Reastie · 03/10/2014 16:57

Angry I just wrote a post and it went all crazy and lost itself. Don't you hate it when that happens. I can't remember what I said now Blush

yay for lush christmas stock. Anyone have any christmas recommendations for DD who has very sensitive skin?

I ordered the throws too, four of them to avoid putting the heating on. They are wilkos ones and really heavy and decent quality. So, so impressed with that bargain. ThanksFlowers

Lots of barbie things reduced on Amazon, I've managed to get the 'singing barbie' that dd wanted for less than 20 quid Smile

Have a spare voucher and a £3 off makeup voucher if anyone wants it.

PamelaEwing · 03/10/2014 17:11

Ikea Goats!!!

Some Ikea Christmas stuff instore today, though not that much yet. Some grog cups and a jug, jar candles, Father Christmas retro style tray and the obligatory goats in red or grey (rather than straw)! Also saw Christmas bakeware incl. festive baking tins and cookie cutters.

Best of all were the lovely large stag/goat cushions you see in the pic for £6 in beige/red or beige/grey.

I also bought the build-it-yourself gingerbread house for £2.99 which was such a hit with us last year!

KLAXON

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

the boots christmass catalogue is out!

I hereby declare the festive season 2014 well and truly open.

On a sadder note, the November Marie Clair is out and it has a loccitane hand cream in the pack but no mention of £10 off molton brown Sad

I might get one as I use loads of hand cream and just check through it in ce, does anyone remember if it's usually noted on the cover?

On living social 12 bottles of wine for £49 from laithwaits with £1 delivery charge. Works out at £4.16 per bottle. Good if you are giving wine as gifts or have in-laws visiting!!!!!

IAlreadyToldYou · 03/10/2014 17:46

I'm loving that we have photos this year. I spent last year with some weird and wacky images in my head of ikea goats and musical Christmas tree tins. Lovely to know what they actually look like (could've googled I know - too lazy!)

IAlreadyToldYou · 03/10/2014 17:53

reastie, I know this is going to sound weird because lush products are made from natural stuff, bit I have sensitive skin and I find lush products so, so drying. There was a thread on here about lush a while back where other posters were saying the same. Maybe if you're going to try it get her something really small to test out first? I find the original source shower gels are kind to my skin and they smell gorgeous if you're looking for bathy bits. They're usually on offer in one supermarket or another.

Reastie · 03/10/2014 17:57

Ialready yes, I agree with this. DD LOVES bath bombs though, and I hope figure one bath with a drying bomb might not do too much damage?

IAlreadyToldYou · 03/10/2014 18:10

Ah, yes sure that'd be fine reastie. My mum bought me a massive box from there one year and I used it all because I'd have felt bad otherwise. As I worked my way through the box of itchy dryness I vowed to never use lush products again!

MsAspreyDiamonds · 03/10/2014 18:23

ELC big box of bricks reduced to 15 from 30.

wibblyjelly · 03/10/2014 18:24

My 90p throw has turned up, and is lovely, despite royal mail leaving it in the recycling box. Luckily it seems to have been delivered after the recycling was collected, as we have been away for the week...

Half price Barbie Dream House spotted in sainsbury's. £49.99 down from £99.99.

DaisyFlowerChain · 03/10/2014 18:33

Reastie, Lush do one called ickle baby or something like that and DS could have that one even with his excema. There's also butterball but it makes the bath very slippy but not drying at all to the skin.

chaosisawayoflife · 03/10/2014 18:36

Sorry, it was Malibu house this one

Freedom, would your dd go for a giggling doll instead? Dd has the boy and girl versions of these dolls and she loves them!! They really are very sweet. About 46cm long if I remember correctly...

I've said no to anymore dolls for dd. She has those two, plus sam and sally toddler dolls (from argos - very cute), baby annabel and loads of random others...

TrisisFour · 03/10/2014 19:23

RJ, picked up my boots catalogue today and I'm gutted that one of the things I want is already out of stock!!! I can't see an email alert option on their website so I will have to keep checking back. I refuse to buy something else for £20 that I don't really need... Ggggrrrrrrr

I cheered myself up by going into the card factory and buying 40 parcel type gift tags for 99p!! The presents are already wrapped and finally I can add the tags.

Now all I have to do is remember what was in each present and who they're for - it could be one hell of a lucky dip on xmas day!!! Grin

AndHarry · 03/10/2014 19:24

Not a bargain alert! Monsoon have just released their 'Elsa' dress, a snip at only £46.
