The finger lights are FAB! I used the blue one last night to pretend the police were coming to arrest DS for sitting on the toilet for too long Grin Have ordered four more sets for presents.

Emoticon fail Blush Grin

NeverQuiteSure · 12/11/2013 12:18

Mariposa doll down to lowest ever £12 on Amazon

I paid £12.50 for one in the Sainsbury's half price sale and couldn't believe my luck at that price.

Kipsy · 12/11/2013 12:22

I received my finger lights too. I think a ship-load of finger lights have made it to the UK from China thanks to this thread.

One of the lights was left on (I was a bit Confused when the postie handed me a glowing parcel) but it still works. I tested played with them a bit last night. Fab stuff - really bright and kids will love it.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but the Disney store, monsters university DVD is £10.99, or £12 with an Art cuddly toy, then if you spend £10 you can get a cuddly chilly from doc mcstuffins for £3.99, also delivery is £1 (not sure for how long!)

So you get the DVD and 2 cuddly toys delivered for £16.99!

On the look out for stocking fillers today.

Have found:

Comedy moustache necklaces - which I thought ds's would like to wear round their necks, then hold up to pretend it's their moustache - 59p!

A Harry Potter snitch necklace / watch thingy - £2.59

Metal handcuffs - £1.60

And had to buy this VTech microphone as so cheap - £6.67 reduced from £10.16 - now need to find baby to give it to.
Am slowly coming to terms with the fact that Amazon are clearly not going to be delivering the Drinking Fudge I've ordered. Anyone know if I can just cancel the order and try and find it elsewhere. It was the 6 Christmas flavours set, for £8.

lucysmam · 12/11/2013 12:45

Almost forgot....poundworld have pop up pint pots too like these might be good for someone's dh or dp as a stocking filler (I picked one up for mine) Smile

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 12/11/2013 12:52

Book People special offer for the next 9 minutes is. The complete 68 book Thomas the Tank Engine library for 25 quid. Absolute bargain!

KittyMouseRocks · 12/11/2013 12:54

bluesky I put my beers in a wicker basket from ikea for about £5. I think it's meant to be a drawer insert but you couldn't tell and the beers go perfectly in it. Have tied some ribbon around the basket and it looks much more pricey than what I paid.

Theonlyoneiknow · 12/11/2013 12:57

Where is the best place to get finger lights, they sound like a lot of fun!

KittyMouseRocks · 12/11/2013 12:58

Yippee - my 59p owl pendant has finally arrived! Not sure whether to keep it or add to my sis-in-law's stash.

I'm tempted by the Christmas loo roll. I use half a roll on each visit (so doh says Blush) so don't think it'll last too long!!!

I really hope this thread carries on post Christmas - loves my bargain hunting buddies!!! Grin

KittyMouseRocks · 12/11/2013 12:58

Doh even - stupid autocorrect!!!

KittyMouseRocks · 12/11/2013 12:59

Ahhh dh!!!

Pogosticks · 12/11/2013 13:02

Rofl at the toilet police!!

Survival - have you ever read any Thomas books though, they are sooo dull (for parents), if I was faced with 68 of them I would cry!

lucysmam · 12/11/2013 13:05

theonlyoneIknow bargainous finger lights Smile (am still waiting on mine....they seem to be walking here Grin )

Luggage16 · 12/11/2013 13:08

hello fresh box just arrived - tbh I think its very over priced at full price. The pepper is past its best and things like pasta and rice are in weighed out bags so wont make very large meals (my husband has a big appetite). Generally the food looks good quality though and I'm looking foward to trying the meals out this week, but personally I dont think its worth full price. Also I did the meal selector thing and they have ignored it and sent us the salmon meal we didnt want - I dont mind this too much on this discounted box but it would annoy me if I had paid full price

MrsAFlowerpot · 12/11/2013 13:08

Amazon seem to be price matching Smyths for Doc Mcstuffins bag. Can't link as on phone but down to £13.29

Theonlyoneiknow · 12/11/2013 13:10

Thanks lucysmam !

lucysmam · 12/11/2013 13:14

I'd order them soon Theonlyone, delivery takes a good while by the looks of it...am hoping they'll be here in time for my girls' advent calendars Smile

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/11/2013 13:16

I have a Boden code for £15 off on top of 10% and free delivery. I think it's a unique code which expires 25/11.

Pm me if anyone wants it.

Bettyhen · 12/11/2013 13:20

Not sure if it's been mentioned but asda have the batman imaginex bat cave for £20, chuffed as I missed it when it was reduced on Amazon

greedygoose · 12/11/2013 13:22

Anyone doing Harry Potter bits - I ordered this for dd for her b'day. It is totally brilliant and I am so excited about her seeing it. They personalise the envelope so you can pretend it's real Grin

You can offer a price, I got it for £18 but you could try seeing if they accepted less?

here

greedygoose · 12/11/2013 13:25

Anyone doing a spy kit - can I ask what you have in them? I know someone linked to a passport James Bond stylee at some point that was quite good? Thanks

Nix01 · 12/11/2013 13:32

I ordered my fingerlights on 16/10 and they've just arrived and they all work :)

Dillydollydaydream · 12/11/2013 13:33

Thanks workingTooHardMama
I was going to buy monsters university for ds anyway. £6.99 for the 2 soft toys is good. I looked at the sizes and they're actually fairly big :)
