I also got the monkey nail dryer, it's v odd hut I think DD will love it!

iloveholidays · 13/11/2013 21:46

Thanks Reastie

Jacqueline I could do with you services, having an absolute nightmare with currys at the moment (not the spicy type!!!). Was due our oven and hob last wed and still not been received!! No returning calls or confirming delivery date. WE have a lovely new kitchen with a hole for our new oven, very frustrating. Supposedly out of stock hence them being so vague.

De lurking after 23 threads, I've had no time to post, too busy shopping so thank you all, especially Reastie.

Wanted to share the idea of RNLI Storm Force membership for children 7+ ( although I've given it to younger). Its £7.50 and you get ;

"a membership card with unique membership number
a membership pack containing exclusive 'crew' bag, pencil tin and contents, stickers, map and colouring poster, postcards and a bumper activity booklet
four issues of Storm Force magazine a year; packed with rescue stories, news, activities, comic strips, water safety advice, educational articles and competitions with cool prizes
a shiny new badge for every year of membership."

Very handy for birthdays too and the child gets the magazine/ comic through the year.

Just had a look in my email folder for all the items still to be delivered...must stop buying stuff, even if it is a bargain!

(I won't)

BoohPear · 13/11/2013 22:00

Thanks Reastie. I have finished buying now apart from an item of clothing for a 2 year old and a couple more savory bits for DH's hamper. just got his Xmas eve PJ bottoms and slippers so I'm happy. But why can't I leave this thread?!

supermariossister · 13/11/2013 22:10

Wow sd has asked for an inkoo, they are 3 for £15 in argos for just the tiny ones! the bigger ones are £20. hmm

Hawkmoth · 13/11/2013 22:15

One at The Works here but it's a "wipe clean inkoo" whatever the heck that means.

lucysmam · 13/11/2013 22:17

thanks workingtoohard have bookmarked for payday Grin It says 3-5 yrs I think but my nearly 6yo loved it last year so may get it as a joint gift

VoldemortsNipple · 13/11/2013 22:22

Just place marking after spending two hours catching up on the last thread, scared of missing a freebie. I'm trying to avoid spending much until Amazon have charged me for the unbargainous Xbox One which is due to be sent out me next Friday. Although it does come with a free game due to pre ordering in July so that's saved me £50 Smile

Thanks again Reastie x

Crutchlow35 · 13/11/2013 22:22

Thanks Reastie. I am just about done now.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 13/11/2013 22:24

Save with Jamie SmugTwat is one of the free gifts on Book People if you spend £25. Also free delivery.

They have some annuals at 2 ;for £6 - I got Disney and Deadly 60, but I think Minecraft was on there, and definitely Wand Erection.

supermariossister · 13/11/2013 22:30

Thanks hawk moth it's a draw on and wipe off or wash off like the doodle bear used to be that's looks good for the price we have a works store so will have a look

dementedma · 13/11/2013 22:31

Looking for sheepskin bootee slippers for adult daughter at a price that doesn't make me want to faint! Any ideas?

Patilla · 13/11/2013 22:32

Bit late notice but Boden has got 22% off everything until midnight tomorrow night.

ThisIsMeNow · 13/11/2013 22:34

Thanks reastie! GrinThanks

Don't actually need much more but can't seem to leave these threads...BlushSmile

Jacqueline... I'm in awe!! I'd love to be able to deal with things like that. I end up a stuttering mess.
Murad seem quite snooty in their emails, as if they really want me to think no one has received any discounts and we really managed to hijack their computer system and start some mass discount ordering gift buying pandemonium.

Grin

I'd have paid to see their faces the monday mornin when they had 20000 identical orders and thought 'oh fuck'. Smile

SarahPercyAndBill · 13/11/2013 22:39

Whoever posted about thornback and peel is evil. I won't be complete without those eye watering £5 red robin hankies.

I keep thinking I can use them as scarves and sunhats for the kids.

AmIGoingMad · 13/11/2013 22:39

Wow that last thread filled up quickly! Thank you all for the amazing bargains!

VoldemortsNipple · 13/11/2013 22:41

Shock As a self confessed Potter geek, I shudder to think what a book called Wand Erection is about Grin

Just wanted to add, I was in Asda earlier and they had Yankee candles in wintery smells for £8 (medium jar) Not your usual shaped jar for Yankee, but they are genuine. I think they may be made specifically for Asda.
