Went to the school Christmas Fair last night and the prize on the lucky dip were the finger lights which all the kids went wild for. I now have suspicions about the organiser being an Mner. Anyhoo when everyone left to walk up the lane to the cars, the finger lights were brill - it was like a torchlight procession Grin

Ocado weren't able to deliver all the items I ordered. I added a Trunki to an order on Tuesday for delivery on Thursday. When I tried to change the time for delivery it said the item was out of stock so I left it as originally booked but on the day of the order it was a missing item.

Went out wearing my bird scarf today - it is lovely.

Christmas market was very over-priced, though - I can't remember what I paid for my solar powered dancing flower, but I know it wasn't the £5 they were charging.

Cat have you any continental markets nearby? I Was at one on Thursday night and they had cheese stalls with strawberry cheese as well as sticky toffee cheese and chocolate cheese??

I love the fact that as we get nearer christmas you'd think they thread would get loads busier but actually it's slowed down as we must all be very organised Grin

Am hoping to start wrapping tonight when dd3 goes to bed. Not sure where to store everything when its wrapped so going to take a while to get it done.

Did anybody try the truffles recipe? I picked up the ingredients today ready to make for the teachers next weekend. I've already got cellophane bags from Poundland (called presentation bags, it's a pack of 20 and comes with ribbon) to make them look a bit fancier.

Only 2 more pages since I last checked this yesterday. Are you all done or something Xmas Grin. We went to one of our local towns today and it was surprisingly quiet. DP was going to go into GAP for his annual stock up of jeans etc but then found out the queue to pay was taking over 30mins and was snaking out of the shop!

I started wrapping at 10.30 this morning and finished at 5. That's enough to stop any twitching for me! My mum took the 14w old DTs which in retrospect was a godsend because there's no way I would have got it done otherwise.
