Thanks for the quote spotty

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

I'm getting a bit sporadic in what makes it to the OP (I can't put everything on or it would take up the whole thread!) so if you think I've missed something good please let me know.

Toilet rolls and kitchen towel are on groupon.

SpottyTeacakes · 15/10/2014 18:32

The topcashback acct fee is only for their top acct and it's £5 per year not per month. You can get a standard acct and it's free.

Rosedust · 15/10/2014 18:46

Hadn't spotted the £5 fee part - thanks for drawing attention to it!

If I downgrade now, will the DVD offer go through do you think? Or should I wait for the cashback to go through?

SpottyTeacakes · 15/10/2014 18:48

Umm not sure as I've kept the £5 fee thing going. I've had about £140 on cash back over the last year

Notso · 15/10/2014 18:48

Thanks for the Book People code. Just ordered loads of books Smile

Rosedust · 15/10/2014 18:54

That's a good amount of cashback Smile

Might look in to keeping it if I'm going to use it a fair bit...

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 15/10/2014 18:59

I use easyfundraising to raise money for DD's school - does anyone know if i can use the cashback sites as well or can you only use one at a time?

Reastie · 15/10/2014 19:07

snowman loo paper

Does anyone have a definitive on the £5 fee for the Disney DVDs then? Thought it must be too good to be true. Is it a one off fee (in which case fine) or a monthly one, and can we cancel it after the DVDs arrive?

Any octonauts fans the gup f is currently £12 on Amazon which is a good price

Notso · 15/10/2014 19:09

It's an annual fee Reastie mine only ever goes out of my cashback.

leesmum · 15/10/2014 19:16

Wilkinsons usually sell Snowman and Snowdog loo and kitchen roll...I've bought it for the last 3 Christmas' but I don't know if its in store yet Hmm

AWimbaWay · 15/10/2014 19:21

Thanks for the tip Elvish, I do sometimes clear cookies to ensure I get the best deals on train/flight tickets etc. so will ensure I don't do that mid cash-back transaction.

Reastie · 15/10/2014 19:24

lees I desperately tried last year for snowman loo roll but don't have a Wilkos near me and the main supermarkets didn't sell them/sold out, so I'm chuffed with my 40 roll order which will last me the next 10 years at least

notso £5 a year I can manage, but if it were a month I'd be Hmm

TheWrathofNaan I didn't get that message from top cashback, in fact on my account page it says "Free to join and use".

However, when I clicked through to the zavvi dvd and completed the transaction, zavvi did try and divert me to a different cashback site that did want to charge a monthly fee, I just ignored that!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 15/10/2014 19:28

SweetPeaPods · 15/10/2014 19:28

leesmum · 15/10/2014 19:32

Reastie brilliant you can start using yours the beginning of Dec. Last year I put mine in the bathroom on Christmas Eve...all 4 rolls were gone by Boxing day..I think my lot must've got a bit over excited wiping their bumholes on the Snowdog ShockConfused

Notso · 15/10/2014 19:37

The £5 fee apparently gets you better deals than the free membership.

On another note if anyone wants a cheapish present for teenagers, The Book People have a recipe book for mug cakes for £3.99 or £3 with the 25% off. It's in Waterstones for £7.99. DD 14 had it a birthday present with a mug and loves it.

306235388 · 15/10/2014 19:49

Anyone got ideas for an 87 year old lady who is a very fussy eater, can't really get out much, hates cats and doesn't wear perfume or jewellery? Under £10?

Justdoaweeonthefuckingpotty · 15/10/2014 20:02

York fruits. Old people fucking love them. Wait for a 99p throw for the rest of the budget.

has anyone got any good ideas for a game for kids 3-6 to play with adults?

admiralclingus · 15/10/2014 20:06

I wish the book people would stop giving us codes... This will be the 6th time I've ordered from them now...

Notso · 15/10/2014 20:07

Aww my Grandma and Great Aunt LOVED York Fruits.

Pop Up Pirate is bearable as it's quick. Maybe headbands depending on the 3yo. The Yes/No game my 3 year old thinks is hilarious but is rubbish at, he enjoys dinging the bell loudly though.

TrisisFour · 15/10/2014 20:20

Livvy, do you have a store near you? If so I would take it in with your receipt and get a replacement. Alternatively give their customer services a ring. When I called them when the site was playing up they were brilliant.

saladfingers · 15/10/2014 20:23

How about a tartan fleece blanket for the 87 year old to go with her York fruits? On Amazon £5.95 delivered

2kidsintow · 15/10/2014 20:23

There's also a Mug Cake recipe book at the Works. I've got it for one of my DD's for Christmas (can't decide which one it's for yet though) and I can't remember but I think it was £2.99.
