HollyJollyXmas · 13/12/2014 09:21

I need a few cheapo little trinkets for stockings, but have to avoid the twitch as I do NOT want to send more than maybe a tenner each on the DC for these.

Was twitching like mad at lego stuff yesterday, but resisted .

waithorse · 13/12/2014 09:34

oO where did you get the Grimlock from please ?

o0 · 13/12/2014 10:22

It was briefly down on Amazon (a seller) but it's back up again, sorry waithorse.

conquistador · 13/12/2014 12:47

I cannot stop twitching! It's driving me mad.
I've been finished for a while now but this morning alone I have managed to order:

A DVD box set with Home Alone 1&2 and the Sandlot Kits 1&2
Orchard Games Alphabet Lotto
A board game
A personalised book from DD to DH from NOTHS
A Bialetti stovetop coffee maker

Ridiculous..........

Aagh. DD just showed me her copy of Heat with eight or nine things circled from their Top 50 Presents feature. I pointed out that if she had told me two weeks ago, it would have been helpful, I thought I had finished buying for her.

I have just come downstairs and found myself buying her some Cath Kidston PJ bottoms, admittedly with discount from ASOS.

Misty9 · 13/12/2014 23:07

I'm in danger of twitching on the happyland train set for 8mo dd but mostly for ds, 3.4 I really shouldn't should I?!

RJnomore · 14/12/2014 08:56

Currently considering twitching on:

That fitbit for DH (I think tht is happening)
Boots for me
Another doll for dd2
Shoes for dd1 from urban outfitters
Opi nail polish for dd1
A Paddington book for dd2

And I'm going RL shopping to get dd2 a party outfit.

Can I give one of you lot my bak cards until January!

RedButtonhole · 14/12/2014 09:11

Twitched yesterday on a Toothless from 'How Train Your Dragon". £15 in Argos, thankfully it was out of stock and doesn't seem to be available anywhere so I've saved that.

In Glasgow today so I'm sure there will be twitching galore at the Christmas market!

HoHoHappyHolidays · 14/12/2014 09:50

Another board game for DS1 and another DVD for DS2... Now on 8 gifts each. Oops.

chloejaynemummy · 14/12/2014 15:45

popcornpaws · 14/12/2014 17:44

Cant write a list as my dd knows my username and sometimes has a look at whats going on here, but i went out on fri for wrapping paper and spent nearly 300 quid, even tho I've finished my shopping!!

QuicheMama · 14/12/2014 18:59

Wow Popcorn, that is some twitch! I came on to say mine was more like a full on seizure, but I feel better now GrinGrinGrin

I bought a Furby Boom back in the Summer, with a view of giving it to DD2 for Christmas. It then got put away as I felt it was too much. DD1 already has one, as they squabble over it. We are in rented accommodation with very little space, but today I decided to give it to her as planned. How rash am I!!!

Fathertedismyuncle · 14/12/2014 22:01

Darn it. My 4 yr old ds has consistently asked for a black ninja suit. (That and a crossbow are his only things). I just found one on amazon for him. At least he will love it.

HollyJollyDillydolly · 15/12/2014 12:18

I bought the jelly bean tube on amazon lightening deals this morning. I've also bought ds1&2 a new onesie and myself and dh new pjs to go in Xmas eve box in the tesco sale, oh an ds a new coat while I was at it. Can't even hide my purse as I can check out with paypal now most places online.

RJnomore · 15/12/2014 15:31

I did it. I twitched. It was bad.

New outfit for dd2 for school dance
New glittery pink converse for her
New tiara from Claire's (£14! I nearly passed out!) all given to her to wear this afternoon.

Purple patent dr marten boots for dd2
Boots and sports bra for me
Urban outfitters shoes for dd1
Superdry underwear for ds1
Fit bit for dh
Opi nail varnish for dd1
Kimono for dd1
Lush set for dd1 (it's for her birthday rather than Xmas)
Owl headphones for dd2

Blush

I NEED to stop.

yaffle · 15/12/2014 15:44

Cheap twitch today- Skylanders Annual for £1 from Amazon and Lindt Bear, Reindeers and Santas (they were £3 in Sainsbury's) from the 99 p shop for stockings , although that was annoying twitch as I now need to make all the stockings are even - damn having so many children.

Memphisbelly · 15/12/2014 16:18

I twitched today molre Playmobil (but it was from my grandad) not sure if that counts.
From us a yoyo and some pj's Blush this has to stop now I don't want to go near a shop until xmas eve now.

O FGS.

After I twitched and got DD a dressing gown, she said she wanted nothing more than a Christmas onesie. Then she said it again, and added that she really, really wanted one.

So I just had a little look. I know she wants fleece, in a fair isle type design, preferably red or blue.

They seem to be sold out almost everywhere in her size, but I found a purple snowflake one at Peacocks with 20% off and ordered it. Not quite the right colour, not quite the right pattern, but OK.

Then today M&S have 20% off and they have a fair isle fleece with fur trim. Not in DD's size, but the next size up. Not quite the right colour...

but I hadn't remembered to look on ebay, where there are loads of course, but with uncertain delivery dates.

So I have ordered two onesies, neither of them quite right, and I am browsing ebay for a third one.

there will be a LOT of returning going on later.

twolittledarlings · 16/12/2014 23:27

Try debenhams they have fair isle oneies

WhispersOfWickedness · 17/12/2014 07:00

DH and I both twitched last week, but it's ok because we each twitched for one child each, so now don't have to worry about evening the presents up for the other child Grin
