Gah! Went to buy some Lego on Amazon and just seen that it was half price on Black Friday. Do they ever repeat those deals, bargain experts?

Reastie · 03/12/2013 20:57

Did anyone else order the metal card multi-tool thing from China? Mine arrived today and as the instructions are in Chinese I don't know what all the functions are! (Managed to spot the bottle-opener though Wink).

What does it DO???

Trying desperately to get hold of the bear and the hare soft toy for DD. She has SEN and normally hates songs or anything loud but loves the JL advert...even sings with it. If anyone happens to see any please let me know. Thanks.

Dogmatix34 · 03/12/2013 21:21

Mine arrived today too iheart. Have no idea what to do with it either and was surprised how vicious it looked! Had planned to give it to my Dad but too wierd so have used it as cracker pressie for DH.

NorbertDentressangle · 03/12/2013 21:28

snowgirl - one of the poundshops (Poundland I think) had a pack of 5 or 6 mini Santa hats for bottles.

Sleepstarved · 03/12/2013 21:31

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0002MG6ZE/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sorry, I don't know how to do tidy links.

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 03/12/2013 21:34

funky sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think you might really struggle to get one of those toys. Apparently they sold out really quickly when they were released and are now being sold for ridiculous £££ on eBay. Did you know that there's a bear and hare app that tells the story from the advert? It's like a book where you flip the screen to turn the pages (I read about it on here). My dc love it. Did you manage to get the pink furby your dd wanted after?

Dogmatix34 · 03/12/2013 21:44

Anyone got any of the gross/wierd science or magic kits they could recommend. Want to get one for my 8 year old nephew but some of the reviews don't look great

preggersbycheggers · 03/12/2013 21:47

mrsclaus
If you have a cargo homeshop close to you then they have spy kits in there. Can't see them on their website now though.

ItsIgginningToLookALotLikeXmas · 03/12/2013 21:49

I wish it would occur to molton Brown that just because you are buying two shower gels, doesn't mean you are giving them to the same person - two gift boxes would be nice!
Wish there was a street of just pound shops - getting really confused with the pound land, pound stretchers, B&M bargains, discount uk - I walk in and just want to run out again!

Rosvita · 03/12/2013 22:00

anadventure money taken but no scarf as of yet...

DearlyDepartedMrsFinch · 03/12/2013 22:04

funky, I think an email to JL customer services might do the trick. They might have more merchandise lying around. It'd make a lovely Christmas anecdote if they came through for your DD Smile
