tootired - no code for Dunelm but if you are buying online (and reserve and collect I think) there is cash back to be had from Quidco?

DrankSangriaInThePark · 18/11/2013 15:12

Badvoc, it might be on Black Friday again like last year?

TheOne- generally you download their software and then use that to upload your pics. Albelli is like that, and really easy. Photobox I think you upload onto their website. They are all dead easy.

Penguinbeaver · 18/11/2013 15:22

Is anyone else holding out for the Groupon calendar deal? I'm sure last year I got 3 Photobox A3 wall calendars for IIRC around £5 each?? Can't remember when that deal came up though? I'm sure it was through the bargain threads?

Reastie · 18/11/2013 15:30

Reastie there are three vehicles, a ball and a hamster in there! It was all packed up in one middle sized ish box but I couldn't have managed it on the bus so it went in two tesco bags and the other two boxes went in on top of Poundland and Primarni bags Smile

Reastie · 18/11/2013 15:37

I also ordered the puppies value pack lucy so I wonder what will be in that :) DD has a zhu zhu horse thing which makes crazy noises and the really likes so I hope these will be a hit too and I can spread them out through a couple of christmasses and birthdays.

98 page hardcover A4 landscape book by Photoworld for £19 voucher here through local amazon vouchers

24 page book by Albelli - for £12 voucher here. There's an option for a 50 page book for £15 as well.

TooWetToWoo · 18/11/2013 15:55

I've seen Zhu Zhu hamster babies in Poundworld, could make nice stocking fillers or extras for those of you getting the big sets.

Pizza Hut voucher gone now.

How old where you all when you had glo worms?

I remember mine with fondness so couldn't have been that young. Even the old advert on YouTube shows girls about 5 or 6.

But these days the news one are marketed at babies. I wonder why the shift?

notso · 18/11/2013 16:20

Nespresso Essenz coffee pod machine with Aeroccino milk frothier £99 from John Lewis and Amazon, as a free gift you can send off a form and proof of purchase to claim £70 worth of pods.
The Aeroccino buy itself is £90 on amazon.
I have been waiting for a bargain on one of these since last Christmas!

downdownupdown · 18/11/2013 16:22

wrong thread!

notso · 18/11/2013 16:23

Ooh downdown I was always really Envy of friends with glo worms as I never got one It was before we moved so I was about 6.

NeverQuiteSure · 18/11/2013 16:36

notso we have a Nespresso Essenz coffee pod machine that was given to my DH by a supplier at work. I had completely forgotten about it! It's a 'magimix' one and looks similar but not identical to this one

It is any good? I just looked at the pod prices and was Shock at £7.99 for 10 decaf ones on Amazon (DH can only drink decaf). I saw these cheap versions and wondered whether they'd be any good?

Can anyone advise? Or suggest anywhere else to buy them from? I wouldn't have it out every day, but it would be nice over Christmas.

OodaresingingoftheDoctorDonna · 18/11/2013 16:36

I had a glo worm until I was about 10. It was just hard plastic and much smaller than today's. it sat on my light to recharge.

Theonlyoneiknow · 18/11/2013 16:45

are those coffee machines really good notso ? I always throught I would prefer one which does ground coffee. For some reason I have never been keen on the pod ones - not sure why!! I would like to get a coffee machine and this does look like a good deal. Which one are you getting?

Anniemousse · 18/11/2013 16:48

Anyone know any good deals on batteries ??

notso · 18/11/2013 16:53

Never my Mum is a coffee connoisseur and has a big Gaggia machine at home. She has tried several of the pod machines for her work though and she says the Nespresso is the best by a mile. They buy the pods in bulk as it works out cheaper. I usually buy three or four Cafe Nero's a week sometimes more so I think this will save us some money.

TooWetToWoo · 18/11/2013 16:57

I get batteries in Poundland, a tip is to get Alkaline batteries rather than Zinc Chloride. Alkaline are stronger so best for toys like RC cars.
