No exciting thread title this time I’m afraid...

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

If I’ve missed anything good from any last threads onto the list please let me know.

I can't see anything very special in the Argos 'sale.' Everything I have checked is the same price as yesterday. Anyone else have more luck?

Thanks for the Oxfam link BTW. I bought a teacher and two chickens!

Waitingonasunnyday · 12/12/2014 11:00

Bespoke offers is driving me bonkers! I suddenly need a £125 playmobil set for about £85 and I thought ooh, if I bought one, DH bought one, MIL bought one, etc etc, I would get a great deal.

I can't even get it to sell me one poxy voucher!

CrimsonDay · 12/12/2014 11:12

How can you tell if it's gone through? It won't let me buy another but I can't see any confirmation that I've actually got one?

Did you all get an email to confirm?

TenMinutesEarly · 12/12/2014 11:13

I have missed a few threads because I thought I was done but ds is in reception and has a lovely gardener in year 6 who has been fab and has bought him a present. Any idea what to buy a year 6 trendy, sporty girl? Only a few pounds, I'm flummoxed!

Waitingonasunnyday · 12/12/2014 11:22

Crimson I have no idea... I've had no email, it didn't look like it went through but also won't let me buy another one. So the same as you.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 12/12/2014 11:23

I thought I was done too but Dsis has just requested a dressing gown. I had a look at a few in next but they were really thin. Any suggestions on where to get a thick snuggly dressing gown from that won't break the bank?

TenMinutesEarly · 12/12/2014 11:24

Tkmaxx and Costco both have lovely thick dressing gowns in.

Nix01 · 12/12/2014 11:39

Does anyone know what adaptor plug I'm looking for. It's the thingy that you can plug into an iPod docking station (original long pin) and allows you to plug in the iPhone 6?

bookwormbeagle · 12/12/2014 11:40

Hi pamelaEwing sorry to jump on your post Wink is your matalan code a single use one as I'm also desperate to order an Elsa dress for DD. Would be very grateful if anyone could help? TIA

MsBug · 12/12/2014 11:45

Mama1980 · 12/12/2014 11:46

Aargh I need a present for a 8 year old girl, who hates with a passion anything pink, princessy or frozen....but already has everything I can think of.
I've just done a present check and realised I missed her out, she's my niece but in my defence I have about a million nieces and nephews Smile for the right present will pay up to about £60 please help me SmileThanks

ihatethecold · 12/12/2014 11:48

If you enter XMR15 into the L'occitane website when you spend £15 you get a hand cream travel set free ( 3 hand creams in a decorated tin) between 1st jean and the 31st jan.

AdamantEve · 12/12/2014 11:54

With the Bespoke Offers Amazon thing, look in your account (top right on the mobile page, I think) and there should be a section that says "your vouchers" - that's where mine was.
Then follow the link and add the voucher code to your Amazon account.

Message from not furry throw seller...

Dear Customer,

I am really sorry the item sent to you was the wrong item.

We are now sold out of this item and a replacement can not be sent to you.

I have issued a full refund to you.

Please accept our sincere apologies

Kind Regards,

Customer Services

Shall I email back and tell them they have made 5yo DD cry? Xmas Angry

CrimsonDay · 12/12/2014 11:57

Thanks waiting and Adam mine hadn't gone through. Waiting you might need to try again? It has let me try again now.

Elvish · 12/12/2014 11:59

Mama how about a pair of converse?

tipsyloolah · 12/12/2014 11:59

I have SO SO SO much still to get Sad - any help to get bargains would be very much appreciated.

Have been working so much that I still haven't tracked down best price on fancy GHDs (pink or blue or anything but usual black). They have been available for £79 on Black Friday and I am loathe to pay more (but probably will). Also, best offer on 64 or 128 GB ipad mini if anyone has seen one?

tipsyloolah · 12/12/2014 12:01

The other things are Plants vs Zombies for normal Xbox.

Thick white towelling robes, not velour.

A massive fake suede beanbag - really huge.

DamselNotInHerDress · 12/12/2014 12:03

My 'furry' throw arrived yesterday. It's bloody horrible. Almost white in colour and nasty fleece material.
I hate fleece.
It has been relegated to dds bed on account of it being so horrible!

Elvish · 12/12/2014 12:03

TenMin how about a nail polish? Cheap and easy to pick up somewhere?

zipzap · 12/12/2014 12:07

wanna M&S had some nice snuggly dressing gowns that were in that soft plushy fleece fabric. DH has bought me one for christmas if he did but know it Grin

They also had longer length versions available - there are so many nice warm dressing gowns around and then they finish at your knees - I know it's granny annie-ish but I like a nice long winter dressing gown so it keeps as much as possible of you warm!!

tipsyloolah · 12/12/2014 12:08

Someone mentioned furry brown blankets that were electric and marvellously toasty on another thread I think - does anyone know what/how much they were? All that's sticking in my mind is that they cost 3p to run for hours!

I also need the best place for trainers online - but am losing the will to live with that one.

Saw Xmas pasta in Lidl yesterday for whoever asked ages ago Grin.

Also, TK Maxx had loads of Cath Kidston dressing gowns in (not white fluffy towelling unfortunately).

Keepcalmanddrinkmulledwine · 12/12/2014 12:14

That's such a shame about the throws. I hope you all complain to Amazon. Not fair to sell a different product on the back of the success of the original throw.

WUME · 12/12/2014 12:38

What's the cheapest 'batman' toy?

4yo dd2 has just asked for a batman toy.

I thought I was done.

What's the cheapest I can get one?

ModerationInEverything · 12/12/2014 13:06

tipsyloolah do you mean a heated throw? I bought one for my DM in Aldi for £30. She loves it! It has 8 heat settings and a timer thing, so you can have it on for half an hour while you get toasty and then it turns itself off Xmas Smile

They have them in argos etc and I think they have them in Lidl this week or next.
