MrsAFlowerpot · 24/11/2013 21:17

Another just to say I was Angry about the photobox postage with the canvas. But tried to add 30 6x4 pics and postage increased to £10.45!!!!

Mipe · 24/11/2013 21:19

Can't do links on my stupid phone!

Fisher price 'my first doll' £12 down to £6 on Amazon today.

TooWetToWoo · 24/11/2013 21:38

I have a £5 off code for Photobox if anybody wants it. It looks like a unique code so first to PM can have it. It's valid until Thursday.

PoopPoooDeDooo · 24/11/2013 21:41

Has anyone seen one of those 'places I have been' scratch off map of the world things? Would ideally like one for less than £10. Or any ideas for similar would be appreciated Smile

PigtailsAndPlaits · 24/11/2013 21:42

Bit of a random cry for help, My mum works with Autistic Adults and one of the people she looks after has asked for a CrossRail Train for christmas, it must be blue as only blue will do and as cheap as possible. Please please can someone help?? Thank you

Funkybutnot · 24/11/2013 21:49

pigtailsandplats awwwwe how kind of your Mum.

Is it an actual train or track?

I completely understand what you mean by only blue will do! Wink this is the reason I'm still looking for the baby pink furby plush! Lol.

TooWetToWoo · 24/11/2013 21:53

Photobox code gone now.

Nix01 · 24/11/2013 21:53

This book looks interesting for those hard to buy for people: www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/qs_product_tbp?productId=439380&storeId=10001&catalogId=&langId=100&searchTerm=bonkers

I also got free delivery using a code that was provided here ONKE (thanks to whoever it was that posted above).

Book details: This laugh-out-loud collection of facts and anecdotes of how Britain has gone completely bonkers in its quest for health-and-safety perfection will provide plenty of giggles amongst friends and family this Christmas time. From cardboard egg boxes deemed too dangerous to have in the classroom (not to mention loo roll), and the pear tree that was forcibly removed from a country lane due to the threat it posed, to the horse chestnut tree stripped of its fruits after the fear that avid searchers may find the perfect sixer for conker games and subsequent blameable damages... The ridiculous findings in here are endless, some unbelievable, and all brilliantly amusing. A great little hardback perfect for popping in a friend's stocking this year

IHeartKingThistle · 24/11/2013 21:54

Poop firebox has them but they're £14.99.

TillySwat · 24/11/2013 21:56

janx · 24/11/2013 21:56

Anyone seen a nice cheap large box? Have got ds some lego from ebay that hasn't got a box. Needs to be about 45cmx45cmx45cm

emmameghan · 24/11/2013 21:58

I have tried Photobox and vistaprint this week to do calendars, both wanted £8.50 delivery for 1 calendar!!!! Just ordered 2 calendars from Photoworld using the code MSECAL75 gave me 75% off so 2 A4 calendars inc postage for £13.99 Grin

Barbeasty · 24/11/2013 21:59

Pigtails try contacting Cross Rail and see if they have any. If they had models made up for marketing type stuff they may be able to get hold of one, and companies are often good at that side of things (if nothing else they might have posters or mugs etc they could send).

zipzap · 24/11/2013 22:32

poop how about this one on ebay - scratch off map - £10.35 including delivery.

It's on ebay - there were a couple more that were cheaper but not much (£9.70) but were coming from china so no guarantee that they would be here for xmas. Think it is probably worth paying less than a pound extra to have it arrive this week rather than worrying about it...

3bunnies · 24/11/2013 22:32

poop the hut/ zavvi have the travel ones in their 3 for 20 if you can find 2 other things on there that you want.

raisah · 24/11/2013 22:34

Pigtails try the London Transport Museum for the cross rail trains but their shop is not cheap Sad.

However if you email their marketing dept & explain why you need if, they may send you a freebie. Worth a shot even if it is a long one.

Janx The Works do good sturdy boxes with metal poppers at the sides and lids. Saw some in primary colours which would suit lego

DisneyAddict88 · 24/11/2013 22:44

CatAmongThePigeons · 24/11/2013 22:45

Tesco photo were doing photo calendars starting from £4.75 with free delivery to store. Not sure how long it's on for as I saw it briefly on MSE.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 24/11/2013 22:54

Vista print still have half price photo calendars with free postage for £7.99. However, I ordered 2 plus 3 photo desk calendars (at the bargainous price of £2.80 each!) and it gave me the option of free delivery for all. So under £22 for all 5 delivered.

Choccyjules · 24/11/2013 23:08

Have emailed DH a link to the Amazon nails inc diary set, so thank you for that!
Ordered from Joules and Ness a week ago and no parcels yet, at least Amazon has kept me posted about when to expect stuff :-(
