FESTIVEFRANNY · 16/11/2013 12:03

We got a boombox CD player reduced to £21 a couple of weeks ago

FESTIVEFRANNY · 16/11/2013 12:04

I should add CD player from Argos!

Theimpossiblegirl · 16/11/2013 12:08

My finger lights have arrived! Yet to test them but so glad I ordered extra for the cousin's stockings. :)

ValiumQueen · 16/11/2013 12:47

My SIL is a perfume snob and I am wondering if she might turn her nose up at the Rhianna perfume. She buys every designer perfume there is, but just keeps it unopened. Not really sure why. Should I be worried?

TheBuskersDog · 16/11/2013 12:51

Valium, I think I'd be a bit Hmm if I was given Rhihanna perfume, sorry but it seems like something for a teenager.

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/11/2013 12:56

I would say Argos for the CD player too.

ColdCadence · 16/11/2013 13:06

My finger lights still haven't turned up and the last estimated delivery date was today. Have contacted seller. Did anyone else have theirs turn up after the estimated del date? Am :(

I think I need to sit with a pen and notebook when I read these threads and jot down anything I'm interested in, by the time I reach the bottom of the thread I've forgotten what I was going to buy! Grin I know I wanted to look at the Debenhams site but there was something else I was interested in and for the life of me cannot remember what it was! Really can't be bothered reading back through, hopefully it'll come to me!

Thank you to the poster that linked the curling tongs, they look fab Thanks

slp123 · 16/11/2013 13:07

thanks for the amazon ideas. Has anyone seen chocolate brazil nuts in the shops?

slp123 · 16/11/2013 13:09

p.s still no sign of my finger lights either. 14th was ladt estimated delivery dateSad

girlsyearapart · 16/11/2013 13:11

slp try holland & Barrett for the nuts

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 16/11/2013 13:11

Love the idea of a finger light switch on!

platespinnermum · 16/11/2013 13:22

Coldcadence & slp my finger lights haven't arrived within the estimated date, I contacted the seller via Amazon and they are re-sending them - I'm not optimistic they'll arrive before Christmas though but may end up with 2 sets, you never know!

angelabbie · 16/11/2013 13:22

choc brazils special offer at Morrisons £3

DrankSangriaInThePark · 16/11/2013 13:24

All those of you buying e-readers etc, remember to use Daily Free Books to download, free books!

I have about 1,000 most of which obv I will never read, but it makes me feel better.

Some are dross, but you do get some good ones, and the children's ones are generally OK. (lots of fantasy/dragons/HP rip-offs etc- but children aren't as discerning as us I suppose!)

OodaresingingoftheDoctorDonna · 16/11/2013 13:26

Anyone seen any dr who socks ? Or other doctor who sticking fillers for the teens or dh. Under £5 though this thread can prob do 58p

MrsAFlowerpot · 16/11/2013 13:29

slp thr Poundland I was in the other day had choc brazil nuts.

Thanks for all the jewellery suggestions. Off to browse now Grin

3bunnies · 16/11/2013 13:35

OU poster arrived today together with a prism and yet more finger lights. I think I have 5 sets now - I keep ordering more. I think I am unilaterally strengthening UK-Chinese trade relations four finger lights at a time. Still waiting for post-it notes - and still need to find something for SIL. Then I think I will be done.

girlsyearapart · 16/11/2013 13:42

FFFBNV13 for 25% off new look until end of tomorrow

ColdCadence · 16/11/2013 13:44

slp and plates thanks for replying about the lights. Gutted that I might not have them for dd's stocking - she would've loved them. Also gutted might not have them for the mumsnet light switch on Grin.

slp I saw boxes of chocolate Brazil nuts in M&S a few weeks ago. They were £3/4.

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/11/2013 13:54

I have got to stop buying for ds2. But it's soooo easy and there's so much stuff he'd love.

Resist

Luggage16 · 16/11/2013 13:59

haha the one - I am having a similar issue with ds!

ValiumQueen · 16/11/2013 14:01

BuskersDog I think you are right. I think I will give it to DD1 for her birthday. I was hoping to give SIL the body shop stuff and the Murad stuff with the book. Neither materialised. She is so hard to buy for.

TwoStepsBeyond · 16/11/2013 14:06

Weebarra, Ferrero Rocher always seemed very grown up and posh when I was a kid!

ValiumQueen · 16/11/2013 14:07

Bit young for liqueurs?

nickdrakeslovechild · 16/11/2013 14:18
