Had to post because I am so Angry with VERY. I ordered a fur real friends kitty from there to use up my voucher which made it the equivalent of getting it at the cheap prices I'd seen in Argos, Amazon, etc. this was the end of November and delivery wasn't until 14 December but I was ok with that. Had a feeling this would go wrong for me so checked my account tonight and delivery is now 24 January. I am fuming, especially as no one even informed me. Won't be using them again!

grapesmummy · 08/12/2013 22:49

Noticed when I logged into my online banking this eve (Lloyds) they have a thing called everyday offers, where you get cashback if you use your debit card in certain retailers. You need to activate it on your account but it includes argos 5%, play 10%, asos 10%, new look 5%.

notso · 08/12/2013 23:11

Just wrapping DS2's birthday present, he is 3 tomorrow. He's having a bargain micro scooter and bargain M&S big boy pants in an attempt to persuade him out of nappies Hmm

Anyone seen any good deals on flower deliveries? My lovely Mum was babysitting for us last night and fell down the stairs breaking her leg Sad she is very fed up. I can't help but feel responsible even though I know it wasn't my fault.

SpicedTeaAndXmasCakeOrDeath · 08/12/2013 23:14

notso amazon local has a half price flower delivery, £20 instead of £40?

BeaWheesht · 08/12/2013 23:21

Pound land had the peppa annual in.

Have just finished wrapping - ds has a much smaller pile than dd and I am feeling the twitch big time - help! It's all the fault of bloody Star Wars Lego which costs the earth but comes in a tiny box!

Mellowandfruitful · 08/12/2013 23:41

I have spent about 6 hours wrapping so far and that's not even half the stuff. It gets tiring very quickly, and I have to keep switching between kneeling and sitting cross legged. Maybe I should try the ironing board - I do have one Xmas Smile

Has anyone seen Christmas pyjamas with penguins on? DS has asked for penguin pjs and these from Next look best but are sold out online. I'll try the nearest stores to me but thought I would aim to line up some other penguin options...

hoppingmad · 08/12/2013 23:51

Thank you zipzap Thanks

ValiumQueen · 09/12/2013 02:20

Has anyone seen Monsters University on DVD for less than £16? And is it likely to be on Sky within a week of purchase?

ILiveInAPineappleCoveredInSnow · 09/12/2013 03:30

Mellow Primark had some fleece ones a few weeks ago when I was in. I bought some for my nephew, can't remember how much they were, but it wasn't a lot.

notso the above KGB deal is for half price flowers from debenhams.

I've ordered them through this deal in the past and they've been lovely.

Also you get quidco cash back for KGB deals.

valiumqueen they have monsters university at bigdaddy.co.uk for £7 but I can't see if postage is extra on top and I haven't heard of them to know how reliable they are as a site to use.

And I'm sure sainsburys have had it for £10 in store which usually means they have for the same price and free delivery on their online DVD site - so a known trusted site and nectar points if you collect them. And sometimes cashback too if you check the cashback sites. I tried to look but their site is down for maintenance at the moment.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 09/12/2013 06:00

Happy birthday mini-Notso!

You are making me twitch the lot of you with your wrapping! I don't even get to my parcels until the 20th!

Oreo- almost everywhere has cut the photo calendars now, I have an inbox full of offers. I do agree with you that Photobox def best quality though and big cashback too IIRC.

KillashandraRee · 09/12/2013 08:07

Anyone seen any good food gifts for ten pounds or less? I need to buy some for DH family and normally do chocs biscuits or wine cannot get to a shop before Saturday and need them for Sunday so any advice on where to look appreciated.

cuddlymoomoo · 09/12/2013 08:11

Tesco have 2 for £20 on all of those DVDs - Monsters University, Despicable Me 2 etc.

£9.99 on Amazon for Monsters Uni
www.amazon.co.uk/Monsters-University-DVD-John-Goodman/dp/B00742SYLY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386576651&sr=8-1&keywords=monsters+university+dvd

cuddlymoomoo · 09/12/2013 08:13

Looks like they're £10 each at Asda too

HMV site isn't working but definitely saw Wreck It Ralph there for £5.99 (instore)

cuddlymoomoo · 09/12/2013 08:16

Poundland had Zhu Zhu baby sets for anyone doing the Tesco bundle - make it even bigger!

Also, Home Bargains had this: www.amazon.co.uk/Batman-Visual-Dictionary-Universe-Heroes/dp/1409386015/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386576900&sr=8-1&keywords=batman+lego+book

It's a Batman Lego visual dictionary - you get a little figure too. RRP is £14.99, they had it for £2.99. I've put it with a Batman toothbrush, tumbler, toothpaste, mouthwash set from them that was £1.99 so nice bulky gift for a fiver!

cuddlymoomoo · 09/12/2013 08:17

They also had lots of Dark Knight Rises figures for £2.99

www.homebargains.co.uk/products/8041-batman-dark-knight-rises-4-action-figures-assorted.aspx

Stars Wars vehicles for £6.99, and Skylanders Duplo at least half price

Mama1980 · 09/12/2013 08:17

The book people have free delivery with the code DANCING today only I think it's their 9th day of Christmas deal.

Weknowwhoyouare · 09/12/2013 08:54

Keep forgetting to post this.

this show is using fingerlights. Is it any of you lot?

cuddlymoomoo · 09/12/2013 09:42

Still looking for an Xbox One - I've been told that website stock levels aren't accurate so if anyone sees one in a real life shop that I could get to (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh), I would really appreciate it if they could let me know! Thank you Smile

MooseyMoo · 09/12/2013 09:52
