If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Don't need much more but can't stand the thought of missing out on a bargain!

Dogmatix34 · 03/12/2013 17:00

Just made my own crackers for first time. For DMIL and DGIL I put the fruit post its, for DH the credit card tool thingy and for the kids the finger lights of course! All thanks to Reastie and the rest of you Thanks

AliceinSlumberland · 03/12/2013 17:18

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh I really need a cheap 2DS and no one is selling them Sad

ILiveInAPineappleCoveredInSnow · 03/12/2013 17:20

I don't really need anything else in fact when DH sees the hoard of stuff ds1 has he will probably cry as he has to find space in the toy racks except a few stockings it's for ds1 and ds2 (who is only going to be 10 weeks old anyway!).

I will probably still end up buying more stuff anyway!

Thorntons customer service is fab, my chocolate Santa arrived headless, and they sent me a new one with some extra chocolates! Think the woman felt sorry for me as I was trying to shush a crying ds2 at the time unsuccessfully and sounded like a zombie due to no sleep for three nights! so I will enjoy the chocs with the massive amount of coffee I am drinking!

Cadence in our poundland the cellophane bags were with the christmas stuff but on one of those spinney thingumyjigs in the middle of the aisle with the cupcake cases, cake boxes/stands and packets of marshmallow sticks things.

lucysmam · 03/12/2013 17:41

snowgirl poundworld had wine monkeys in earlier...just a monkey sock that'd fit a bottle. Not very festive though. I did spy some festive slipper socks somewhere though...might even have been poundland (always mooching in poundshops) that might do the job Xmas Smile

Thanks you lovely bargainous people, the personalised mugs will be in my and DH's stockings as (secretly) requested by DD2. Flowers

Sunshineonsea · 03/12/2013 17:50

Has anyone ordered the glamour magazine received the free gift?
I received first issue but no gift
I emailed them and they say gifts are limited although they will try to send me a goodwill gesture if I'm not successful in my application for the body shop gift Hmm

Any advice on what to email them back apart from send me body shop vouchers tight buggers

babysantadue · 03/12/2013 18:02

has anyone got any codes for debenhams. One on first page not working

Frozenatchristmas · 03/12/2013 18:04

I haven't got my body shop stuff either. Have Facebook messages them. Will be pissed off if that is the response but I just hope they are not waiting to see who continues with the payments rather than cancelling.

MissBeehiving · 03/12/2013 18:06

Flowers Reastie - waiting for the pre Christmas bargains now Xmas Grin

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 03/12/2013 18:11

Ah thanks, phew not going mad then! Well, they definitely weren't in the Christmas aisle but I wonder if they were on a spinny thingamyjig (love that term lucysmam Grin) will have to have another nose when I'm in there next.

MrsClauswearsspanx · 03/12/2013 18:12

I've got a slightly odd request, Bargaineers!

DS7 has decided last minute that he NEEDS spy gear stuff.

Has anyone seen anything bargainous anywhere? I'm assuming he means dark glasses, walkie talkies, notepad, binoculars, etc...?

And Thanks again for this wonderful thread!

zipzap · 03/12/2013 18:23

mrsclaus somebody asked about that on one of the early bargain threads. I seem to remember that there was stuff recommended that you could get on eBay, including an ID card thing ,that was maybe personalised and from eBay, that was particularly popular...

Hopefully somebody else will remember a bit more detail and be able to give you better directions so you don't have to trawl through thousands of messages!

garlicbaubles · 03/12/2013 18:25

I'm not sure whether this is the right kind of thing, but fwiw: I've bought quite a bit of fake Tiffany silver jewellery from this Chinese Ebay seller. It's NOT silver, I tested it, but the items are bloody good copies and very cheap. The tiffany-alike pieces carry the logo, trademark & everything although he blanks them out in the photos ... Delivery's pretty good, about 12 days, so just in time for Christmas extras.

MrsClauswearsspanx · 03/12/2013 18:31

Oh thank you zipzap I will have a little search on Ebay now...

Sunshineonsea · 03/12/2013 18:34

frozen they say 28 days for delivery, how long ago did you order yours?
I will keep my subscription as I do buy glamour mag every month but I don't want a crappy substitution (the current offer is seventeen make up)

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 03/12/2013 18:48

Has anyone received their bird scarf yet?

Anniemousse · 03/12/2013 19:16

I need help please! I would like to buy my niece a starter play dough tools set

I don't want a themed set i.e. cupcakes/ice cream factory. Just basic dough and tools.

I like this Melissa and Doug set and this ELC soft stuff set but ideally want to spend around £10. ELC stuff is at argos/mothercare and other places so any relevant codes would be fab. Or do I need to hold my courage and hope for elc to cut the price by 50%??

I have seen some playdoh activity barrels and boxes but they don't seem to consist of much when you look at it - would ideally like extruders, rolling pins, cutters, scissors etc and some dough.

BTW thank you to whoever posted about the BOOTS/SANCTUARY website glitch - got 6 Sanctuary sets for the price of 2!!

SolidGold · 03/12/2013 19:19

Has anyone signed up for the Virgin wine deal? On MSE they have a link to a 12 bottle case for £39.99 for the Discovery Club. (Sorry can't post link, on phone.) Just wondered what the wine is like, is it cheap and horrible or worthwhile?

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 03/12/2013 19:23

Poundland sometimes have play dough tools (I bought some there last month).

ChristmasFairyLights · 03/12/2013 19:24

Need to order some flowers online. Any suggestions for best quality / price?

SpottyChristmasCakes · 03/12/2013 19:24
