Poundland had Calvin Klein nail polish and another pricey make too, I think it was opi. Might be worth having a look and seeing what they have in stock f you have one local to you. I once threw out a black bag full of new clothes . Easily done. But I bet neither of us will make the same mistake again!

Crikey Lego and there's me worrying what to do about the dress up outfit I bought for dd on behalf of my brother that's got a mark on it and won't be able to change before Christmas.

Yes both Poundland and world have CK etc nail varnishes, and other good branded make up.

The year before last I managed to throw out an envelope with all our xmas money and gift cards in! Was an awful awful feeling - thankfully ours turned up in the recycling bin but we were very very lucky we realised what we had done in time! it has to have been sat in the recycling bin most of the week!

I really hope you have just mislaid the stuff but if not would people understand and cope with an iou? maybe scale down the gift giving on the replacements (for example dont spend £8 on the nail polish if you can find something else cheaper).

Oh Lego, how horrid. I once threw out a bag of ironing along with the charity bag and it was a 'collect service' who told me they had no idea what shop it had went to. I cried when I realised my fave jeans were in the bag.

The book people have fab sale gifts, perhaps not what you intended but good value replacements.
I am sure adults will understand and you could just replace the things for kids.

Oh no lego dh once chucked half of dd1's presents out from her party. Fortunately we realised but he had made the mistake at the venue so we had to sort through leftover party food on a hunt the birthday present quest. You still have a little while before Christmas. In my pre thread days I would still be in the midst of shopping! Hope you get some bargainous replacements and don't forget only you know what you were going to get - the recipients will be none the wiser.

Lego I bought some finger lights from primark last week for about £2.99-£3.99 a pack.

Primark also had mens marvel t shirts in a Marvel box near the pyjama section.

M&S have their posh biscuit tins for half price.
Their kids books were half price last week, its worth checking if they still are.

I hope you are able to replace everything & its such an awful thing to happen.

Waitrose have reduced their own brand Big box of chocolates to £5.
