My throws have also arrived. I had a crafty feel through a corner of the packaging and they look and feel lovely. Now, the dilemma is to either give them to the DDs anyway now or hold on to them to make a big gift to pad out their Christmas sacks.

SpottyTeacakes · 03/10/2014 19:31

AndHarry dp would kill me if I bought that. Dd would love it!!

admiralclingus · 03/10/2014 19:48

trisis panic not, it says out of stock if they haven't received the stock to the warehouse yet. There's no stock alert option but I can keep an eye out your you and let you know when it's available?

Tris just so you know, the item you want might not be 'out of stock' as such - a lot of Christmas stock isn't actually released till November despite being in the catalogue to stop us buying it all on double discount day. Give boots.com a call to check - they are usually pretty good about telling customers release dates.

MabliHeulwen · 03/10/2014 19:52

Ah admiralclingus I see we draw our wages from the same pot! Grin

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 03/10/2014 19:52

DD is snuggled up on the sofa wrapped in her new throw as I type. I have no willpower. It is lovely, really soft and good quality.

admiralclingus · 03/10/2014 20:04

reastie try fuzzy buttons for bath bombs. My friend recommended them as her daughter suffers with terrible eczema but uses the goats milk ones from here and she says they're fan. Loads cheaper than lush too

AndHarry · 03/10/2014 20:06

Norks my 4yo loves his Duplo. He plays with Lego too but with Duplo his models get bigger more quickly so hold his interest for longer.

ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 03/10/2014 20:07

My throw arrived today, and I LOVE it. I have had a really rough week, working constantly, and today was my day off. So it came just in time for me to snuggle up on the sofa to watch Medieval Dead Grin

I really wish I'd bought more now, for presents

admiralclingus · 03/10/2014 20:07

Ahh mabli so we do! Although they might as well not bother paying me cuz they get most of it back!

admiralclingus · 03/10/2014 20:09

I love how double discount is always the week BEFORE payday

ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 03/10/2014 20:10

Have just checked, and the throw is now down to £4.00. Still not as good as 90p of course, but worth keeping an eye on

Badvoc123 · 03/10/2014 20:10

Cheap throw?

ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 03/10/2014 20:17

If anyone is regretting not purchasing The Throw, you could always get one of these for the low, low price of £3.95 Grin

AndHarry · 03/10/2014 20:17

Can anyone link the throw? I was sooo tempted first time round :o

ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 03/10/2014 20:20

Am having a bit of a giggle at the 'Customers Who Bought This Also Bought' thing on my Amazon account. Snow Glow Elsa. Womdee scarves. The mini post it notes. The popcorn maker. Oh mumsnet.....

ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 03/10/2014 20:23

This is it Harry Grin

michaelgoveisatwat · 03/10/2014 20:25

Some Frozen bits to share. I picked up one of the Barbie type 'Sparkle Princess' Elsa today in Sainsbury for the bargainous price of £8.10! Marked up as £16.99 on shelf. There are HUKD reports of some stores scanning it at £5.10 though so may be worth a look.

I also had my delivery of my Ali Express Elsa and Anna soft toys (can you sense a theme with my DD?) today. I ordered a double pack of Elsa and Anna from a seller called 'Shanghai Candy Baby'. They're not the 50cm tall ones - little bit smaller at 30ish. I got both for £9. They arrived in just under three weeks. Both have Disney labels and are pretty perfect- Anna has a slightly wonky foot so may be seconds. They will be perfect for my two year old anyway.
Now to hunt for the elusive Elsa dress to fit her.......

Feartheescalator · 03/10/2014 20:27

My local Poundlad had Christmas Peekaboo books like this one. They looked fab, I got one for DD2 and two as presents

admiralclingus · 03/10/2014 20:33

Valerie toothpaste squeezers, bumpy glow rings, smiley face toilet stickers...too funny that we've pretty much taken over Amazon!

AndHarry · 03/10/2014 20:33

Thanks :o A bargain at £7? I'm tempted by the snuggle wrap for my grandma...

ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 03/10/2014 20:37

I think it is a bargain really, it's a very good throw, good quality and its quite big too. The one I was using previously was never long enough to cover my toes, so I was always faced with a toes/boobs conundrum- which to cover, which to expose? Grin

Admiral like last year's rush on finger lights....Grin

TrisisFour · 03/10/2014 20:37

Admiral, is it wrong that I love you just a little bit???!!! The item that I want is the No 7 Pure Glamour set at £18... It would great if you can let me know when it's in? Both of the stores I went in had space for it on the shelves but said out of stock and then was out of stock online aswell!! Thanks

TrisisFour · 03/10/2014 20:42

And Mabli, thank you too!! My dsis was a Boots store Manager until 10 years ago and my other dsis was a healthcare assistant there aswell (now a manager at lidls). Looks like a good place to work!!
