Ooh that's good Crocodile, I'll dig out the receipt and try and take it back tomorrow!

TheXmasLogIn · 25/11/2013 20:16

HarrietJones I've just been in my local Sainsbury's, they had the Jelly Bean mugs for £5.33, or the takeaway type coffee cups with lids for £5.99. Don't know if you have found one elsewhere yet, but I'm happy to get one and post it to you, if you are still looking :)

BarfaStewart · 25/11/2013 20:21
Thanks

Chocolateteabag · 25/11/2013 20:39

Anyone else watching BBc1 "Amazon: truth behind the click" and feeling a bit lot guilty

Obviously not guilty enough to stop looking at the Black Friday deals.... Blush

notso · 25/11/2013 20:40

Jack Frost DVD is only £2.75 from Amazon.
DD and DS1 love that film now after a couple of years of refusing to watch it because they thought it was scary!

LaTrucha · 25/11/2013 20:57

Debenhams codes in the OP expired

Pumpkintopf · 25/11/2013 21:01

Cuddlymoomoo - "I'll do a lot for a Xmas bargain but I won't put fairy lights on my nipples . . ."

Gets my vote for next thread title Grin

Funkybutnot · 25/11/2013 21:05

notso · 25/11/2013 21:18

Yes Pumpkin I second!

ProtectiveMother · 25/11/2013 21:19

What age are your kids notso?

BabyDubsEverywhere · 25/11/2013 21:19

TheIggorcist · 25/11/2013 21:19

Just noticing molton brown now do a nicer handcream for a tenner - useful if needing to add up to a certain amount for a discount!
Zipzap I am instantly wondering if the faraway zoo might be the ones near me (that has the pandas) - if so perhaps I could trade you something for it?! Meant to be doing marking tonight and instead buying scarves off ebay Blush

notso · 25/11/2013 21:25

Protective 13, 9, 2.11 and 19 months.

Mellowandfruitful · 25/11/2013 21:30

Is there a way of searching for all the add-ons on Amazon? I am probably being dim but I can't work it out. Have a 7.50 item in my basket and want to scour for a useful top-up item.

ProtectiveMother · 25/11/2013 21:36

Ah right yes notso think too scary for my 2 littler ones then. Always looking for good films as my kids are very fussy.

raisah · 25/11/2013 21:37

HarrietJones TkMaxx have the jelly bean mugs, takeaway mugs and assorted merchandise. I didn't check the prices as I was trying to stop dd from running around like a lunatic.

TwllBach · 25/11/2013 21:54

Thanks to you marvellous, wonderful posters I have spent £45.90 on £139.95 of stuff and done all my Christmas shopping bar my dad who will probably end up with a hamper of Special Toffee from Thorntons.

ProtectiveMother · 25/11/2013 22:00

Wow Tywllbach. What are you getting everyone ? (Stuck for ideas!)

PoopPoooDeDooo · 25/11/2013 22:04

Thanks Zipzap, Tilly and Kingthistle for your help on the map thingy Thanks

Can anyone remember if it was last year or the year before that Buildabear did a deal on festive teddies? DD really wants a rudolf bear and I would love to put one in the CHristmas Eve hamper. Or are there any valid codes?

The other issue is I'd then have to think of something to put in the hamper for DS (8) Hmm any ideas? Grin

notso · 25/11/2013 22:09

Grin protective I forgot about the Jack Frost post and was wondering why you were asking. I feared you knew me in RL!
I can't remember how old DD was when she first saw it. I think about 6 or 7. She only saw one bit when he first comes to life and cried her eyes out. Then she put DS1 off and it took me ages to persuade them to watch it again. I love it but it makes me cry!

PoopPoooDeDooo · 25/11/2013 22:12

Ohhh meant to say that character.com have 50% off with code SANTA

notso · 25/11/2013 22:13

They did a Black Friday one last year and I think the year before Poop
It started at midnight I seem to remember.
I am also on the lookout for festive cuddly creatures, preferably a reindeer or snowman. Started a tradition with DD and now I have to buy 4 every year!

TwllBach · 25/11/2013 22:15

I am resolutely only buying for my parents and my nan this year as my and DP are saving for a wedding. He bought me an engagement ring for my birthday last week so he is a bit strapped for cash now I imagine Grin

I am really stuck for ideas too so have gone for the bath stuff and chocolates mostly!
