Thank you for the book people free delivery code. Grabbed a bargain in the sale. Unfortunately I bank with Natwest so my evening of finishing the Christmas shopping as been ruined Xmas Angry

busyprocrastinating · 02/12/2013 20:56

Oops an 'h' missing there. And yes Auntie everything on my wish list has really shot up in price

Crutchlow35 · 02/12/2013 20:57

Got my second glamour mag today but still no body shop. Does anyone have their number?

PoopPoooDeDooo · 02/12/2013 21:02

Thanks Auntiebaba just got a cosytoes rrp £48 for £19.20 Grin

lazzaroo · 02/12/2013 21:06

No bargains for me tonight thanks to Natwest & their latest glitch! So much for cyber Monday!

missmakesstuff · 02/12/2013 21:12

I like sweetpeas - I subscribed to Zest, and Glamour, and Company - had nothing from any of them. If they don't send me anything after taking my £3 I will be writing to them for a refund, bastards!

Had no gifts from any of them, got to do all the phone calls to complain, just don't have the bloody time...

Ilikesweetpeas · 02/12/2013 21:20

Missmakesstuff I contacted glamour about a month ago re the body shop gift. They told me they were waiting for more stock due to high demand! Heard nothing since though... Like you I just don't have time to chase up, at least not at a time when they are open

snowgirl1 · 02/12/2013 21:22

BeaWheest the Poundland cellophane bags are 20 for £1

BuddyKringleberry · 02/12/2013 21:26

I'm looking for a bargain gift (£10 max but pref something that cost more originally Wink) for a seven year old boy, ten year old boy and 13 year old girl.

I've got a complete mind blank on what to get them x

EweHaveGoatToBeSkiddinInSnow · 02/12/2013 21:28

Still no Gorillapod! Anyone else having any luck with it yet?

On another note, have any of you bought the Princess Sofia castle? DD has her heart set on it. But the thing costs £60! And apparently it's terrible, going from reviews, and lots of people have been complaining it doesn't work properly. Then you need to get one or two sets to go with it, so another £30 gone.

I wouldn't mind getting it if it was worth it. But if it's just going to fall to pieces as soon as she looks at it, I'll try and gently let her down.

CatAmongThePigeons · 02/12/2013 21:35

NatWest has killed my shopping too. Xmas Angry I've spent 2 hours trying to get my order checked out on Tesco clothing, for NatWest to go down. Useless arses.

InTheRedCorner · 02/12/2013 21:39

Did we break Natwest with all our bargin shopping?

CatAmongThePigeons · 02/12/2013 21:41

Buddy for the 7 year old there's some Angry Birds games in Home Bargains for about £4-£6, rrp £20. It's huge among all the 7 year old boys I know Xmas Smile

Prizepudding · 02/12/2013 21:46

EWEHAVE, my dd has the sofia castle, she bought with her birthday money and we got it for £45 (toys r us price matched smyths and were also doing 20% discount)

I wasn't keen as heard it was plastic tat which it is really for the money, BUT she has played with it constantly and loves it. The stairs tend to fall off and one of the turrets keeps falling off but easily fixable, just a bit of a pain. We have some of the dolls, you don't really need the additional sets but my dd found out the voices depend on what colour is placed on the board so you can hear all the phrases without purchasing all the dolls.

Asda currently doing it for £45 if u can get instore, out of stock online.

BeaWheesht · 02/12/2013 21:55

buddy
Am clueless on the older ones but ds is almost 7 and would love anything angry birds related, anything football related and anything Star Wars related.

Also I've bought this for ds which is less than Half price and he will love

Oreocrumbs · 02/12/2013 21:58

Ouch, I'm almost done. My card is smoking here beside me! Just need one bottle of perfume, 4 mugs and to sort out the photo calendars, but I'm waiting for my cousin to email some pictures.

BHS has up to 30% off everything and free del today.

Boots has some deals - haven't really searched as I have been looking for specific things, but got a bottle of Stella 50ml for £29.66.

Have a look through quidco - lots of places have free del, good cash back special deals on for today.

EweHaveGoatToBeSkiddinInSnow · 02/12/2013 22:01

Thank you so much, Prize! You've convinced me. Xmas Grin I'll head to Asda tomorrow and hopefully get one. If not, i think Smyths are doing it for £55.

BornToFolk · 02/12/2013 22:13

I'm stuck for ideas for my littlest niece! She'll be 21 months old at Christmas and has a 6 year old sister, so between them they have lots of toys already.

Any ideas? Budget around £20. I thought I might get a rag doll as I got one for her sister at a similar age but I can't remember where I got it, and now can't find any I like!

Oreocrumbs · 02/12/2013 22:15

Ah the penny has dropped. I had my RBS card turned down earlier and presumed I put my security in wrong (new card). RBS is part of Natwest isn't it?

Hmm. I'm fortunate I have another bank too, but that is really crap for those who don't.

Littlemissexpecting · 02/12/2013 22:24

I'm not very impressed with debenhams. Paid the £6 for next day delivery and had an email saying that it won't actually be here tomorrow but they will let me know when it's dispatched. What do you think are my chances of getting my £6 back? I would have done collect at store but they say it can take 5 days!! On the plus side if you need perfume they seem to be cheapest at the minute.

SugarplumKate · 02/12/2013 22:28

Has anyone seen some Nordic type design red and white mugs please? X

yellowsun · 02/12/2013 22:30

Sugarplum - M&S have some snowflake small ones and stag big ones.

ChristmasJumperWearer · 02/12/2013 22:32
