Has anyone seen a chit chattin Doc McStuffins plush toy? The actual Doc one. I have Stuffy and Lambie but can't find the Doc to go with it!
Obviously the cheaper the better Grin

wibblyjelly · 28/09/2014 15:49

always not sure it was that, but Costco had some Doc McStuffin stuff in earlier.

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 28/09/2014 15:50

Well done Reastie.

More recent Very Codes as the one on the OP doesn't seem to work every time even though it's meant to be valid until 31st October...

Very : try 4R4VF or 4J4JW.
The first one is £30 off a £60 spend, the second one is £25 off a £50 spend.
They will not stack.

If anyone wants a £20 off £45 spend for Isme, pm me your name and email and I'll recommend you. In theory I get £20 for each recommendation but not entirely sure Isme are honouring them, it's hard to track as I don't know who uses the code I get sent out or not. But it's Christmas so as long as you save money it doesn't have to be all about me.

Also, The Range have been putting their stuff out and have some lovely advent calenders with little sacks/drawers/pockets cheap.

Where's best for cheap gin? I have 2kg of sloes and know of another spot so will get more in the week...

PigletJohn · 28/09/2014 15:53

ShowMeShowMeTheWine · 28/09/2014 16:24

Thanks Reastie

OodneedsanOod · 28/09/2014 16:25

Confused- I was looking at that one but they were all 4+ . Bloody Primark started this idea as we are all getting frozen t shirts this year after I bought them for dd2/3 and had already got dh one.
Last year was Dr Who!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/09/2014 16:28

I got a soft body elsa for dd2. Anna elsa and kristof barbie type dolls. Olaf Jammie's and slippers. Pants a bag, 3 types of cup (Shock) and a massive fleecy throw thingy.

My mum & brother are giving me money for some things. Makes life easier for them too.

They had the big toddler dolls and the new skating and singing dolls. It was a bit busy!!

WildFlowersAttractBees · 28/09/2014 16:31

Crikey I go away for a night and you lot need yet another thread!

I have a spare £10 off a £75 electrical spend code for Tesco if anyone wants it?

Guitargirl · 28/09/2014 16:33

Sounds lovely. I plan on having a look on Tuesday, DD isn't really into dolls but thought I would have a look after getting an email from Disney about the frozen stock. I hope there will be some things left!

CurlyWurlyCake · 28/09/2014 16:39

Jumping in!

clarinet a lot of our products are audited by a 3rd party recognized by the European Union (Notified Body). The products that don't need auditing individually are manufactured under a Quality Management System that is audited by the Notified Body, so we have to say how we design, develop, produce, package, ship and process feedback on our products (and a lot more processes) and they check that we do what we say we do. Suppliers are audited by our internal audit team for our due diligence and quality management, but they almost always get audited by a Notified Body on their own behalf too.

almamatters · 28/09/2014 16:43

Oh I KNEEEEWWWW I should have gone to the disney store today! I'm kicking myself for not going. Looks like an impromptu trip to blue water is on the cards in the morning now!

OodneedsanOod the one I bought is in age 3-4. So maybe your primark has sold out of the smaller sizes :(

o0 · 28/09/2014 17:16

Sorry, just my usual new thread post to get it on TIO.

Barbeasty · 28/09/2014 17:22

When it's DH getting a stocking full of lego it won't be my problem tidying up and as the Christmas cook I could always discover a kitchen emergency!

The horse meat scandal was discovered by precisely those random checks. And if course, once one instance was found everyone increased the % of items checked so found more.

UK sellers and manufacturers will test things, and then complaints to trading standards etc will pick up other issues.

AndHarry · 28/09/2014 17:26

Last boring bit from me :o The corporate internal auditors are hired on their CV like anyone else, then keep up to date with internal and external training. They're experts in different areas - engineering, quality processes, risk management, purchasing, design, manufacturing, post-market surveillance - so they're each looking for slightly different things. Usually one or two will go to the actual site for an audit, with the rest doing a desktop (paperwork) audit from HQ, then the next year a different team will go. That's on top of the internal audits performed by each site by their own personnel and the quality control processes that each product goes through. Of course things still go wrong but the quality management system is designed to filter out as many mistakes and design flaws as possible and stop sloppy or bad practices. The industry I'm in also requires us to have post-marketing surveillance processes, so when things go wrong we know about it and can act to stop further occurrences.

AndHarry · 28/09/2014 17:29

Ok, maybe not the last bit... My company's biggest factory in China goes through 10 external inspections and audits a year, plus internal ones. It's not like they can tidy up for one week of the year and then go back to cutting corners.
