Ophelia - when i was in Lush the other day there was a notice by the till saying that they are no longer accepting some old 10% voucher. Wasn't really paying much attention to it but it said something about not doing discounts as they value their products blah blah...sorry, bit vague!

Kateecas - next on the thing to look at, the alphabet stamps... Will we have identical parcels do you think?! Wonder how many of the same bargains we all have!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 16/11/2013 10:28

Silicone utensils in Home Bargains, Wilkinsons etc. All lovely bright colours, and cheap as chips.

If anyone knows any good deals on a cheapy head torches? Dh has requested one and I've run out of budget for his pressies. The smaller the better as if it's small enough I'll use it as a cracker gift as I'm making my own crackers. Best I can find is £3.05 on amazon Thanks

I've had am email from Amazon today offering lots of discounts on Sylvanian Families stuff. DD far too young but might be worth a look for some of you.

E.g. www.amazon.co.uk/Sylvanian-Families-Childrens-Bedroom-Set/dp/B0001MEGSY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1384599669&sr=8-3&keywords=Sylvanian+Families

There are other too but that one seems to have the largest discount.

GlitteredPinecones · 16/11/2013 11:03

missmakesstuff · 16/11/2013 11:21

Thanks all, will defo look at the nook, I have the paperwhite and like it but I struggle to afford books, I read a lot, about 1 a fortnight.
He has a tablet but its too big to take to read on the train, esp standing which he will end up doing.
I had no idea you could borrow books on the kobo, that would make it much better value, currently he just gets terrible sci fi books free from kindle anyway, using the app.

Littlemissexpecting · 16/11/2013 11:30

Reastie I got DH one from Asda last year sorry cant remember price but it wasn't a lot.

astonvanilla · 16/11/2013 11:31

notso · 16/11/2013 11:38

Just recieved a gigantic box full of all remaining Amazon orders, Waterplay set looks great, it is massive though don't know where to hide it. It's stuffed in my wardrobe at the moment, Teksta in English mercifully, Klutz I Spy book and hide and squeak eggs x2 had to lie to DS1 and say it was something for Grandma and Grandpa!
All four DC are currently playing in the massive box even DD 13 could have saved myself about £700 on their presents and got them a massive box instead Grin Hmm

macandcheesewithbaconbits · 16/11/2013 11:41

Thanks for the ELC 20% code and reduced kitchen tip who've posted. Anyone got any ideas where I can get some good deals on toy kitchen stuff.
