Just gone to link to amazon for monopoly and its gone up to £14! I bought it a few days ago at £6.66 as that was their lowest price.

TwllBach · 07/12/2013 20:37

GinotPrigio* when did you subscribe to Glamour? I'm only asking so I can gauge how soon mine might come...

GinotPrigio · 07/12/2013 20:39

No worries Auntiebaba, their prices change so quickly

BobCrotchstitch · 07/12/2013 20:39

funky my DM (who incidentally is amazing at bargain hunting but has never got past The Google on the internet) went to a JL today and asked about the bear and hare soft toys. Apparently they WILL be having more in after Christmas, though they are trying to push them through quickly because of the high demand Xmas Grin

GinotPrigio · 07/12/2013 20:42

TwllBach I have an email from them on 15th October confirming my subscription so I guess it must have been then. Fingers crossed yours will arrive soon.

spanky2 · 07/12/2013 20:43

I ordered gloves for dh from China on the 20.11 and they arrived on Friday .

TwllBach · 07/12/2013 20:56

Thanks Ginot I got my email on November 25th so fingers crossed...

Funkybutnot · 07/12/2013 21:32

Is everyone wrapping do early? It was ds birthday on Friday so have been busy with that. I don't want to peak to earlyShock

dementedma · 07/12/2013 21:54

This year I have been wrapping as I go which has been so much easier!
Everything bought and wrapped and under the tree. Job done!

ChristmasJumperWearer · 07/12/2013 21:54

janx fear not, I haven't wrapped a single thing. I am vvvv organised about buying presents but hopeless about the wrapping.

One year I was wrapping until about 2am on Christmas morning.

ohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuck

janx · 07/12/2013 21:58

In fact I REALLY need to stop buying now before I break my bank account.

Lots and lots of bargains and some brilliant recommendations from here. Thanks Mnet.

Physionic · 07/12/2013 22:45

boughttoomuch I signed up for sun plus when it was for a £10 morrisons voucher and cancelled after 2 weeks. Voucher arrived this week (took nearly a month) but whilst signed up to sun plus I entered a giveaway for Calvin Klein lip glosses and 3 arrived this week so definitely worth the effort.

Hawkmoth · 07/12/2013 23:49

FionasFatFairy · 08/12/2013 07:31

Spotty, is it worth getting a family rail card? Sometimes you then get discounts off the adult prices. I know mum always used to use one www.railcard.co.uk/

It may not be worth it, depends how often you use the Train

SpottyChristmasCakes · 08/12/2013 07:45

I don't think so, usually if we go it's on a Saturday and it's about £40 but because we're going on a Wednesday it's nearing £70 Hmm it's ridiculous we're only an hour from London.

SpottyChristmasCakes · 08/12/2013 08:15

Also the dc are under five so we don't qualify. Add that to the parking fine dp got yesterday.... Hmm

LaTrucha · 08/12/2013 08:20

I've just been asked to get some long black gloves for Christmas fr my stemother. Preferrably leather, definitely nice. Need to be available online. Any ideas? I love these but they are NOT a bargain.
