I ordered the Body Shop set here www.thebodyshop.co.uk/gifts/over-30-gifts/complete-collection.aspx used code SANTA from MSE website so it was half price, went through Quidco for 14% cashback and used my Body Shop 'love your body' card for further 10% off so a bargain total price of £23.22!

Kiddicare are 3 for 2 on all toys excluding Lamaze, some good deals to be had, particularly if you're looking to buy expensive things like play kitchens etc

Auntiebaba · 27/11/2013 22:01

20% off at ASOS with the code 20FORYOU. Just bought some posh sunglasses for DH with it! They have some fab stuff in their gifts section too.

Picturesinthefirelight · 27/11/2013 22:09

So we're not getting scarves? :(
I filled the advent drawers today - the finger lights are the perfect size!

missmakesstuff · 27/11/2013 22:23

I am marking my place. I have bought nearly everything I need to now, just need some baileys minis for the pamper sets I am making and some cheap pint glasses for the mens sets. Hoping to get them locally somewhere (no B and M or home bargains nearby, sob)

I am making loads of stuff this year though, which is making me a bit stressed, although I enjoy it...making garlic pots, graters and have bought brushes and garlic peelers, plus will get some poshly wrapped garlic and a few other spices to go with, all for around a £5 spend..not including my time though making the graters (round dishes with a serrated surface) and the pots.

Is this a stupid idea for gifts for people at work though? they like cooking, two are Indian and use lots of spices and garlic in cooking, think it might go down ok...

My problem is now when to put it all together! I can just see me slaving away every weekend till Xmas getting all the hampers etc put together...also have cookies and savoury biscuits to make...

iheartdusty · 27/11/2013 22:29

20% off Neals Yard until Friday, on-line and in store. It doesn't look as though you need a code.

I have just succumbed to the big Quercetti marble run on Amazon lightning deals, it's definitely a good price for it but I already had enough for DS. More than enough. Must..step..away..from..the..computer...

snowgirl1 · 27/11/2013 22:29

I've followed this thread since the 2nd thread and I've finally been brainwashed ordered the fingerlights. I hope they arrive before 15 Dec when we have some friends and their kids coming round - do I have any chance? Also just ordered the gloves from the OP for use with ipads etc. (saw them in a catalogue today for £10.95 - they are a bargain at 95p on Amazon!).

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 27/11/2013 22:33

Ooh a Despicable Me unicorn, dd would live one if those. Where did you get it TheImpossibleGirl?

cuddlymoomoo · 27/11/2013 22:51

My Xmas gift to myself has to be thinking before I type, so that stupid comments don't become thread titles twice in a row Hmm . . .

Despicable Me unicorns and 20% off ASOS you say?

LaTrucha · 27/11/2013 22:51

Nice elephant scarf. LMAO at 'dark silver'as the colour though. Do they mean grey?

I have to see this unicorn..... I haven't seen the film (it's for Christmas Eve) but I ned to see the unicorn.

That OP has to win some sort if a prize, if only a karmic one. Reastie, thank you.

InTheRedCorner · 27/11/2013 22:51

I also would like definatly don't need the unicorn link.

Our bank account is empty till Friday, how did that happen?

LaTrucha · 27/11/2013 22:52

cuddlymoomoo - you clearly have a natural talent for a turn of phrase.

cuddlymoomoo · 27/11/2013 22:53

ASOS code doesn't work Sad

Auntiebaba · 27/11/2013 23:09

Cuddly, I was sent the ASOS code too and think it went to premier customers only. Just used mine to buy a maternity coat already in the sale. According to the email it can only be used by the account linked to the email address it was sent to so not sure if that's why?

Theimpossiblegirl · 27/11/2013 23:10

It's so fluffy unicorn
