Thanks for the quote spotty

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

I'm getting a bit sporadic in what makes it to the OP (I can't put everything on or it would take up the whole thread!) so if you think I've missed something good please let me know.

Aw no I missed the argos offer. I was in there today and everything! I wondered why it was packed with people buying disney dolls etc.

IHeartKingThistle · 15/10/2014 16:37

Hello IHopeyousteponaLegopiece! Did your friend like her necklace last year? (It was you wasn't it?) Grin

sweetkitty · 15/10/2014 16:43

I'm rubbish at this bargain hunting thing, had a Very code, ordered four pair of PJs last night, pressed add instead of the promo code button phoned them today and the code expired 1st Oct, two sets of PJs at the local shop, two on order all to be sent back Hmm no way I'm paying £64 for PJs.

My Monster High school arrived though £50 just now on Amazon instead of £75 so not worth the money but DD1 wants it.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 15/10/2014 16:52

:o it was me iheart ! She wears it daily...I dont actually think she's ever taken it off!!

Your kindness and generosity is still thought of often :)

pigleychez · 15/10/2014 16:55

Glad some people managed to get stuff from Argos. Typically there was nothing I really wanted amongst it though.. At least it helped some people. :)

I think my girls are pretty much done now! Onto the Adults who are the hardest!

admiralclingus · 15/10/2014 16:58

There's this cosmetics bundle on today's MSE email. Says you getv29 items forv£26

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 15/10/2014 16:59

Oh and I'm well versed in sodding build build a bear :o

35 is enough for a bear and outfit...just hmm but when they see the other bits....including roller skates and a wheelchair (!) ...it bumps the price up!

I bought
bear
Scented heart for it...Strawberry...its gross!
1 disney princess dress
rapunzel wig
hairbrush
Shoes
Handbag (for important bear - necessities :o)
And it was £53...which from other experiences is pretty average

It's a fab experience though!

IHeartKingThistle · 15/10/2014 17:00

Oh that makes me so happy! It wasn't even generous, it literally had no use to me! I love it when a plan comes together Smile

But this year do try NOT to throw away all your Christmas shopping!

IHeartKingThistle · 15/10/2014 17:06

A bear in a rapunzel wig?! I'm not going to like this experience anywhere near as much as DD is, am I? Grin OK so more money needed. Ooh, OR, I wonder if when all the uncles and aunties ask for ideas for Christmas presents I could suggest BaB vouchers or extra bits? Hmm, she won't want to wait though will she?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 15/10/2014 17:14

:o it's the most hideous thing ever...and won't stay on the bears fucking head!

It's worth having having a bigger budget so they can properly cloth it and get the accessories etc...but then I'm a soft touch Wink

Maybe plan a special girls day for the first weekend in the new year so build build a bear then a girls lunch and shopping etc

She thinks it's special and you get to ask relatives to give her vouchers for Xmas

win win :o

Elvish · 15/10/2014 17:17

Your code is bigger than my code Clarinet [sulks]

IHeartKingThistle · 15/10/2014 17:20

Great idea, she'll love that. No little brothers allowed!

Elvish · 15/10/2014 17:25

AWimbaWay just make sure you have cookies enabled on your PC. When you click from a cashback site to another site they put a cookie on your computer. This is then tracked at the checkout by the company you are buying from. When they verify to the cashback company that you have paid they will give you a share of their commission from the sale - your cashback.

If you are trying to limit how companies track you and target ads to you etc and you've turned off cookies or increased your privacy then you may miss out on cashback.

Those BAB wigs scare the life out of me. Grin

Re: Book People codes/code stacking.

Until midnight tonight you can use GIFT25 for 25% off and AFLEMON for free P&P on orders over £15 - these both worked on my order.

TheWrathofNaan · 15/10/2014 18:13

The topcashback offer for the dvds: when I join it says there is a £5 a month fee unless you cancel it?

Did it for anyone else?

Reastie · 15/10/2014 18:14

So far today I have ordered the 2 free Disney DVDs, an inflatable dinosaur and 40 (yes, 40) snowman loo rolls.

DHs ugg slippers arrived today (and I only ordered them yesterday, wow) with £30 new customer discount from very. He tried them on with his eyes closed to make sure they fit and he now works the old man look :)

I flicked through channels on TV earlier and saw QVC doing Christmas stuff and took a peek and I nearly bought some amazing looking christmas light things that cover the front of the house and move around disco style (they looked better than they sound) but resisted. They are very good sales people on that channel though, I will avoid in future incase I get tempted.

Our nearest BAB was awful, it wasn't when DD was little and it had just opened but we took the young DC recently and the experience was lacking. It was like being on a conveyor belt.
I'm not sure if part of it was due to the fact it was a weekend there were two parties on so it was busy. The staff seemed bored and the shop was filthy.

On a plus side they have always given us extra whenever we buy online. We bought two twenty pound ones for godchildren but only paid £20, when I ordered a Christmas Bear for DS3 they sent a £20 voucher in it's box and when I ordered an costume that was out of stock instore they sent it with a £20 voucher.
DH thinks it's a scam to get you instore spending.

Titsalinabumsquash · 15/10/2014 18:21

Where are the snowman toilet rolls?! I need some of those in my life. Grin

I also need a magazine subscription for my sister, preferably something cooking related but a reasonable price and a women's lifestyle type one or a celeb trashy one (Essentials,Heat, Closer Cosmo,)

cabster · 15/10/2014 18:23

Not bargainous but us larger ladies have less choice! If you want any Xmas clothes from Curvissa, code PNKP gets you free delivery and a free mystery gift

Iamblossom · 15/10/2014 18:25

Please can you repost the link to snowman loo roll??

Our nearest BaB is Basingstoke, though could get to Kingston. Any experiences?

Iamblossom · 15/10/2014 18:29

I bought tbis and this and they were delivered today.

They are very pretty. I am a size 10 and ordered the large, and they fit well as blousy oversize tops to wear in the winter with long sleeved t-shirts underneath, with skinny jeans or boots, and will be good in summer too (if they last that long). But for less than £2 delivered do you care??
