Are there any free delivery codes for the book people that are valid at the moment?

zipzap · 02/12/2013 17:34

Who was looking for toy cars?

Debenhams have some one day cyber deals including 50% off some toys, then a further 10% off with code GM42 and free delivery.

This includes a box of 20 toy cars for £12.50 which would be £11.25 delivered. Topcashback are currently offering 5.25% cashback, not sure about the others but worth checking if you use any.

zipzap · 02/12/2013 17:38

Has anybody seen the Ravensburger Labyrinth game at a good price? I've only been able to find it at £15 and I missed it when the price dropped briefly on amazon - by the time I saw the camelcamel update, the price was already back up Sad

thepobblewhohasnotoes · 02/12/2013 17:40

That Book People sale is great thanks :) Got 10 Julia Donaldson books for £10, the whole Booker Prize Shortlist for £24. the entire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy + Two Dirk Gently books for £9, brilliant!

(Prices are from memory, I may be a little out!)

zipzap · 02/12/2013 17:47

beawheest - how big do you need your cellophane bags to be?

I've just checked on ebay and there are over 10,00 listings on buy it now alone plenty of suppliers... for example 4x6 inch bags - 100 for £2.40 including delivery

or 50 santa or sparkle mini bags for £1.89

Not knowing what size you want or how urgently you want them, there's no point me putting lots of different ones on here - just have a look and I'm sure you'll soon find something suitable!

zipzap · 02/12/2013 17:56

Anybody still looking for a furby straight stripes? There's a big 60% off sale on ebay at the moment - from the shops that use it rather than individual sales - and they have this furby for £45

Loads of other stuff on there - nice dartington decanter and glasses for £18 instead of nearly £100, big bang box set for £18, clothes, electronics, dvds, snow scooters (think of a scooter, take the wheels off, swap the standing board for a snow-board/sledge) for £13, barbie styling head (think Girl's World if you're of a certain age like me), lava lamps, tools, watches, cookery stuff and more...

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 02/12/2013 18:14

1muddymummy · 02/12/2013 19:11

Is there a deal on at not on the high street or was it just a link to the page?

Oreocrumbs · 02/12/2013 19:36

Argh today has been a loooong day! But after a very through interrogation, I have screwed the last of my people down and will be buying their presents tonight.

The Harrods saga continues....Went to work this morning, DB was actually in the roof. He has been down since yesterday, so worry not. DB likes the keyring, but then I say I like the bag. Then he says he likes the more expensive bag. Then one of the ladies comes in and says something about a harrods bauble.

Bauble? Bauble? Yes apparently they want a harrods bauble in a bag.

Am by this point tempted to buy them a train ticket and send them down there myself with my debit card, just to take the decision making out of my hands.

So now, I'm off to find a frigging Harrod's bauble, in/and a bag.

Ilikesweetpeas · 02/12/2013 19:38

Reastie- Clinton's link in OP no longer works

Any ideas for small gifts for 2 ladies in their late 60's, about £5 each. Maybe scarves / gloves. Seen some on amazon but delivery will be too slow.

Anyone seen working Moulton Brown codes? Flowers

DrankSangriaInThePark · 02/12/2013 19:45

Whatever you find on NotHS will always be about 10times cheaper on ebay I find.....(was looking at some personalised map things which were £17 on ebay and £49 on NotHS!!!)

DrankSangriaInThePark · 02/12/2013 19:45

Did anyone else get their first issue of Zest today (dove gift) together with a letter saying the magazine has ceased publication? Not had the gift yet, or the body shop one from Glamour Sad. That's two more presents I need to buy!

Auntiebaba · 02/12/2013 20:31

Mothercare are doing a different "deal of the day' each day. Today they have footmuffs half price and their extra 20% off on top too (ends tonight). Not Christmassy but if you need one they're a bargain. I just bought a maclaren one which was £60 down to £24 Smile
