You can still use a railcard but you have to buy a ticket for one of the children, in your case it probably won't help but sometimes if it's a very expensive longer journey it can work out cheaper.

SpottyChristmasCakes · 08/12/2013 08:28

No won't help us unfortunately but worth knowing Smile I wonder if it would be significantly cheaper if we drove up to Guildford or Woking first....

Nanny25 · 08/12/2013 08:31

psysionic How do you cancel the Sun+ thing? I received my voucher yesterday so want to cancel now. Thanks

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/12/2013 08:46

I cancelled sun plus via their live chat.

missmakesstuff · 08/12/2013 09:13

I have now wrapped nearly all the presents - making up hampers last night plus wrapping DD's presents took nearly 5 hours last night...

I still have to wrap up the PIL stuff to send to ireland, plus a few other little presents for friends, including another 3 hampers..

I enjoy that bit though, the tree is up and a bottle of red (bargainous, from tesco, under £3!) helped the task a bit..

I am glad to hear someone got a free gift for a subscription, I have had nothing from two hearst subscriptions or the glamour mag, going to do a bit of emailing this morning...

I now need to consider what to get DH for his 40th birthday in January - so I am not done buying! question is, do I wait until the sales, or just get it over with?

MulledWineGless · 08/12/2013 09:19

Morning all
I have to buy small size men's pyjamas for one of my nephews. Which would be my best deal? I see that m&s have 20% off. Are thee any codes for free delivery as I cba collecting from a store? Have done search on mse and Hukd but can't see anything

Physionic · 08/12/2013 09:19

I cancelled sun plus the same way as fluffycloud via live chat

zipzap · 08/12/2013 09:24

latrucha try tk maxx for gloves - just do a search on the site. They have lots by people like osprey, Calvin Klein, dents etc that should be £50-100 for £20-30 (not sure if they have any as long as the ones in your picture though).

They also have some Armani fingerless gloves for £140ish instead of £370ish... (would have thought they could have given you the full fingers for that price Grin).

easylife73 · 08/12/2013 09:25

MulledWine try MANGER61 at M&S for free delivery...worked for me last night.

MooseyMoo · 08/12/2013 09:28

I'm planning on wrapping the kids presents next Sat (when they are at the inlaws) and then will wrap the family presents. I love wrapping will either have Love Actually on or listen to xmas songs. My faves is Christmas Wrapping and The Pogues.

LaTrucha - how about these gloves from Warehouse? If you like them, I have a one time use 20% off code for full price items which expires today.

MulledWineGless · 08/12/2013 09:29

Easy life thanks but that has now expired Sad

I've found out that I can collect from a smaller store near where I am working on a Tuesday which should be less stressful than the big store which was giving mean anxiety attack just thinking about it!

MooseyMoo · 08/12/2013 09:32

Figleaves have 25% off and free delivery with 25FREEDEL

Nanny25 · 08/12/2013 09:36

fluffy and physionic thank you for your help have now cancelled.

Mama1980 · 08/12/2013 09:47

T

MooseyMoo · 08/12/2013 09:49

Seasalt have free delivery until Monday. Their jute bags have got some festive designs - would make a lovely package if you are doing a hamper.

XmasAngel13 · 08/12/2013 10:04

Spotty. Where are you travelling from ? I think Guildford to London rtn is about £24 but then factor in car parkingon top. Have you checked prices on National Rail website to look at options ?

homebirthingtotallyrocks · 08/12/2013 10:30

You can have a family railcard with under 5s just have to get 1 a ticket and it's always cheaper.

GlitteredPinecones · 08/12/2013 10:40

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I've just bought a couple of party dresses (for me Xmas Grin) from Tesco clothing. I found a couple of codes on HUKD- 10% off sale items with code FFSANTA (it ends in 13 or so hours) plus if you're a new customer (or use a new email address Xmas Wink) then you can use code FFAW13 for £5 off a £25 spend. I got 2 lovely dresses, one was originally £30 down to £15 in the sale and the other was originally £25 down to £15 and I got them both for £22 in total!

neddle · 08/12/2013 10:47

Anyone found a good price on a PS4 camera?

zipzap · 08/12/2013 11:15

eBay have currently got a big 'up to 60% off big brands' sale on (just on selected buy it now stuff from shops that sell on there rather than everything on there)

Also play.com seem to have gadgets like soda stream, Aeropresso, cupcake baker, halogen oven etc AA it's deal of the day; not checked out how the pricescompare.

zipzap · 08/12/2013 11:21

Oh. And tesco photo have half price deals on lots of things at the moment, including photobooks. They also have photomugs for £3.75 this weekend so if you do want one you'll need to act quickly!

KungFuBustle · 08/12/2013 11:22

£2.00 cufflinks inc delivery. Stocking filler for DH.

I'm having technical problems but I got a lovely fruit of the loom hoodie for DS and DH for £8 and £10 and they are great quality from Amazon. Sorry can't link.

GlitteredPinecones · 08/12/2013 11:29

This is a good bargain for those baking over Christmas or for cakes in hampers etc. Edible cake toppers here, they're £1.89 for a pack of 48 and if you buy 2 packs, you get one free.
