....on further investigation, I don't think it's suitable. As far as I can see, it's for the Wii U version of the game only.....I've bought the DS version. I think. I don't bloody know!! I'm going to have to unwrap it and check!

The sizes are coming into and going out of stock constantly, when I first looked at Debenhams they only had the largest sizes, but now there is a good range.

I twitched yesterday when I saw a FB message re my fav perfumery offering a discount - so 2 bottles of gorgeous 4160 Tuesdays scent will be under the tree for ME from Santa!!

But to be fair I was going to buy them anyway.

I have no idea what amiibo is either, but ds2 is getting a wii u and the games they're suitable for, so make of that what you will I'm a marketing agency's dream target

I am lusting after a similarly expensive beautiful book - the complete narnia - but I'm leaving it til her summer birthday or next Xmas as I'm not sure she's quite ready. It's so completely stunning though.

I twitched while feeding dd this morning, bloody smart phones and bought ds some bizzy bear books and dd a bedtime stories book.

Epic twitch on amazon. I'd been deliberating getting lots more books/activity books and a couple of DVDs, plus a game for DH's birthday next month. I almost managed to convince myself not to. Almost.

So it's all stuff I had wanted to get anyway and they will definitely get loads of use... but still

Guaranteed to arrive before 1pm tomorrow. Was amazed that was only £9!

That is IT for the DCs now. I have managed to talk myself out of a couple of toys I was thinking of for DS. Lego and board games will be plenty and they are by far his favourite things anyway! The DCs have chosen each other a monster high doll, and there's a couple of bits of tat in the stocking, so there's lots of things to play with.

I just need a present for DSS' GF, and an iTunes voucher for my friend. Think that's it.

Oh no wait. Need to somehow measure the DCs' hands and get them goalie gloves for their stocking. Planned that ages ago and never got round to it. Oops.
