Sainsburys have Arthur Christmas DVD £5, a great film!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 18/11/2013 09:35

I have done the mahoooooosive photobook of the scanned pics. Please remind next year not to undertake such an undertaking!

Noticed while doing it that Albelli are still offering £15 product free for new customers (or er, new email addresses....) so a lovely A4 photo book at £14.95 is just p and p.

BeaLola · 18/11/2013 09:46

Thanks to all those of you helping me re green calculator, much appreciated.

For those of you asking about finger lights from Tiger I bought some last week - they were £3 for a set of 5 lights.

lucysmam · 18/11/2013 09:59

I have just picked up my dd2's Grin Zhuzhu hamster set from Tesco, had to get the lady to split it up between a few bags as I'm on the bus but it's fab for the money and she will love it. Thanks for whoever posted it, it's much appreciated!

If anyone has a Wand Erection fan....Primarni have stockings for each group member with an autograph printed on. they were only a few quid & might please someone Smile

I don't suppose anyone has seen any bargain roller skates - four wheel ones? I've just been looking in town but there isn't much to choose from locally Smile

BeaLola · 18/11/2013 10:04

lilylaville · 18/11/2013 10:11

AllIWant85 · 18/11/2013 10:14

Well done DrankSangria :)

I have now scanned and edited nearly 1000 photos, the upload to Photobox is shockingly bad! The photobook I got the other day that was 76% off is almost done but now I need 2 more of them so if anyone gets an email for 76% off A4 Personalised 100 page photobooks please let me know!

TeaAndCakeOrDeath Thanks for the book link - just picked up loads of books for history loving ds, and the Wibbly Pig book for me Grin

zipzap · 18/11/2013 10:36

Apologies if it's already been mentioned but today is the start of the Amazon Black Friday week. Some bargains today - rucksacks, kenwood blenders, bit of jewellery, lots of tools, nothing that really jumped out...

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 18/11/2013 10:38

Aw, I was just coming to post the Scholastic link but I can see it's already here Grin...you lot are quick GrinGrin!!!

TheOneWithTheHair · 18/11/2013 10:46

Right, the roller skates are really easy to adjust. Two clicky straps on each boot. You can adjust the shoe size but there are plenty available. They go on with socks not over shoes.

lucysmam · 18/11/2013 10:48

Excellent, thanks very much. will bookmark those to show dp later on Smile

SarahPercyAndBill · 18/11/2013 10:53

£30 voucher off £150 Liberty of London spend. Doesn't include Frederic Malle perfumes. Bastards.

SarahPercyAndBill · 18/11/2013 11:01

Found some of the Thnormback and Peel hankies on John Lewis site, to save the shipping costs (as you can click/collect to local store.) If anyone has seen them cheaper, shout please.

For those of you in the London area, they were also doing screenprinting classes with Selfridges. Looks like they're sold out in November, but keep a lookout here.

Lots of other interesting classes on offer too, that would make great gifts.

NeverQuiteSure · 18/11/2013 11:02

I haven't fully caught up on this thread yet, but my finger lights arrived this morning after placing my order on 3rd November, so just over a 2 week wait. My estimated delivery date was Tuesday 12 Nov 2013 - Monday 2 Dec 2013, so I'm quite pleased with that.

I also took delivery (amongst other things!) of two of the Girl's World Gabriella dolls, which are now back to over £20 but I managed to order, thanks to this thread, at £5.99 each. I need one for DD's friend's 4th birthday party next month and the other with either go in the present box or to a little girl who we don't usually buy a present for, but who has had a particularly tough year. I can't remember who posted about them, but Thanks

Character pjs also arrived and look to be true to size and good quality. I am going to hold a pair each back for Christmas Eve even though the DC seem to have shot up a couple of inches over the past month and could probably do with them all now

I have also stumbled upon a few potential bargains on Amazon:

Lego Star Wars Death Star storage/play case at £5.81 other Lego Star Wars designs also available at similar prices

Top Trumps Star Wars Death Star Collectors Tin at £5.49 comes with 2 pack of Top Trumps

Lego Star Wars Brickmaster Battle for the Stolen Crystals at £7.99 I have no idea if this is good value or not, but I am very tempted to buy it for DS even though it would mean going off-list and over-budget which I never do. Please either talk me out of it or buy them all so that temptation is removed.

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 18/11/2013 11:08

Big ask I know but could anyone who has ordered those character pjs in either a 3-4 or a 5-6 please measure them? My nephew is 5 in april but short (150cm-ish) and I dont know whether to get 3-4 or 5-6 years?

grew · 18/11/2013 11:15

Thanks for the whiskey labels tip

Trazzletoes · 18/11/2013 11:21

TeaandCake 150cm is immensely tall for a 5 year old. My DS is on the 91st centile, is just past 4 and is 110cm. He's in age 5 clothes which are marked 110-116cm.

Trazzletoes · 18/11/2013 11:21

In fact I'm 5'8" and that's something like 173cm!
