zipzap are you sure? Black Friday is 29th.

Dogmatix34 · 18/11/2013 11:25

My local m&s still had snow globe and Father Christmas tins as the offer of the week today. I'm waiting for the four seasons tin-it's lovely. My fox bag came today-very nice. Also got photo calendars from photobox and they are much more professional looking than the ones I normally get from vistaprint.

notso · 18/11/2013 11:35

20% off at Olive&Moss with code TREAT20. Their clothes are adorable!

KungFuBustle · 18/11/2013 11:38

Thank you Norbert for the Lego book link. DS will be very happy with that Christmas morning!

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 18/11/2013 11:41

Sorry! I meant 105cm! I put 15cm originally as the '0' key stuck and was distracted putting it in and put it in the wrong place! He is short honestly not some giant year 1 child!

glenthebattleostrich · 18/11/2013 11:44

Had a reply from Hurst re the perfume, it has been sent in place of the watch. I've emailed them back cancelling the subscription and asking for a return address to post it back.

AdamantEve · 18/11/2013 11:45

Thanks for the code BeaLola I got some bits for DM, had never heard of Bath & Unwind before. I'm a sucker for a freebie!

Trazzletoes · 18/11/2013 11:45

Ah that makes more sense Grin

QueenofClean · 18/11/2013 11:51

Bargain hunters you've served me well so far...just one more thing...I want to get DH a new leather wallet for xmas. It has to have plenty of space for cards, space for notes and a coin part if possible. TIA :)

zipzap · 18/11/2013 11:55

trazzletoes Blush. Doh! You're right!
Was looking at amazon deals on my phone and the black Friday week countdown and it was all showing zero so in my bleary Monday morning state I put 2+2 together and got 99.

Big Oops. Sorry all.

Mind you, in hindsight, the fact that nobody here had posted about it and the times were being displayed as 01:00pm should have been clues that something wasn't right!

Going to go and hide now whilst I try to fix my pc - the wretched thing isn't letting me connect to the Internet or even access my mailbox and I can't figure out why Sad. At least I now have a week before black Friday to sort it out - would be horrible trying to do that on a phone!!

TheOneWithTheHair · 18/11/2013 11:58

Dd is 10 and she's 140cm. I think you may need to ask his parent.

zipzap · 18/11/2013 12:02

queen Tk maxx often have good leather wallets. Last year I picked up a load for my mum to give as presents that were about £15-25 instead of £100-150. Not sure they were genuinely worth the £100+ but very nice for £15-25! And all proper brands too!

Dillydollydaydream · 18/11/2013 12:02

Ah ha. B

Dillydollydaydream · 18/11/2013 12:03

Oops!
Book people want to take my money now :)
Just bought ds the lego ideas book, mini figures sticker books and the minecraft handbook. Thanks for those links.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 18/11/2013 12:08

I've just been to lidl for my cellophane. I stocked up on the clear one so I can use it through out the year too. God knows where I'm going to store it all. Never mind a present cupboard I need a present house!

queen have you tried tk maxx? They have loads of lovely wallets.

snowgirl1 · 18/11/2013 12:11

Rakuten have 17% off (today only) an Apple ipad Air 16GB wifi with 12 month Apple warranty - £329 with free delivery here. Haven't seen many/any discounts on ipads so thought it might be worth mentioning.

Rakuten are having a 'Mega Monday' so lots of other discounts too.

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 18/11/2013 12:14

It's not too early for a seasonal name change is it? Grin

I really want these threads to continue after Christmas, maybe as a general bargain thread in chat? I've saved so much money, not just on Christmas gifts but thanks to the discount codes for M&S, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins etc., I've bought much needed clothes, shoes, pjs etc. for the dc, dh and me. I've saved loads. Also bought a couple of things to keep in the present cupboard for upcoming birthdays. Oh, and books from the Book People too. Obviously wouldn't expect reastie to do all the work on the threads throughout the year. Maybe we could take it in turns to manage the threads?

QueenofClean · 18/11/2013 12:14

Never thought about TKMaxx. Will try therein morning thanks :)

NeverQuiteSure · 18/11/2013 12:27

TeaAndCakeOrDeath - my DS was 5 last month and has just outgrown all his age 4-5 and 5Y sized trousers. He is one of the tallest children in his Reception class. I ordered the 5-6 in the wincey pjs and have just held the trousers up against a Boden 6Y pair of trousers that are a generous fit on DS and they have the same inside leg measurement. So I wouldn't suggest ordering the 5-6 for your nephew.

They do a 4-5 which sounds like it would be ideal for your nephew. I ordered the 4-5 in a different style (comfort fit jersey pjs) for my very tall 3.5 year old DD and they are a little large on her, so perfect for an average sized 4-5 year old.

I would imagine the pair you have seen in 3-4 and 5-6 also has a size 4-5 which has sold out. I would avoid ordering in 3-4 and find a pair that is available in 4-5. The Planes wincey ones are still available in that size.

I don't have a tape measure to hand at the moment, but I can measure later if you are still unsure.

AllIWant85 · 18/11/2013 12:28

Thanks DrankSangria, I saw that sale but it'snot nearly as good as the link you provided. From your link I got the 100 page A4 Personalised book for £24.98 but in the current sale it's £43.00! I think I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that they repeat the offer.

silver28 · 18/11/2013 12:46

I follow these threads daily but not read the last 15 pages of this one yet (so apologies if this as been asked before) but has anyone seen any deals on the pillow pet puppy/dog blanket? I ordered one from debenhams for £15 but they cancelled order as it was out of stock, saw them on amazon full price (£25) but held off buying as hate paying full price. And now they seem to be sold out everywhere. They don't even have them in the pillow pets own website now. But I thought if anyone could find them you lot could Grin

TheFutureMrsB · 18/11/2013 12:50

Not sure if anyone wants anything Toy Story related but my son is Toy Story mad and my DH found these on Argos last night - Interactive Buzz & Woody they are usually £49.99 but are on sale for £44.99, not a massive saving but much cheaper than buying them separately and they are really good, normal sized toys. I pulled them out of the box for a quick look just in case they were teeny tiny but they are the usual size of the the characters. Woody has a pull string on the back and Buzz has flip out wings.

I'm pleased with them anyway :)

armani · 18/11/2013 12:52

silver28 amazon have the pink dog cuddleuppet for £15 with free delivery. cant link as on phone but search for cuddleuppet.

silver28 · 18/11/2013 13:00

Thanks thefuturemrsb but it's the blanket version of that that I'm after.

And thanks for the suggestion Armani but I'd like the pillow pet one as it's cuter (think the cuddleuppets one might scare 2 yo DD as the freaky looking things scare me Grin)
